The G4 deletion isn't valid (no existing AfD debate), but whether it's being actively used or not is irrelevant as far as our notability requirements are concerned. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 02:26, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
 • Although a G4 deletion is not appropriate but A7 would apply. So it's not worth restoring. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 03:15, 29 December 2017 (UTC)

I created this article about Cindy Bullens' second album, "Steal the Night", produced by Cindy herself and Mark Doyle that was unknown years ago since 1979 that nobody had before with new information I provided behind that album nobody talked about, so instead of you deleting this article, I suggest you should make improvements to this article, please. Thank you. —88ui7 (talk) 02:35, 29 December 2017 (UTC)

Julia Mora

I strongly believe that the Julia Mora article met Wikipedia criteria of a celebrity. (Celebrity refers to the fame and public attention accorded by the mass media to individuals or groups or, occasionally, animals, but is usually applied to the persons or groups of people (celebrity couples, families, etc.) themselves who receive such a status of fame and attention. Celebrity status is often associated with wealth (commonly referred to as fame and fortune), while fame often provides opportunities to earn revenue.

Successful careers in sports and entertainment are commonly associated with celebrity status,[1][2] while political leaders often become celebrities. People may also become celebrities due to media attention on their lifestyle, wealth, or controversial actions, or for their connection to a famous person.and then click the "Publish changes" button below —2600:8801:2B00:CE0:38CC:B27C:6292:C435 (talk) 04:16, 30 December 2017 (UTC) Julia Mora is indeed a well known tv personality (as described by The National Enquirer" in 2008 and 2017), She meets the criteria also by a connection with Hollywood actor, Erik Estrada. And her claim to fame initiated when she participated in the Miss Universe contest in 1985. I think that the Julia Mora article was deleted too soon. The discussion lasted less than one week and it has strong petitions for keeping. Please, undelete the article. Links and strong sources were submitted and deleted by someone that obviously wanted the article deleted, because he/she had been vandalizing it for years. Thank you

Note: The page was deleted as a result of a deletion debate. Admins will not undelete pages that were deleted with discussion here; go to WP:Deletion review or contact the administrator that closed the deletion debate instead. You clearly have not read WP:Notability, WP:Notability (people), WP:Articles for deletion, or WP:Identifying reliable sources, or you would know that (1) we don't cite scandal rags like the National Enquirer, (2) "notability-by-osmosis" is not considered notability at all, and (3) the AfD was canvassed off-site, and AfD closers are allowed to disregard !votes that make no rational policy-based argument or are evidently being recruited from off-site in an effort to save the article. Even if all of that was abided by, the debate closed as redirect as opposed to delete; the entire history of the previous article remains in the history so even if there wasn't an AfD there would still be nothing that can be done on this page because there is nothing to undelete in the first place. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 05:59, 30 December 2017 (UTC)

Also ping User:John from Idegon who tried to nominate this for deletion before. Hut 8.5 16:29, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
I nominated it for deletion due to the issues you mentioned, Hut 8.5. My reasoning is it is better to leave the title without an article than to have it tied up in a non article like it was. I would suggest that Connectnext321 leave it in user space. I'd have preferred leaving the title vacant and let him take it through AfC. But it was your decision and you made it, so what can we do now? John from Idegon (talk) 21:26, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
Actually, both of you...I am going to boldly move the title to Draft. That's what we have draftspace for, ya? I absolutely do not understand why an empty article would be restored to mainspace, especially since it is still essentially empty 5 hours later. There was never any substantial content and I think we need something more than an infobox before it should be in mainspace. John from Idegon (talk) 21:31, 31 December 2017 (UTC)

Drone Detector

This is not an advertisement as claimed by the deleting administrator it is a legitimate entry about the company and the main product in an emerging industry. Saying "Drone Detector" (a registered trademark) is an ad is tantamount to saying "Kleenex" [1] is an ad. Nine point nine nine times out of ten any newer user or anon claiming an article about a company is "a legitimate entry" is defending what they know is a blatant SEO attempt. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 22:09, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
Another indicator of promotional intent, is an obsession with the fact that the subject has obtained a trademark. It is possible that an actual impartial article could be written about this firm; but the deleted content was not that article. --Orange Mike | Talk 22:49, 1 January 2018 (UTC)

