Request reason:

I am making a new request as NinjaRobotPirate recommended. More than 6 months have passed. The last one was stale. Unexplained to me: I guess people didn't want to "dabble" with me. I suppose also that administrators either are busy or are afraid that I'll be a failure. Virtually, I haven't edited much other Wikipedias. My work here is my main work. I hope I'd be reinstated again. I'll never copy information without citing resources and I won't move photos from page to page. For the last thing I hope I'll be excused: I didn't know it was that serious. More precisely: wasn't very familiar with that rule. Please, don't refuse me. I will always cite resources. Likewise, as said: I will try to use summaries more frequently. Due to my more than 15-years experience, I'd like to reassure that I won't make these same mistakes again, but I'll be more cautious and won't make like that many edits as before. I'll edit for sure, but I hope I won't be re-blocked (if unblocked) just for being absent? Probably not. Regards: Elan Morin Tedronai (talk)

Decline reason:

I'm sorry, I cannot unblock you. You were unblocked before after being blocked for COPYVIO's and were promptly reblocked. You've not made any credible assurance of not continuing to COPYVIO and you have not edited other wiki's to show you can do so w/o getting blocked. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You forgot to show another language version of Wikipedia where you made a substantial number of edits without copyright and fair-use violations, as requested by ToBeFree. --Yamla (talk) 13:18, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yes, @Yamla: here on bg:Димитър Талев without any bickering. Well, there were some in the beginning, but people became comfortable with my vision. Also, I did some work on bg:Димитър Мантов, bg:Петър Бобев and bg:Цончо Родев: here and there. Not the most substantial ones (as stated English Wikipedia is/was my main job), but it counts I think. I also did translations of Dimitar Mantov, Tsoncho Rodev and Anton Donchev, but here on English Wikipedia. I mainly hold my work here as my main priority and thus haven't done much work elsewhere. I admit, I am for criticism: I should've paid more attention and do more. I hope I'll be readmitted again and the request won't stale. I'll never copy photos from one article to another and I will always state resources. Speaking of which, once unblocked (hopefully) I want to put some citations on The World of the Wheel as it covers written from Fandom. Regards: Elan Morin Tedronai (talk)

I see only three edits on bg.wikipedia in 2022, see here. Am I missing something? That's a very, very long way from "a substantial number of edits". --Yamla (talk) 20:45, 3 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
No, no, @Yamla: you are right! Yes, I am perfectly for criticism: I haven't made substantial edits on other Wikipedias. I just thought that after 6 months (turned 9) passed and since English Wikipedia is my main job: I would be unblocked and will prove my worth here. Yes, I haven't done much for Bulgarian Wikipedia these years. I am for criticism, but please don't ironize me. I will prove my worth. I admit however that I've done quite a lot here and there's still things I can do in English Wikipedia, yes, without much work done on other Wikipedias (still, some work I have done). With no vandalizing of any kind, copyright problems and missed citations, I assure you. Regards: Elan Morin Tedronai (talk)

@Deepfriedokra:: OK. That's very hurtful. OK. I have no words. I thought I'd be unblocked if make a good unblock request, but... alas it didn't happen. OK. Is there a way, I might get unblocked in the future? Or, it doesn't matter. I won't be editing any Wikipedia, because it hurts my soul that I'm denied each request I made. Regards: Elan Morin Tedronai (talk) EDIT: Oh, and @Deepfriedokra:: I haven't edited other Wikipedias "w/o getting blocked". I don't understand this "credible assurance": I've worked for 15 years without much problems and my contributions stand. It looks like you are venting your frustrations and taking it out your spite on me. But... OK. I admit and respect administrators' decision. I hope I will be unblocked one way or the other... in the coming years. But actually, let's ask @NinjaRobotPirate:? NinjaRobotPirate, it was a stale unblock request. You told me to make a new one. I made... and was denied again. They told me 6 months and to try again. But, alas: no, it won't happen. It's OK. I'll be fine. Regards: Elan Morin Tedronai (talk) ADD: It's humiliating. Really. Very humiliating. From @Yamla: to @Deepfriedokra:: it's incredibly sad and humiliating, you, people do this to me. Or not do anything at all. Asking in March: no, 3 months waiting and stale request. Asking in June: it's almost 2 months waiting and being denied again. Then it was from @ToBeFree:. I can't be trusted. I was here for 15 years. 17 more precisely. Even from the very beginning: 2001. I can't believe it, you are doing this to me, to deny when I am in the first 10,000 probably in number of edits and in my view, for myself: my contributions stand and are undeniable. OK. I won't crawl and beg to be permitted again. I just can't believe it that you are denying me. Tears. No words. Goodbye, Wikipedia. Regards: Elan Morin Tedronai (talk)

Request reason:

Can I be radmited back to Wikipedia considering my contributions and achievements so far? I know I've made mistakes, but it's been 2 years almost and I hope that I can prove myself worthy and contributing. I think that there's more I can do and still more I can contribute here in English Wikipedia. I don't think I will get insta reblock like before as time has passed. I know I've made mistakes in copyright, resources and image right, but I don't think I will jeopardize my future staying. I will make casual constructive edits with edit summaries, but rarely as I have other projets in life. I just want to be able to edit like before, since I have done a lot and still can do but with more casual and careful approach, while realising and appologizing for my mistakes. I'm qualified librarian and even have (had) pending rights. Administrators can see that I have contributions and achievements. I know I haven't edited much other Wikipedias or in Bulgarian, but I have done some Fandom occasionally. Please, readmit me back, Dear Administrators in English Wikipedia, considering my achievements and contributions and probably for sheer goodness and good faith. My Work in English Wikipedia is one of my greatest personal achievements. I like to make substantial edits and have done a lot to the music artists, particular literary genres and overal literary and music topics (less philosophy, although I'm qualified). Please, readmit me back to English Wikipedia, Dear Administrators. There's still more I can prove. Regards: Elan Morin Tedronai (talk)

Decline reason:

In 2021, you were given instructions on how to be unblocked. Once again, you've refused to follow them and have made the same promises that you always do, including when you went right back to violating copyright and adding unsourced content. I think this is enough times you've been given the opportunity to show that you can follow instructions. If you can't follow the instructions given to you on this page, we have no assurance that you can follow Wikipedia's policies. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 16:25, 14 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.

Email

edit

I received an unsolicited email through the 'Email this user' function from this user requesting assistance to help unblock them. First, I am not an admin. There're limits to what I can do here. Second, there is a clear appeal path, in this case the Unblock Ticket Request System since your talk page access is also revoked. Third, the email did not address the underlying reasons of the block, which does not give me the confidence in advocating for you. Please do not email me on this matter further as there's nothing much that I can do to assist in unblocking anyone here. Thank you. – robertsky (talk) 05:58, 6 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
