Your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Laurențiu Brănescu

Gentlemen, if you feel the need to insult one another, please do it on you own time. AfD is to be dispassionate evaluation of the merits of the article in question. I don't want this discussion degenerating into a shouting match. Is that understood? (note: I have left the same comment at User talk:Juve10). Sir Sputnik (talk) 18:14, 9 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Danilo Tomić

The article Danilo Tomić has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Request to take part in a survey

Hi there. I would very much appreciate it if you could spend ~2 minutes and take a short survey - a project trying to understand why the most active Wikipedia contributors (such as yourself) may reduce their activity, or retire. I sent you an email with details, if you did not get it please send me a wikiemail, so that I can send you an email with the survey questions. I would very much appreciate your cooperation, as you are among the most active Wikipedia editors who show a pattern of reduced activity, and thus your response would be extremely valuable. Thanks! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 12:59, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Matthew hk. Please check your email; you've got mail!
It may take a few minutes from the time the email is sent for it to show up in your inbox. You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{You've got mail}} or {{ygm}} template.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Jaguares de Chiapas.png)

Thanks for uploading File:Jaguares de Chiapas.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 15:07, 29 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

A reference problem

Hi! Some users have been working hard on Category:Pages with broken reference names.

In this edit, you added a new reference ref name="Italian" but didn't define it. I removed the refs. Since then, this has been showing as an error at the bottom of the article. I know it's been a few time, but can you take a look and work out what you were trying to do? Thanks --Frze > talk 21:55, 17 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Fernando Marqués

Hello from Portugal MHK,

The reference you added to this player's article can say what it wants, but his last name is MARTÍN not MARTÍNEZ. It was an error from the Italian website, please leave it be as it now stands.

Thank you, happy work --AL (talk) 00:59, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

It just a minor information of the players, despite it is quite interesting that Lega Serie A, CONI, FIGC and Parma all refer him as Martinez, probably Parma submitted a wrong name to the league and then a chain of cross reference, or he really Martinez. Matthew_hk tc 10:03, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

No my friend, you can trust me 100% here, he is MARTÍN. Here is another source, Spanish like the player (http://www.renaldinhos.com/2009/07/jose-fernando-marques-martin.html). --AL (talk) 13:45, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
