Merging unqualified FLCs into parent lists edit

For lists that do not qualify for FLC status because they have less than ten items, I guess their items should be merged into their parent article? I don't think this has ever been done before, at least not to a parent article who passes FLC itself. For instance, since you're familiar with my university lists, I'll use those as an example. Some of the provinces don't have enough universities to qualify for FLC, so I will merge those into the parent article of List of universities in Canada. If you look at it now, it's just a list of universities with no statistics or anything. How should the page be formatted to reach FL status, especially if some of those provinces will branch off into their own List of universities in Province articles? Gary King (talk) 16:12, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Also, this guy supported their own article. Gary King (talk) 16:40, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'll probably have separate articles for all of the provinces, then merge back the provinces that have less than 10 universities into the main list. Gary King (talk) 16:45, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Simpsons Episode list edit

Your edit says "experimenting", but I think the page was better the way it was. The links were more clear, and that table is not really necessary. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.10.72.228 (talk) 21:10, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Here is my reasoning. The season links were much easier to click on and read using the standard wiki table of contents. As a temporary solution, I've added the word "Season" to each number to make it easier to click on. Hopefully we can work something better out, though, because I really think the old way was easier to understand. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.10.72.228 (talk) 05:32, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

FLC reviews edit

I noticed that a few recently promoted FLs had some prose issues that weren't brought up during FLC. I guess I'm going to go back to reviewing as much as I can, and I'm going to start kicking ass and taking names. We'll need more prose reviewers as TRM slowly fades away (I hope he doesn't, though) so feel free to form an open invitation for that. Gary King (talk) 06:45, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Homer Simpson edit

I'm sorry to hear it failed so soon! I have been extremely busy the last few days and was waiting till I had an extended period of time to read it thoroughly (I have some tomorrow). That was very fast to fail an FAC! The article improved dramatically during the FAC process and I was not expecting this outcome, certainly not so soon. I will go through it tomorrow and give as thorough a review as I can and hopefully iron out any remaining problems. Assuming all is sorted tomorrow, I will be happy to support next time. How about if I just delete the section on Province and territories of Canada and put {{main|List of Canadian provinces and territories in order of entering Confederation}} to replace it. -- K. Annoyomous24[c] 01:56, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for giving me a suggestion which can make my odds of winning the contest higher. -- K. Annoyomous24[c] 02:45, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for bothering you so much about the FLC contest, but I was wondering if I could co-nominate a FLC for the contest. I know it could be a little advantage on the other entrants, but I hope you are willing to let me co-nominate. The reason I am asking you this question is because Arctic.gnome is still active on Wikipedia and he did more than 50 edits on the article, List of premiers of British Columbia, and it would be unfair if he doesn't get credit for his work. -- K. FL contest edit

Can I count "List of W. S. Gilbert's dramatic works" as Literature? Because we do rather need both lists, and I've been meaning to do both for a while. Shoemaker's Holiday (talk) 22:32, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hmm. edit

One problem I kind of foresee is that some lists are easier to do than others - List of transitional species, for instance, will be closer to a featured article, with lots of reasearch, whereas simpler lists might be relatively easier. How about a judges' choice award for best featured list(s) created in the contest? Shoemaker's Holiday (talk) 22:38, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

