Disambiguation link notification for April 1
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cody Rhodes and Goldust, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Booker T (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

GA review
Hi FairyTailRocks. I thank you for your offer. I'll be blunt with you because that's what I'm like. I'm feeling quite apprehensive on reviewing your article. Firstly, I've never done a GA review before. Secondly, I don't exactly think too highly about your article. I have roughly skimmed through it, problem 1: most of "Early years and confrontations" shouldn't even belong in the article. Problem 2: sourcing, too much reliance on primary sources (WWE), unreliable sources such as PW Mania and Bleacher Report. Problem 3: too much week-by-week information. The article is too detailed, there is some unimportant info lying around like Dusty hitting Ambrose with a bionic elbow. I assure you that even if I do agree to review it, I will be quite ruthless in cutting unimportant and poorly sourced info.
One question for you. Have you reviewed a GA before? Lastly, you might want to consider contacting Wrestlinglover, he's the experienced one. starship.paint "YES!" 12:51, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
- Okay FairyTailRocks, you see, I am actually supposed to be working on WrestleMania XXX now. There are a few sections in need of work such as the Event section, the Reception section and the Aftermath section. Only after I've got them all up to date, then I'll be 'free'. Right now, I'm doing a mass image uploading to Wikipedia. So consider that I'm postponing my response until these two tasks are done. See whether you can find a reviewer in the meantime. starship.paint "YES!" 12:47, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
- Saw you deleted the entire "Early years and confrontations". Upon further reflection I was a bit wrong. What could be included: when Dustin Rhodes started working on the WWE: 1990, then mention he was on-and-off with the company (with sources). Then, when Cody Rhodes debuted on the main roster, 2007. Royal Rumble mentions (2009 and 2013) are fine, as was the wedding. starship.paint "YES!" 01:45, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
- There are some free photos from ohhsnap_me's set but none are very good in featuring either. 1, 2, 3, 4. Or. you can check out miguel_discart's set - which is not free at the moment. Any you like? starship.paint "YES!" 12:32, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
- Are photos at Mania absolutely necessary? I uploaded the current lead picture of Goludst which was taken one or two days after Mania. Also see this photo of Cody taken at the same time. I thought we have enough Big Show pics? He looks the same as always! starship.paint "YES!" 15:46, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

I would be I feel I'd be a bit biased against it since I already have a view that it has several issues. Plus I am currently swamped with college. Trying to get 3 majors really takes all my time away. Maybe some other time.--WillC 18:44, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
Your GA nomination of Global F.C.
The article Global F.C. you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Global F.C. for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of TonyTheTiger -- TonyTheTiger (talk) 08:01, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
- I stand behind my decision to fail the article for the reasons stated above and the sometimes subpar prose. A sentence like "Dan Palami is the chief executive officer of the company was eventually hire as the owner of Global." is ungrammatical with one subject and three awkwardly strewn verbs.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 15:06, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
- Hi FairyTailRocks, as I suggested to you when I last reviewed one of your GANs, you may want to seek a third-party copyedit from the guild. There were similar prose issues in Football in the Philippines. Go Phightins! 18:33, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
- I copy edited it, but there was a sufficient amount of prose added after the copy edit for it to fail. Thanks, Matty.007 18:43, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
- I honestly would not be the best judge of whether the copyedit is sufficient. Someone who knows the sport would be a better judge.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 04:40, 17 April 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry, I think you misunderstood me. FairyTailRocks asked me for a copy edit a little while ago, which I did. However, between the copy edit and the GAN, there was material added, enough for the GAN to fail. Thanks, Matty.007 08:36, 17 April 2014 (UTC)

