Kieran Richardson

Be careful with what you remove: You removed [[Category:West Bromwich Albion F.C. players|Richardson, Kieran]] when you thought it was [[Category:West Ham F.C. players|Richardson, Kieran]] from Kieran Richardson.

That said, welcome to Wikipedia, and continue editing. x42bn6 Talk 09:09, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

Edits in the Zinedine Zidane article

You reverted the spelling of the first name of footballer Zinedine Zidane to "Zinédine" in the article. If you had read the discussion page on the article before doing so, you would have found sources which prove that the correct spelling is without the accent. Please don't revert this back to the incorrect spelling. Mr. Zidane has spoken about this recently in the French Journal "L'Équipe". Musikfabrik 18:34, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

Sunday Times Rich List

Republic of Ireland is not a part of the UK anymore, nor is Hong Kong, for that matter.

Leave the list alone, and try to improve your writing skills in English, because what you wrote: (the original list is INCLUDED Republic of Ireland, just correct and state the list is UK plus Ireland is ok, no need to remove all Irish) is incomprehensible and incoherent.

Thanks. 216.194.0.105 04:53, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Copyright problem fixed

Hi, I rewrote the part that was under possible copyright problems in the Nuno Assis article. The new version is in Nuno Assis/Temp. --JoaoCastro 18:02, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

I further edited that page and only now realized where most of the original text came from!! I only had added the part about him being suspended due to doping... Anyway, I think it now avoids the copyright issues and, with your link, cites a source so I removed the NPOV and unreferenced tags as well. Do you think it can be re-instated?--JoaoCastro 05:17, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

S.P.A.L. Calcio

Hi! Do you have proofs of the name change from Spal 1907 to S.P.A.L. Calcio? CapPixel 12:02, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I understand that the Euro is one of the most appropriate currencies. Because it is appropriateness that counts according to the Wikipedia policy. However, appropriateness is a result of personal views. Thus the Euro is appropriate from the Continental point of view, the Pound from the British point of view. The lev is appropriate where I give the info that he is the most expensive BG ever. --Cryout 16:02, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

Your Italian teams edits

Hi, Matthew, I've seen several edits made by you on some Italian team squads. I ask you not to include these updates before the start of the next season, as they would not be effective before that time. Instead, you can include them in a "Transfers" paragraph, as I did in articles about Internazionale Milano F.C. and A.C. Milan. Neither the Italian Serie A teams can actually be known for now, so it's nonsense to "update" team squads. Thank you. --Angelo 22:59, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

Nelson Marcos

I have redirected Nélson Augusto Tomar Marcos to Nélson Marcos without merging any of the content, I hope that will suffice. The copyvio in the history isn't generally regarded as a problem. Conscious 15:48, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

Yoann Folly

Hi,

Are you sure that Yoann Folly was born in Paris? The Sheffield Wednesday match day programme states that he was born in Togo. Where did you get your information from?

I'm not sure where he was born, some websites state Togo, some Paris! Dan1980 15:46, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

Serbia and Montenegro sqaud

Ahh yes. I didn't notice that No. 16 was missing, it wasn't obvious. So not seeing Dušan Petković's name I sssumed that it was still showing the original player and did a quick search for "Vu" and got the wrong bloke. Sorry. Jooler 20:06, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

Spanish Brazilian and Brazilian Spanish

Denilson, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo.... etc were born in Brazil of spanish descent, the ancestry in first place, and the mainly nationality in second place, therefore are spanish-brazilians.

Greetings.

You dont convince me.

Go to the next category Category:Italian-Brazilians, some are demonstrated that they are Italian?

Equal. Greetings.

Yes. yes. Stop. You are vandalising.

I will warn to the administrator if you dont stop.

Go you the next category: Category:Italian-Brazilians

Present me the documents who attest that they are of italian ancestry. OK?

Equal with the spanish case. It is identified with the surname, etc.

In the next category:Category:Spanish-Brazilians:

  • Spanish:the descent, ancestry or second natiolity.
  • Brazilian:the mainly nationality or bith place.

OK? OK? Stop you of vandalising.

Marcos Senna

Dear Matthew, unfortunately, the Spanish site is wrong. All the other football sites say the opposite. Check this UOL profile, for instance. And Yahoo Sports, Eurosport etc all say the right info (São Paulo). Actually, the affirmation that he was born in Rio is far innacurate, you just have to look at the clubs he played since his childhood, their´re all from the São Paulo area. I live 400 km from São Paulo, and he played for my club in 99-00. best regards, Carloseduardo 11:12, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