That's fair, but do any of my categories now count as underrepresented? By which I mean, I don't think there are very many, if any, FLs in any of those topics, but none are on the official list, and I'm not sure if that list is prescriptive, or just examples. Shoemaker's Holiday (talk) 22:47, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oh, by the way, I did work on some biological topics years ago, under an old nick, but haven't in at least a year. There were some somewhat related to transitional species, but nothing very close - I was one of about 20 working on Evolution and one of two on Ediacaran biota. Is that a problem? Sorry, I just want to make sure I'm rigidly fair about this =) Shoemaker's Holiday (talk) 22:51, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Just remember I am, of course, one of the leading members of the Gilbert and Sullivan project, with FAs such as Thespis (opera), Creatures of Impulse and Trial by Jury. I haven't nominated any biological FLs, certainly, but... you see why I'm a little cautious here. Shoemaker's Holiday (talk) 23:02, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Could I switch from List of Bleach video games to List of Soul Eater chapters? Despite how the list looks, the lead needs a big rewrite (too much in-universe detail), the table needs refs and plot summaries (see List of D.Gray-man chapters, List of Claymore chapters). As such, it's needs quite a bit of work to get to FL. Cheers, — sephiroth bcr (converse) 23:10, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey Scorp. Nice work, but if had to go any particular route, I'd look at just creating a "Portrait" column and keeping the images in that? I've seen that a few times. I'd also make the country col thinner and break between multiple winners' nationalities... Hope that helps a little? The Rambling Man (talk) 16:11, 8 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think the way you have it is fine right now, although like I say, a separate column for the portrait would work too. List of Nobel Laureates in Chemistry images edit

Hi I notice you removed the images I added with an edit summary of "rv. Those were all removed because they have no source and/or old depreciated license tags". If you are concerned about the sources, I think that alot of the oldest pictures there are not properly sourced, and may fail fair use. This is because they claim the 70 years rule stating that the subject died >70 years ago. However this isn't the rule, I believe that it is 70 years after the "last surviving author died". The reason I added the ones I did (pre-1922) is that they appear to be rather official pictures, and would qualify under "The work was created and first published before January 1, 1923." I am no expert in this field, but just thought i'd mention it as it is a FLC, and will need considering. Sorry, to burden you with this. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 11:10, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Thanks for uploading Image:Snowball II Funeral.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Yeah, I sort of just stuck it there for now. I'll probably give it its own section later, once I've listened to a few commentaries. On a related note, do you think that most of the Response section (the what happened to NewsRadio and The Simpsons etc.) would be better off in the show sections? Long quote short.. Bart's page looks fantastic, I'd stick another free-use image in though, maybe Jim Brooks for a change? Or MJ? As for Marge, I think including the Bush letter is fine. The Dispatches and Treehouse of Horror edit

Hi Scorpion0422. As disucssed at this thread, SandyGeorgia thinks that the story behind how Treehouse of Horror (series) became FA'ed its presentation on the Main Page on October 31st along with other Halloween content would make a good story for the Dispatches. Since you received the FA button for Treehouse of Horror, I thought that you might be interested in writing the story for the Dispatches. -- Suntag 14:35, 2 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Then ignorance is your bigger flaw. Consider this as a critisizm rather than outright attack. And be a man and respond to my talk page. Reverting is just plain stupid, but it is your call and your page, not mine. Regards: The Mad Hatter (talk) 21:42, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am finishing each post with regards. Is this not telling you that I am still respectful? Are you so self centred?

