Let's have a tea!

Nice to have a tea with you in this Teahouse branch, with the main branch opened in 2007 at the Chinese Wikipedia. In the history of the main branch, there are nice words, but also awful rhetorics. The former were kept as they were not meant to flatter, while the latter are removed unless they are constructive. The same rules applies here.

It is recommended to have a read of this essay before you leave a message here. Discussions on Wikipedia (for instance, discussions on revisions I've made and promotions) are welcomed, but are subjected to Regulations (on the right side). If you wish to leave a message here, please click the "New Section" button (Vector skin)/ "+" button (Monobook skin) or just start a new section immediately below the last message. Feel free to tell me where should I make a reply. Otherwise, if you are the one who start the discussion or an IP user, I will reply there. If I am the one who starts the talk, I will reply in your own talk page. As same as the main branch, all discussions here (Welcome messages excluded) will be archived if there are 51 sections. If your discussions are archived and you want to continue the discussion, just take the section out, put it at bottom of the page and continue.

Please read the Regulations carefully before any messages are left to see what is (not) acceptable here. Offenders will be ignored and their messages will be thrown into the litter box. Please sign when you leave a message for reference, and signatures will be added if the message is unsigned. For this, objections are not allowed.

Isn't it a pleasure to have a sincere talk and collaborative efforts for Wikipedia with Ladies and Gentlemen? It would be nice if everyone gets it.

Yours sincerely,

Leung Chung-ming

Regulations

  1. Discussions concerning Wikipedia are allowed. No restrictions on length of messages, and I will have a read on it as soon as possible.
  2. Editions of comments/signature from anyone besides you are unallowed (except if it is allowed in the Talkpage Guidelines). Offenders will be warned at first, then I may seek for assistance if such behaviour is continuing.
  3. Rights are reserved for me to throw messages categorized as below into the litter box without further reply or notifications:
    1. Any comments which violates the policies and guidelines of Wikipedia.
    2. Regular notifications (e.g. notices for article deletion).
    3. Nonsense, barnstars I rejected (not necessary to be spams) and any comments regarded as provocative.
    4. Any comments regarded as insult and defamation.
    5. Satire on my political, social and economic views. (Constructive discussions not counted)
    6. Any requests unreasonable and not in line with the common practice.
  4. I have the right to decide whether I will follow up your request. I will do my best for help if I promise to lend a helping hand.
  5. Vote-rigging and calls for participation of certain activities are allowed, though it is not okay to post it twice or more. Rights are reserved to have it appear in the litter box.
  6. Please read my comments carefully before reply. No points of satire can be made from that, otherwise such messages will be removed to the litter box.

A belated welcome! edit

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, 春卷柯南. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Chris Troutman (talk) 09:18, 15 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Nguyễn Văn An edit

Hi Leung,

I noticed that you removed this image from two articles with the edit summary, "Even if it's fine in Commons, it may not be the same person as CPV said that the person introduced here was in USSR or Hanoi when the picture is taken." I don't understand your objection. The copyright information on the Commons appears to check out well, so there shouldn't be any copyright issues on Wikipedia either. Are you doubting whether or not the image is of Nguyễn Văn An?

19th CC edit

Thanks for all your work at the CC article - can you please just make sure that the alternate members are listed in the number of votes received, not by "surname stroke order"? That is the typical practice. Colipon+(Talk) 17:35, 26 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Colipon: Thanks - when I prepare for informations of the alternate members I followed this list and listed them according to votes received, then surname stroke order (if they received same amount of votes.) --Spring Roll Conan ( Talk · Contributions ) 08:44, 27 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
The list still appears incomplete. Colipon+(Talk) 14:54, 27 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Colipon: Sorry for delay - just finished. Proofreading is welcome. --Spring Roll Conan ( Talk · Contributions ) 16:19, 27 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi, noting that your edit-a-thon invitation links to the wrong Meta page (114 instead of 115). Jc86035 (talk) 11:51, 16 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