Good morning, This article was marked for speedy deletion by Bishonen on 12/30 for promotional reasons. I have accepted the suggested changes of my user name (new username: Diego Antolini) in order to meet Wikipedia's criteria, so I would like to have the draft restored in order to make the necessary changes into the article to meet the Wikipedia criteria. I understand that the article was not yet reviewed by Wikipedia administrators as it was only in the form of a draft and I hadn't submitted it for review at the time of the block. I have spent hours in uploading the material and wouldn't want to have to start the article from zero. I hope you can accommodate my request. Thanks. Diego Antolini —Diego Antolini (talk) 07:40, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

@Diego Antolini: I can e-mail the content to you, but I don't think this organization meets our notability guideline for organizations at all. Unless if you can provide some reliable secondary sources, I am inclined to reject this request. Alex Shih (talk) 08:12, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

Good morning Alex, The X-Plan Group has written in 5 national magazines (with 2 of them, NEXUS and PUNTO ZERO, the collaboration is ongoing), has been mentioned in several newspapers's articles in Italy, has been mentioned by one article in Argentina, has been hosted in a series of 9 Radio Interviews in Central Italy, and has been invited to talk at International Conferences such as the San Marino Symposium of Ufology. The Group has worked as Regional Representative for the C.U.N. (National Ufology Center) for 5 years, has published two books in Italy (one under my name and one under the name of the three founders), and contributed with an article in two more books in Italy. The X-Plan Group will be mention in a book authored by an Italian photographer living in London for its contribution to the study and research in the "fringe" sciences. Would this be sufficient to meet Wikipedia Notability Guidelines? Of course I can provide links to all of the above if it can help, but please advise whether I can post the links here or just finis my final draft of the page with all reference and submit to you administrators for final review. Thanks a lot for helping me, I strongly believe TXP can be a valid contribution to the Wikipedia Project. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Diego Antolini (talkcontribs) 15:27, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

No. We don't cite anything the subject has written/said, anything that has been put out on the subject's behalf, quotables, name-drops, or proxies of the subject. Everything you describe above falls into one of those categories. We also do not accept "notability-by-osmosis". You need to show that the X-Plan Group has been written about in some depth by multiple third-party sources that have no connection, direct or indirect, to the subject. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 23:45, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

On 3rd January my page disappeared and I followed all the steps to get it back. Now I am sending a message here and hopefully I will have this issue resolve. Rich Manley

The article was deleted due to inactivity and inadequate changes. The stagnant period was due to a change in publicist duties, however, the page for the actor Rich Manley is back on track and ready for updates with continued activity in the entertainment industry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Abeseth (talkcontribs) 17:27, 7 January 2018 (UTC)

  Not done for now. @Abeseth:
Concerning the main space article. The article was deleted as a result of a deletion discussion. We don't overturn deletions that were deleted via a discussion (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rich Manley) unless new information has come to light.
Concerning the AFC draft: We also don't restore articles at the request of undisclosed paid editors. See WP:PAID and comply with it before you try anything else on Wikipedia, then let me know when you have done that, or post a new request here. ~Anachronist (talk) 20:41, 7 January 2018 (UTC)

Virendrasingh.jnu: The original deletion ws here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sunny Dhiman. I have re-checked, and newer version I deleted did not meet the objections raised at the AfD. I point our that though both articles called him a "leader" and you say he's the public face, according to the material provided he lost the election for the presidency of the student organization. I'm not at all sure we could justify an article even if he were the President of it--seethe afd--but I don;t see the point of even trying when he didn't. DGG ( talk ) 18:40, 8 January 2018 (UTC)

Page was deleted suddenly without warning or discussion with no opportunity to revise the page. Reason for deletion G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion: —Kazbah99 (talk) 00:33, 7 January 2018 (UTC)