Finishing a post with "regards" does not by any means make it civil. Even if you don't consider your posts to be an attack, criticism of a particular editor is not allowed, and may result in a block. In your previous post, you called Scorpion "ignorant" and "stupid", which is clearly uncivil. Please stop. Thank you. –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 21:46, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think that makes you unexperienced user, not bad user. I am not attacking you. You threatened me with blocking, remember? How did you expect me to react when you are threatening me with block. And then you just reverted your talk page and deleted my answer. Do you regard your behaviour as honourable? I am not attacking you, I am critisizing your behaviour. There is sheer difference between attack and critique. I am not attacking anybody, I am expressing my doubts of your abilities of editing and judgement. I am and will remain respectful. My behaviour is unchanged. Regards: The Mad Hatter (talk) 21:58, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Calling someone "extremely childish" hardly speaks well of your so-called constructive criticism. Your comments aren't constructive criticism; if anything, your comments veer more towards the "childish" comments you are accusing Scorpion of. Being on Wikipedia longer than Scorpion means nothing. Your perceptions that he is "inexperienced" because he had an opposite view in a merge discussion is baseless, and speaks more to your lack of understanding of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You are not being respectful, and this is what other users have been calling you out on. If your behavior does not change, then blocks for incivility may be appropriate. — sephiroth bcr (converse) 22:03, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ok, ok, I am backing off. I will not appologize, because I don't regard myself as wrong. The issue isn't worth it. People are keener on attacking me rather than constructively present their view and keener on threatening me with block rather than explain their behaviour. I am backing off. If you can think of it as a battle - you win. Regards: The Mad Hatter (talk) 22:10, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Besides, I already presented my view on the differences and the bureaucratic stuff behind the Wikipedia. And what did I get - block threat. Glamourous. The Mad Hatter (talk) 22:13, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I believe List of Asian XI ODI cricketers currently satisfies the criteria, and List of Australian Twenty20 International cricketers and List of Scottish ODI cricketers have significantly improved and are now up to date and have more developed leads. The FLC I'm referring to is #4: Structure. It is easy to navigate, and includes—where helpful—section headings and table sort facilities. Well, that's the discretion of the contestants. If they pick a hard list, then it's their fault for picking the list. To this end, I could include awards for difficult lists. Ted Morris Memorial Trophy and Bruce Coulter Award edit

Hi. I intend to revert your redirect of Morris Trophy and to create the Coulter Award articles. I see no reason why these articles cannot co-exist with the Vanier Cup article and permits expansion and explanation of the award, its history, and the person for whom they are named. The awards are noted in news coverage of the game and on rosters of players who go on to the CFL and there also several websites who keep lists of the winners, so meeting the WP:N guidelines to meet WP:V, WP:NPOV, and WP:NOR is not an issue. DOUBLEBLUE (talk) 22:56, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I really don't see any reason to remove the info from Vanier Cup. It is good context. There's just more that can be added to the individual articles in time. DOUBLEBLUE (talk) 23:59, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'd really like to have the histories of the awards and background I've already added and add photos, details of the trophies themselves, and any notable stories about the selections. I really treasure the featured status of the Vanier Cup article and fear radical changes to it. I wonder how much can be added before it's no longer a list but rather an article and then if it would still be featured quality so I hesitated to add the information there. Do you think merging the facts I added to the Vanier Cup article could be added to a new section about "Individual awards" and not endanger the featured status? DOUBLEBLUE (talk) 01:01, 22 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I would definitely like to continue to add info but I agree that it can fit at Vanier for now if you're confident it doesn't affect the FL status. I'm glad that someone like you, who I believe is familiar with FL requirements, is watching the article and hope you'll let me know if I do anything that risks its status. Cheers, DOUBLEBLUE (talk) 23:25, 22 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re:List of countries edit

Yeah, I'll probably close it in a week. The speedy closing criteria looks good. A nice line would be:

Nominations may be closed earlier than the allotted two weeks if in the judgment of the FLRC directors, the list in the nomination:

  • has a clear consensus to merge or redirect to another article or list;[Note] or
  • has a clear copyright violation and removal of the copyrighted material would severely decrease the quality of the list; or
  • has a clear consensus to be delisted and no significant efforts have been made to improve the list.

Note for the first item would say that: "This consensus may be shown in Articles for deletion, a discussion on the article's talk page, a discussion on the relevant WikiProject(s), or other community venues that present a tangible consensus to merge or redirect the article." Cases in which the merge/redirect are brought up during the FLRC would ideally fall under criteria #3 if it was clearcut.

Thoughts? — sephiroth bcr (converse) 10:00, 24 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Bart edit

I like the second paragraph of "Role". I have some concerns about the first, though. I'm not crazy about including Bart's backstory at all, because of the show's inconsistent continuity. However, the Homer article passed with a similar section, so I'm not sure if it's worth worrying about.

One thing you might want to check is the tense in the article. When you're writing about fiction, you're supposed to use the present tense. However, the article sometimes slips into the past when describing events on the show.

