Domenic Johansson

I'm requesting an undelete of [Domenic Johansson] for the following reasons:
• The original deletion reason doesn't make sense. The page was deleted for G8 - that's “dependency on a non-existant page”. However, there is no way how this reason could apply to a normal article page.
• I believe the deletion was in error.
• User:INeverCry who deleted the article in 2013 has been banned from all Wikimedia projects for sockpuppetry.
• I consider the subject of the article relevant; I can't tell if the content of the article meets WP quality standards but it can be improved once it's restored.

Cash-flow return on investment

From a quick search for sources it seems that cash flow return on investment (CFROI) is a common term in accounting terminology that easily meets GNG. The PROD argument that the term should not be in an encyclopedia because it is only found "in a [sic] economics book" is flawed. Actually the requestors contributions were undone and revision deleted with this comment: "Remove nauseated, cloying gooey content before". Another editor thought it was advertising. China's Four Most Handsome Men (7)

It was deleted under grounds that it was based on unfounded info, however a quick search on Google would show that there is indeed a consensus on these 4 handsome men of ancient China. The Chinese encyclopedia Baike (http://www.baike.com/wiki/%E5%8F%A4%E4%BB%A3%E5%9B%9B%E5%A4%A7%E7%BE%8E%E7%94%B7) clearly lists these 4 men. Why is the page for men deleted and not the women? Both articles were properly sourced with historical information backing it up. It seems like the decision to delete this page was hasty and quite frankly unwarranted —Fusion20 (talk) 07:13, 13 December 2017 (UTC)

And this must stop. asap.

Grant Macdonald (Silversmiths) Limited

We have been working to get this in-line with Wikipedia policies and are keen to ensure it reads as requested. Grant Macdonald silversmiths are of historical importance (they are mentioned in other Wikipedia articles such as Dresden's Our Lady Church for their work on the dome reconstruction), and have the Royal Warrant for services to HRH Prince of Wales. They produce items for the historically important livery companies of London. We do not want this to be an 'ad' but a factual article to express their history which is part of the tradition of gold and silversmithing in London and globally. @Toomuchfranking: I have moved the article back to Draft:Grant Macdonald (Silversmiths) Limited. Please don't move it to main space yourself. Because you apparently have a WP:Conflict of interest, the correct procedure is not for you to decide unilaterally that your article should be published in main space, but rather to submit it for review. Draft space is the only place where a COI editor can make substantive changes — and moving a draft to main space constitutes a substantive change. You may click on the button at the top of the draft to do that.
Furthermore, there is no way to "ensure it reads as requested" because Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that anyone can edit. Articles are protected only if they experience disruptive editing or content disputes. If you want complete editorial control over the content, you need to publish it somewhere else, not on Wikipedia. ~Anachronist (talk) 19:21, 13 December 2017 (UTC)

I think this page was fine as it was, please undelete this page! There was no profanity, and the content is quite useful and interesting when it comes to Chinese History. There is already a Four Beauties page on China's four most beautiful women, so there should also be a page for men. Just because Template:PD-PolishGov exists, does not convince me, but if the Polish government claims this on their web site, perhaps you can prove that it applies to the content. Surely when considering the deletion of an article it would be appropriate to see if editors who regularly and consistently edit articles about related subjects (in this case acting, british television, situation comedies) rate this as a suitable article for WP. What seems to have happened here is that no-one in the deletion debates has those skills. WP is not perfect, but in this case the The Wisdom of Crowds\wisdom of crowds has not worked. Did you read the deletion debate at all? All that matters is whether Wikipedia's core inclusion criteria (WP:Notability and/or WP:NACTOR in this case) are met. On 16 December somebody removed it from the article where it was being used (Kuruvi) and replaced it with another one.