Note: This page was deleted under speedy deletion criterion G11, indicating an page that was irredeemably promotional or blatant advertising. Note that G11 deletions are more an issue with the tone of the page as opposed to its sources or formatting. As articles deleted under G11 need to be rewritten from scratch, they will not be undeleted as-is here; try contacting the deleting administrator (Athaenara (talk · contribs)). Alternatively, you may request the page be restored as a draft or to have the contents of its last known revision emailed to you provided you have email enabled in your account's preferences.
@Athaenara: Your deletion rationale points to three user talk pages with absolutely no information on the page in question as "see also" pages; was this intentional or an autofill blunder? —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 04:58, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
Usually (but not always) what's pertinent is self-evident on user talk pages which I link in deletion summaries. In this case, it's not, but can be found in those users' deleted contributions which are visible only to those with the requisite administrator permissions.
Users Suzo oz (talk · contribs) and Kazbah99 (talk · contribs) wrote most of the page. User Pianolover46 (talk · contribs) added an external link to his/her website; that user's talk page has several messages about what we on wikipedia call link-spamming.
I won't go on the warpath after anyone who restores it and/or puts it in draft space for de-spamming, but I won't play handmaiden to such an effort either. – Athaenara 13:29, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
I see. I think pointing to their userpages and leaving a note to look at their deleted contributions in the deletion notice would have made things a little clearer than just pointing to the talk pages. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 18:16, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
You know what would be cool? a shortcut with many fewer characters than Special:DeletedContributions/Username, so a comment like "Delcon/user1 and Delcon/user2 wrote it, Delcon/user3 linkspammed it" would fit in the deletion summary field. – Athaenara 22:44, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
Well, it's unlikely the community would ever accept a main space title Delcon. I just tried creating a redirect WP:DELCON with a subpage name transcluded to redirect to Special:DeletedContributions/SUBPAGENAME but it didn't work. Might be able to do it with a template like username but it wouldn't be clickable in edit summaries. ~Anachronist (talk) 23:39, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
Or a template, e.g. "user1 and user2 wrote it, user3 linkspammed it". I don't know the technical requisites of such things, I'm only capable of imagining a shortcut could exist. – Athaenara 00:08, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
Templates don't function in summaries. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 00:37, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
Or Special:Delcon/user. – Athaenara 00:51, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
A difference of 13 characters matters that much? ~Anachronist (talk) 22:31, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
Considering the limited space in block/edit summaries and the fact that the deletion rationale pointed to three different users, 13 characters/name would have made a significant difference between a viable summary and one that was cut-off. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 07:09, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

Draft:3CX

I, Chrystalla3CX, request the undeletion of this draft or Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please restore the page as I intend to work on it. Chrystalla3CX (talk) 13:01, 9 January 2018 (UTC) 3Cx is a well established company and we are still working on having the article approved. Our last draft, in our opinion, did not include promotional material but we are working on the contact to comply with Wikipedia's guidelines. We would like to continue with this. —Chrystalla3CX (talk) 13:03, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

 • I will note, however, that it is very difficult for companies to pass WP:NCORP - it's actually quite common for even million or billion dollar companies to fail because they haven't received coverage in the right media outlets. Part of the reason for this is that there are a lot of media outlets that will allow companies to purchase articles to be written about them or will just reprint press releases - these are seen as primary or unreliable sources, generally. Also be careful of industry awards, as very few of them are considered to be notable on Wikipedia. Generally speaking, if the award itself doesn't have an article on Wikipedia, it's unlikely to be notable. Sometimes an award can be notable if the organization presenting it is extremely notable, but even then there are very specific things to be careful about. (IE, like an organization awarding its own members) Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 14:19, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

@Jéské Couriano: I do, will they be able to email me the talk page as well? --Wikigenstein (talk) 08:44, 7 January 2018 (UTC)

Jonathan S. Wolfson

I am Jonathan S. Wolfson and would like to maintain my wikipedia page. I was planning on making edits to the page to update some of my biographical information and noticed it was deleted. I read the deletion criteria and I am not sure why the article was deleted in the first place —67.188.156.102 (talk) 20:53, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

Note: The page was deleted as a result of a deletion debate. Admins will not undelete pages that were deleted with discussion here; go to WP:Deletion review or contact the administrator that closed the deletion debate instead. In general, we consider writing autobiographical material unacceptable as a form of conflicted editing. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 21:01, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
