US roads
Hello, this a just a quick note to say are you sure all these roads you keep adding are notable? Every single one could be created without fear of deletion, right? Sir Rcsprinter, Bt (post) @ 22:57, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
- Either an actual article or (probably more preferably for Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads) a redirect for each road could be made. There are editors there that are better for this sort of thing than I am, so I am asking other editors to help out. Dashes
You seem to have mixed up the difference between the two types of dashes. There is the en dash (–) and the em dash (—). The article titles of those redirects you created should be using en dashes. Imzadi 1979 → 03:16, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
- Oops. I think you may be right. Can you give me an example of how I should correctly type out a title of a bannered route page? Also, what should be done with the redirects that I have already made? I don't want to make any double redirects. I want to correct my mistakes in this "issue". - Fredddie, only the "Insert" section has any dashes/hyphens (there are actually 2). Which one do I use to put in the title of a page? I used the longer one, but Imzadi told me that was the wrong one. I want to do this correctly, but I can't do more until I figure out how to type the title in the search bar (to be able to start a new article/redirect). US 64
Any reason why you changed "route" to "loop" for the Arkansas business routes in this diff on US 64? They aren't called loops by citizens or AHTD and some of them don't even "loop" (e.g. Parkin and Wynne on your diff), hence the usage of "route". Brandonrush Woo pig sooie! 00:17, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
- Brandonrush is right, these should be business routes, not loops. They're only considered business loops on Interstates, and I'm not even sure it's 100% of the time then. TCN7JM 00:24, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
