Congratulations on your successful request for adminship. I am glad you passed, and you are welcome for the support. For information on using your new tools, see the school for new admins; you will find it very useful. Good luck! Acalamari 17:09, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Sorry that I didn't come back to support your RfA after I left the neutral comment. As you can see from my contributions, I've been almost absent from Wikipedia for the past three or four weeks, which is very uncommon for me. I meant to alter my vote after you replied. Hope you won't hold it against me, and congratulations on running the gauntlet successfully. (^^)b Dekimasuよ! 02:40, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
You're welcome. Congratulations on your promotion. Best of luck with an adminship life, which I see you've started out very well already. Regards, - PeaceNT (talk) 20:04, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Dallas Road Walking Club

I am very disappointed indeed that without comment or the decency of a reply you appear to have summarily deleted the article I had carefully begun to write about the Dallas Road Walking Club. An apparenlty self-appointed editor should not have this power. Moreover, the help page comment about significance did not make sense to me (I am not an idiot (I have an M.A. and a tested 140+ I.Q.).

Re: Adminship

Believe it or not, you are the second person to suggest I become an admin, though I believe I'll give about the same response I did before. I, personally, do not think I am suited to the job, and do not believe I could make it even if I thought I was. Being an admin means being heavily tied to the bureaucracy of Wiki, and I tend to stay away from all that because of all the red tape. I'm just a lowly editor who looks after some 500 anime/manga related articles on my watchlist, and even that's really narrow since most potential admins have to have a broad coverage in not only main space but project space as well, such as at WP:AFD or working on the WP:GA, WP:FA, or WP:FLC processes (and by that I mean reviewing said articles, not necessarily nominating any). Not only all that, but as an admin, I am under the impression that certain things are expected, like generally looking into WP:AN/I and other boards where admins are needed, and of course solving conflict disputes, protecting pages from edit wars, warning editors or potential bands, and overall being a roll model for the community for other editors to follow the example of. When you get right down to it, I'm just here to edit articles. Yes, it would be nice to be an admin, but I don't think I'd be a good one, at least not now. I've been on Wiki for nearly two years and have never seriously considered going to WP:RFA, but I think that's mainly due to realizing all the things required in order to be promoted, and the fact that once you are promoted you have to do many things an admin should do or else you lose the possession if you are "inactive" in your admin duties, or so I've come to realize. But thanks anyway for the suggestion.-- 07:09, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

That's cool, thanks for restoring it. I don't know anything about the subject but it looks like it's been broadcasted (and thus gained notability) since the original AFD. --W.marsh 21:31, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi. You moved the reception section in Wolf's Rain below the media, however the Anime and Manga MOS shows it as belong above the media. That's why I had them in that order, so I'm curious as to why you felt they needed to be switched? Collectonian (talk) 05:04, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

G12

Hi. The author of an article you deleted has been at my page leaving long & rambly notes in some evident confusion over who did what. I've figured out that s/he came upon me when I deleted the talk page a few days later. Anyway, while trying to figure out what was up here, I noticed that you had deleted the article as a G12 and just wanted to note that this is the rare speedy criterion that requires notification of the author of the policy being violated. {{Db-copyvio}} reminds us to check that, but the text is small, and in this case it seems the article had not been tagged for that anyway. :) You run into a lot of these where the author has not been notified. I've created my own template for the purpose at User:Moonriddengirl/carticle. Anyway, this is just an FYI. Hope you're doing well. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:45, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

FAC Re

Hello. I did realise this; cheers for responding to my comments. I've refrained from supporting basically because of the plot only, otherwise, it would have my full support. I've done the same at the Halo 3 FAC. I know it's been trimmed slightly, but just needs to be shorter and maybe have a different approach, in my opinion, that is. Ashnard Talk Contribs 17:14, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Another problem I have is that a character will be briefly explained in the plot, even though all of the overview of characters on the characters is in the character section; so this add-on explanation in the plot seems redundant. Thanks. Ashnard Talk Contribs 19:16, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

List of Castlevania titles

Congratulations on the Sorrow characters FL and on the Adminship. You've been busy as of late. Well, if you have some free time, I was wondering if you can take a quick look at List of Castlevania titles. I think it's about ready for FL, but I worry that some of the naming conventions for platforms and games is not entirely consistent. Any input or suggestions you may have would be appreciated. (Guyinblack25 talk 15:51, 24 January 2008 (UTC))

On the topic of Castlevania, I was thinking of something...if we merge Simon Belmont, Dracula, and Alucards articles to the main character list, and then get the character list to FL, we would have a featured Castlevania characters topic! Thoughts? Judgesurreal777 (talk) 01:14, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Well that's why I wanted to ask you, as I assume you would have the best sense of what is notable, what isn't, and what could potentially be created. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 03:11, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Am I correct that if we get Alucard (Castlevania) to GA status, the Castlevania: Sorrow Series Featured Topic will be ready for nomination? Because currently, there are two FA's, with the current nomination probably 3 soon, and then Alucard and Soma Cruz as GA's. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 04:14, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Late gratz from the puppy

Congratulations. Here are what pass for words of wisdom from the puppy:
  1. Remember you will always protect the wrong version.
  2. Remember you must always follow the rules, except for when you ignore them. You will always pick the wrong one to do. (See #5)
  3. Remember to assume good faith and not bite. Remember that when you are applying these principles most diligently, you are probably dealing with a troll.
  4. Use the block ability sparingly. Enjoy the insults you receive when you do block.
  5. Remember when you make these errors, someone will be more than happy to point them out to you in dazzling clarity and descriptive terminology.
  6. and finally, Remember to contact me if you ever need assistance, and I will do what I am able.