Is Jackyd101 going to offer more comments at the article's talk page? It seems like s/he was planning to add something. You might want to hold off on the FAC until all that is settled. Zagalejo^^^ 08:00, 26 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re: AC/DC edit

Thanks! Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a good shot of Phil Rudd from where I was at, the stage was too high up for me to angle my camera correctly. I did get a few pictures but it seems like he didn't have enough light shining on him.

I was hoping for the band to take a bow at the end for a shot of all 5 but no such luck. I may be going to another show in January so we'll see what happens there. Weatherman90 (talk) 01:22, 27 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I did get a picture of the Rosie balloon - do you think I should upload it? I don't have any shots of those pairings you mentioned, in fact I can't remember Angus standing next to Malcolm or Cliff for very long at all, it seemed like he was always running around. A 3 guitar jam would have made a great picture but the way the show seems to focus almost all of the attention on Angus and Brian. I suppose they are the stars of the band but it would have been cool to see Malcolm & Cliff up closer to the crowd. Weatherman90 (talk) 01:38, 27 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the barnstar! I just uploaded the Rosie picture and I also managed to find a decent picture of Phil Rudd as well. Go ahead and make any changes as to the placement of the Rosie image, you might have a better idea as to where it should go since you're a long time contributor to AC/DC articles. List of The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episodes edit

I know the poem and the episode are different things, but the latter is a fairly close retelling of the former, and it ought to be linked somehow. How about a link to The Raven in popular culture#Television? — sjorford++ 17:16, 27 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

That's a fair point - in fact the first column links to the episode page itself, which in turn links to The Raven - I'd barely even registered that because the I link is so squiddly. i'm trying to think of a way to make that more visible, since that column contains the most important links in the list. — sjorford++ 17:29, 27 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

List of Nobel Laureates edit

Okay, I've added a lead and other cleanup. Any objection to nominating it now (mentioning both of us as co-noms naturally)? As for List of Nobel Peace Prize laureates (should it be "Nobel Peace Prize Laureates"?), I don't know what to do. In the university laureate lists, I put their occupation/what they did that's in their profile. Thoughts? — sephiroth bcr (converse) 23:31, 27 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sounds like a good solution. I'll leave it to you to do the Peace Prize list. As long as the rationale column gives why they received the award, it should be fine. In any case, I've nominated List of Nobel Laureates here. — sephiroth bcr (converse) 00:10, 28 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ken Keeler edit

(Responding to your entry on my talk page) My argument for notability goes as follows: Keeler has (apparently) mentioned the "theory" on multiple DVD commentaries; it seems clearly to have some bearing on the large number of "underpants" references in Futurama; and -- most significantly -- it's mentioned as an example at inherently funny word. Unless you think I'm not making my case well, I'll restore. But I'm still puzzled why the admin felt it had to be reverted.76.94.45.139 (talk) 21:58, 29 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Schultz edit

Dear Scorpion (name?) Not sure the basis for your edits. I do understand about Wiki policy on promotion etc. But I feel that my article was well within the boundaries. I was in the process of adding sources - but everything that was written was created by my staff over the years as a way of informing the press and others about my experience. It is all well documented in journals and other sources. I get email from folks asking about these things and thought that Wikipedia would be a good place to collate and memorialize the information. I think you went to far - but I am interested in your point of view on better formats and further use of Wiki - your input as to appropriateness would be great. Pictures of me? Yes I have them -- holding emmys with all the other folks at the award show etc... Bill —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.149.129.225 (talkcontribs) 18:58, 30 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

The article was a good start, but I felt some of the wording was the kind of stuff that should be avoided. You can readd what you like, but a lot of the article focused completely on the positives, which should also be avoided. If some of the statements can be backed in reliable third party sources, then by all means, please add citations. As for images, any you could add would be most welcome. -- Scorpion0422 19:17, 30 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hello there. I'm afraid that sources written by your staff probably do not fall into the category of reliable, independent and verifiable sources. It should be specifically independent sources that verify your contribution and notability. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and a collection of neutral content that may benefit the wider public, and is not necessarily a place to collate information for your clients or patrons. I think Scorpion0422's actions were correct in this instance. Best, PeterSymonds (talk) 19:25, 30 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

