Edit War regards Andrade Vasco to Cadiz

Hi Matthew hk

Just need to know what is the best way to show that Andrade is moving to Cadiz in July 2008. On CBF.com.br website and on netvasco.com.br Andrade has been removed from both squad lists. Is this because he has already moved?

Feel free to change again if you wish but there must be something to show he has moved or will be moving?

Year links in articles

Do you think year links, e.g. 1989 are useful in articles? I noticed you recently readded the 2008 link into the Danijel Subotić article. I don't believe it adds any value. Cloudz679 (talk) 08:04, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Have a look on Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers), when remove the link of the year from full date (1 january, 2008 to 1 January, 2008), you will disable the auto-formating. New Project

Myself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active.

If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. Reverting my work, why?

Since August 2007, when you accused me of inserting defamatory info to JOHN MOSQUERA's article, we had not have contact. I left you a message, telling i did not do anything in his (or any page) page and asking for a comment, an apology, but got no asnwer.

Sometimes, i have the intention of leaving WIKIPEDIA, because of the vandalism there is, but i stay and work for the good of the site. However, i noticed that, 2 or 3 times, especially with WENDER (Brazilian footballer), you reverted my hard work, with good external links replaced. I know this is about team work, but somethings are strange.

Still don't know what happened with this edit war with you and me, but one thing is CERTAIN: i write to you, to try to resolve things (maybe it is just a misunderstanding), and, after 5 of 6 messages to you (including this one, and you understand the words, as i saw in your page your level of English is good), you tell me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Regarding WENDER (brazilian footballer) article, i will explain, AGAIN, my changes: I inserted a link (zerozero.pt) which includes stats for ALL seasons, while you had another (www.lpfp.pt) that was too big, as it was "FOUR SEASONS - FOUR LINKS". No disrespect for your work, but i think my link was better.

That is the end, i see you don't like talking to me for reasons i don't know of (not very nice and polite), so this is also my last message to you. If i see any of my edits (which i believe were good) reverted, i will revert them back immediately, as i did with WENDER.

WP:HAU has a new format

Due to popular demand, HAU has a new look. Since the changes are so dramatic, I may have made some mistakes when translating the data. Please take a look at WP:HAU/AS and make sure your checkmarks are in the right place and feel free to add or remove some. There is a new feature, SoxBot V, a recently approved bot, automatically updates your online/offline status based on the length of time since your last edit. To allow SoxBot V to do this, you'll need to copy [[Category:Wikipedians who use StatusBot]] to your userpage. Well, yes, I meant the history of the article, and there is nothing concerning his leaving, thus I'm adding him again, I regularly get any info regarding Armenian players, so if one changes his club I also make changes on wiki, he took part in the last match (cup final). WP:HAU

Hello yet again. I regretfully inform you that the bot we were using to update the user status at Wikipedia:Highly Active Users, SoxBot V, was blocked for its constant updating. With this bot out of operation, a patch is in the works. Until that patch is reviewed and accepted by the developers, some options have been presented to use as workarounds: 1) Qui monobook (not available in Internet Explorer); 2) User:Hersfold/StatusTemplate; 3) Manually updating User:StatusBot/Status/USERNAME; or 4) Not worry about it and wait for the patch to go through, which hopefully won't take long. Years in Yugoslavia

Please read the result of Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2008_May_26#Year_in_Serbia. There was no consensus to create categories such as Category:2002 in FR Yugoslavia so I am now going to delete them. You might as well stop wasting your time creating any more. Category:West Asian football biography stubs

Matthew, I wish you'd propose new stub types at WP:WSS/P! we've talked about this before and I've told you that any mistakes cause extra work, like when you make categories or templates with names not in line with stub-sorting standards. You've done so again with Category:West Asian football biography stubs- all other similar stub categories use the for Category:Middle East..., so this has gone to WP:SFD. It would save a lot of work if you propose these things - not doing so can be disruptive, and it's counterproductive having to go back to fix your mistakes. Grutness...wha? 23:23, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

I don't understand

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Abdoulay Konko. The only thing I edited was Abdoulay Konko's current club (Sevilla, as you may already have read). I don't think it's controversial nor defamatory, because it is official.