WikiCup 2014 April newsletter
Round 3 of the 2014 WikiCup has just begun; 32 competitors remain. Pool G's Adam Cuerden (submissions) was Round 2's highest scorer, with a large number of featured picture credits. In March/April, he restored star charts from Urania's Mirror, lithographs of various warships (such as SMS Gefion) and assorted other historical media. Second overall was Pool E's Godot13 (submissions), whose featured list Silver certificate (United States) contains dozens of scans of banknotes recently promoted to featured picture status. Third was Pool G's ChrisGualtieri (submissions) who has produced a large number of good articles, many, including Falkner Island, on Connecticut-related topics. Other successful participants included Cliftonian (submissions), who saw three articles (including the top-importance Ian Smith) through featured article candidacies, and Caponer (submissions), who saw three lists (including the beautifully-illustrated list of plantations in West Virginia) through featured list candidacies. High-importance good articles promoted this round include narwhal from Reid, iain james (submissions), tiger from Cwmhiraeth (submissions) and The Lion King from Igordebraga (submissions). We also saw our first featured topic points of the competition, awarded to Czar (submissions) and Red Phoenix (submissions) for their work on the Sega Genesis topic. No points have been claimed so far for good topics or featured portals.
192 was our lowest qualifying score, again showing that this WikiCup is the most competitive ever. In previous years, 123 (2013), 65 (2012), 41 (2011) or 100 (2010) secured a place in Round 3. Pool H was the strongest performer, with all but one of its members advancing, while only the two highest scorers in Pools G and F advanced. At the end of June, 16 users will advance into the semi-finals. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. If you want to help out with the WikiCup, please do your bit to help keep down the review backlogs! Please a while before speedy deletion tagging
Hi, I have recently reverted your nomination for speedy deletion on Smith Foto. This is because the page was very new and you nominated the article for speedy deletion only two minutes after it was created. I feel that this is extremely unfair to the editor creating this page as he does not have the chance to add substantial information to the page so quickly. Please be patient before tagging a page for speedy deletion as it could discourage new users. Thank you. Darylgolden(talk) 10:14, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
Paul Goldschmidt-Clermont deleted
Hi,the article is a copy of a dutch and french version. The original was dutch and accepted by Wikipedia.nl after discussions and many adaptations. The french version (wikipedia.fr) was immediately accepted. I don't understand your fast judgement. This is discouraging and uncomprehensible.A simple search on 'google' on the name of goldschmidt-clermont will help you to found out the importance of this family ( Paul Goldschmidt is the founding father). On a historical point of view: paul goldschmidt-clermont is one of the keypersons of the belgian social security, on the same level as William Beveridge in the UK. Some explanation was useful before deleting. Now it is a spend of time, energy. Brrrrr.Senseraphael (talk) 11:14, 23 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi. I'm future WWE Champion DrewieStewie, and this is a friendly reminder that I edited, on the Cody Rhodes and Goldust page, "The team disbanded at Payback on June 1 when they lost to Rybaxel, with Cody telling Goldust to look for a new partner." back to, "The team disbanded at Payback on June 1 when they lost to Rybaxel, with Cody telling Goldust to look for a new partner after he felt he was the weak link in the team." I felt that this was better than the other version, as it explained more about the dissension. Thanks for your cooperation :)

WikiCup 2014 June newsletter
After an extremely close race, Round 3 is over. 244 points secured a place in Round 4, which is comparable to previous years- 321 was required in 2013, while 243 points were needed in 2012. Pool C's Godot13 (submissions) was the round's highest scorer, mostly due to a 32 featured pictures, including both scans and photographs. Also from Pool C, Casliber (submissions) finished second overall, claiming three featured articles, including the high-importance Grus (constellation). Third place was Pool B's , whose contributions included featured articles Russian battleship Poltava (1894) and Russian battleship Peresvet. Pool C saw the highest number of participants advance, with six out of eight making it to the next round.
The round saw this year's first featured portal, with Sven Manguard (submissions) taking Portal:Literature to featured status. The round also saw the first good topic points, thanks to 12george1 (submissions) and the 2013 Atlantic hurricane season. This means that all content types have been claimed this year. Other contributions of note this round include a featured topic on Maya Angelou's autobiographies from Figureskatingfan (submissions), a good article on the noted Czech footballer Tomáš Rosický from Cloudz679 (submissions) and a now-featured video game screenshot, freely released due to the efforts of Sven Manguard (submissions).
The judges would like to remind participants to update submission pages promptly. This means that content can be checked, and allows those following the competition (including those participating) to keep track of scores effectively. This round has seen discussion about various aspects of the WikiCup's rules and procedures. Those interested in the competition can be assured that formal discussions about how next year's competition will work will be opened shortly, and all are welcome to voice their views then. - Thank you! Sorry I cannot accept the QPQ as complete yet. You need to do a full review, even on a GA article, because DYK requirements are different. You need to say whether the article is objective, neutral and fully referenced, whether the hook is supported by a valid citation, and whether there is copyvio or close paraphrasing. I cannot pass a half-QPQ-review because QPQ is intended to assist the DYK nomination process, and a half-review does not assist us. --Storye book (talk) 17:42, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