RESPONSE TO PeterSymonds

As a producer of the Simpsons and many years in the animation industry - I am constantly being asked how I got where I am - and the details of my various associations and interactions within the animation business. Why is that information not appropriate to Wiki pedia -- At what point must a statement be supported by additional specific sitings? There is nothing in the article that has not been printed in other magazines, interviews and books. How can this information be made available to Wikipedias wide audience?

Is it appropriate for wikipedia? Yes. But, it should be written by an uninvolved party. Per WP:COI#How to avoid COI edits, you should avoid "Editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved." Perhaps you should consider starting your own website. -- Scorpion0422 20:08, 30 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I don't think that there is a stability issue. Quickie suggestion regarding Wikipedia:FCDW/WBFLN edit

Instead of "How does the FLC process differ from the FAC process?" which sounds like you're asking for a technical description of the differences, you might get a better reply if you personalise it slightly by asking "How do you feel the FLC process differs from the FAC process?" I think this comes closer to asking the question you originally intended (how is it better/worse). All the best, Steve TC 22:28, 3 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Why did you remove the reference to a somewhat similiar 1975 Australian dispute. There are only a handful of incidents in the Commonwealth in the last century, and this is perhaps the most important. It has nothing to do with the Australian situation being a coalition, and everything to do with it being a similiar impasse, where the Governor General had to make a decision. Greetings! I've been writing for the Signpost lately, and I recently interviewed Ruslik0 of Wikiproject Solar System. Would you like to be interviewed regarding Wikiproject The Simpsons? You appear to be the best person to interview - you've made the most edits to the project page, the most edits to the talk page, and you've written dozens of episode GAs.

If you're interested, just let me know either here or on my talk page. I'll walk you through the whole process from there. Thanks! --Cryptic C62 · Talk 18:04, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Christian Cage edit

It has been a known fact from Kurt Angle that Christian Cage might be jumping ships from what he has been hearing from someone in WWE on "LIVE" edition of "Impact!". But yet you keep on removing it from the site, Why? Also, he hasn't been seen from on "LIVE" Impact! or in an Impact! ring ever since that attack, and on top of that his contract is up sometime in December of '08. So if all of this is true why remove anything that I have been contributing?

"Summer of 4 Ft. 2" edit

Hey, could you take a look at "Summer of 4 Ft. 2" before I nominate it? Also, let me know when you have some time over to see if there's anything useful in the Mickey Rooney chapter in Nancy's book, as the DVD commentary barely mentioned him. Cheers, TheLeftorium 15:26, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reliable sources, verifications of what I am saying edit

Listen to me I have watched November 13, 2008's edition of Impact stating once Christian Cage's contract expires sometime next month according to Kurt Angle that he has heard that he might be jumping ship from the locker room of TNA from what they have heard by someone in WWE or Kurt has heard that news directly from someone in the WWE. So news flash I am stating something that was on Live Telivision that should be a reliable source now shouldn't it? I'd like it if you made a page for only us two to talk on, and not this page.Sharp Kid (talk) 20:10, 22 December 2008 (UTC) Scorpio, that's very kind of you. If possible please can you ask Gran2 to talk to me. Thanks.Sharp Kid (talk) 20:18, 22 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please Describe More edit

I couldn't see an option "E-Mail this user" on the left hand side. Please describe in smaller pieces. Sharp Kid (talk) 12:14, 23 December 2008 (UTC) Sorry, Scorpio, when I clicked on the link, it said the following: You must be logged in and have a valid authenticated e-mail address in your preferences to send e-mail to other users. If it will take a long time Scorpion, then I'll just talk to you and Gran2 on both your user pages. Thanks for trying to help me though.Sharp Kid (talk) 18:48, 23 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

WikiCup notice edit

The 2009 WikiCup will begin on January 1, 2009. The first round will run through March 31, 2009. For more information on this tournament, read the "about" section on the main WikiCup page.

