Sitush (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I have found myself stymied by the inability to access Project MUSE on numerous occasions, and have occasionally resorted to WP:RX as a means to resolve it but feel very guilty about doing so because of the licensing issues. I've been the major contributor to various FAs and GAs but a lot of what I do goes under the radar, being stuff that hovers close to GA standard but not to my own personal standards because I am aware that other stuff exists, often at MUSE itself. Buffaboy (talk · contribs) I am active in reviewing content regarding U.S. Cities and states, especially New York State. The last few months, I have been working very hard to turn Utica, New York from what I and many other observers felt was a messy, decrepit article into what I would now describe as a WP:GA. One issue I had with working on this article and also reviewing Fort Wayne, Indiana, was that my research could only go so far with paywalls and copyright issues. I attempted to use services from my school, which were just as limited as a typical Google search. I noticed Project MUSE had some of the critical works I cited in the Utica article, so I believe this project can serve as a useful asset instead of a constant liability in my quest to better these articles. @NegMawon: I've double-checked my preferences on both enwp and zhwp, no problems at receiving emails from other users. According to my past experiences, I've successfully received mails from other editors (though all from zhwp). In case that you have difficulties for using the email function in zhwp, here's my suggestions: Clear the preloaded title on the first field (named 「主旨」) first, and substitute it with anything preferred. Then compose the email in the field immediately below the aforementioned field. Upon completion you can just click the button at the bottom (named 「寄出」) and send it. Usually when it is an important mail, I'll read it immediately, so don't need to worry that I won't read the mail. I'm at 398 edits as of today, but those edits have had a large impact: 5 new articles and substantial improvements (more than 20 percent) to several others. The limitation I'm facing is access to quality sourcing: Project MUSE is particularly useful for editing topics on women's issues from a sociological perspective. I'd like access Project MUSE to help me improve articles on women, Japan, and music (and sometimes combinations of the three). I understand if you'd prefer me to wait for the next 100 edits, but access would be very helpful in improving the articles I'm already developing, and in creating and expanding existing articles sooner rather than later. Last March and April, I added significant content to articles about the last battles of the American Civil War and Appomattox Campaign. I have a number of articles on history and biography topics in process and intend to concentrate more on content contribution this year. I have been doing a large amount of review work, checking new edits and reverting vandalism. Even in that work, I sometimes check questionable edits to history articles, in particular. I add citations if edits which I think should be checked are valid or if citation needed tags are placed on edits which appear to be accurate. I have noticed that Project Muse has a large amount of history and biography content, which would be especially useful to me.
