Speedy deletion nomination of File:Presiden Sukarno dyk.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:Presiden Sukarno dyk.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Request or query about DYKcheck

Hi, would it be a monumental task to put this script on the toolserver such that we could enter the name of a page and use? ~ R.T.G 01:47, 16 November 2014 (UTC)

That wouldn't be easy. Likely the script would have to be rewritten in another programming language. If someone else would like to try though, the source code is visible to everyone. Shubinator (talk) 07:16, 16 November 2014 (UTC)

IPv6 credits

Hi, DYKUpdateBot doesn't recognize IPv6 addresses (the example address is a valid one). The bot has previously issued credits to IPv4 addresses. Credits for IPs don't appear very frequently, so this obviously is not a high priority issue, but I thought you should know about it. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 09:44, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

DYK Check comes and goes from the Toolbox

Hi Shubinator,

As I write this, DYK Check is not appearing in the toolbox. Not for the first time in recent memory, either. It seems to drift in and out. Wondering what is up on that. — Maile (talk) 00:52, 18 December 2014 (UTC)

DYKCheck is only enabled in the article and user namespaces, plus Template talk:Did you know. Does it consistently appear when you're in those namespaces? Shubinator (talk) 05:54, 18 December 2014 (UTC)

I'm just talking about articles. It was always just automatically in my Toolbox when I pulled up an article. I've had the script in my modern .js for years. Thinking that might be the problem, this morning I deleted it from the modern .jr and put it in my common .js For the time being, anyhow, that seems to have resolved this issue. — Maile (talk) 13:17, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