This year, we have a different system in calculating points. At User:Garden/WikiCup/Submissions, you will find information about submitting your article (and other) work to earn points. Each contestant will have their own individual subpage for submitting completed work to us.

This year, User:ST47 will also be running one of his bots to calculate mainspace edits and read your submission subpages to calculate the point values you receive based on our scoring chart.

Questions or comment? Ask at the talk page or go directly to Garden or IMatthew's talk page. Good luck and Happy Holidays! -- ayematthew and Garden. 13:57, 23 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

WP:FLC edit

May I ask why haven't you archive the FLC nominations which have consensus to be or not to be promoted? -- signed by SRE.K.Annoyomous.L.24 spell my name backwards on 01:52, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Missionary: Impossible edit

Hey, I know that season 11 isn't part of any ongoing topic drive, but when you get a chance do you think you could work up some Production info for this article? Thank you, Cirt (talk) 08:49, 25 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Okay thank you I will look into that. As for the Production stuff - no rush - anything you can do will be appreciated. Cirt (talk) 04:09, 27 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Bart the Mother edit

Are you able to crack open Nancy Cartwright's book for this episode? It's season 10, but, it only needs you for a brief moment! Lefty suggested I ping you. Gary King (talk) 16:46, 25 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Question for FL nomination edit

Hi there,

My self with a group of other editors have been working hardly in a set of articles that we would like to promote to FL (and potentially the whole thing to a featured topic). We managed to promote one, Euro gold and silver commemorative coins (Belgium); but when we started to work on the nomination of the others (specifically Euro gold and silver commemorative coins (Austria)), somebody claimed that there are too many non-free images on them. We have since then prepared for nomination the countries Austria, Finland, Malta, Cyprus, Greece, Slovenia and Monaco; while we continue to work on the other countries.

The question is, what is your opinion, as director of the FL committee, about lists that have different non-free but properly fair-use images intrinsic in the character of the list? The images are not there to make the article look good, they are the core existence of the article and without the images the article itself makes no sense. Can you please take a quick look at Euro gold and silver commemorative coins (Austria) for example and tell me if it is worth to send it for nomination?

If you agree I would love to start nominating the ones that are ready.

Many thanks, Miguel.mateo (talk) 10:05, 29 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Can you clarify one of your comments? edit

Can you clarify a comment you made here: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Archive 59#Okay, new proposal for the tables on championship lists. Were you talking about all referees or just the normal referees? Special guest referees are not common (obviously) and are relevant since they often factor into the match result and thus the title change. At SummerSlam (1997) for example, Shawn Michaels was the guest referee for the WWF Championship match between The Undertaker and Bret Hart. Michaels and Hart were in a feud at the time, Hart vowed to never wrestle in the United States again if he lost and Michaels would never be allowed to wrestle again in the US if he didn't call the match down the middle. At the end of the match Hart spit in Michaels face, Michaels grabbed a chair (that Hart had brought in) and swung it trying to hit Hart. Hart ducked and Michaels hit the Undertaker. Hart covered Undertake and Michaels had no choice but to count the fall and award the title to Hart. This would lead to Michaels turning heel and forming D-Generation X. So the referee in this match was very relevant and should obviously be noted in the title history page.

So while I agree that who the normal ref is isn't important, aren't guess referees notable enough to include in the title list pages? TJ Spyke 01:46, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

2008 Summer Olympics edit

Hey there! You "reviewed" this Olympics page for GA status over a year ago (see this archive), but the main issue was that the games had not even occurred yet. So that I don't have to go through the formal GAC process of listing the article on the GAC page, I'm asking you if you'd like to review it again, given the changed circumstances. If not, I'd list it like all other GACs. I just thought I'd give you the opportunity. Jared (t)  16:19, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
