Argentine-Italian-Argentine

Just a not about your tagging on Argentine football players. Say for instance Attilio Demaria. He has Italian ancestors, so he is 'Italian-Argentine'. But then he adquired Italian citizenship, what makes him also Argentine-Italian. Same goes for Maxi López, Diego Dominguez, and several other Argentine sportspersons who adquired Italian citizenship based on his ancestors. Mariano(t/c) 08:44, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Serie B players

Sorry if that's not a good category, I'm personally trying to start making some pages for more serie B players, but delete my new serie b cat as soon as you want. In that case, should I make a subcategory on Category:Serie A players for former serie a players? This would be a little bit easier right now than having one for current players. KingPenguin 14:03, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Never mind, I see what you're saying now, I'll start a new subcat for current serie a players and add some old ones to the main article now. KingPenguin 14:10, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Non-notable players

Dear Matthew, I've seen you created articles regarding several minor players, such as Domenico Criscito and Federico Piovaccari. I must inform you they could be submitted for deletion, since they have a very lack of notability (never played to Serie A, by the way). You may discuss the issue on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/Notability, if you don't agree with it. I think they are non-notable. --Angelo 10:12, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Robert Huth

I edited the page for Robert Huth as you claimed he was already a Middlesbrough player. Well I would just like to point out that the deal was not done, and now they have pulled out and he is still a Chelsea player. Next time, please check the facts. Relegation Madness

What should we do on these new current serie a and b categories for the recently relegated teams Juventus, Lazio, and Fiorentina? It appears they will play in the serie b next year, but they're also somewhat unlikely to stay at their respective clubs (at least in Juventus' case). What current category should these players be in? KingPenguin 21:33, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

Maltagliati & Sartor

Roberto Maltagliati is currently playing for Spezia Calcio 1906, recently promoted to Serie B. I'll make an article for him later. About Luigi Sartor, he played in Hungary for MFC Sopron until last June, now he should be without a team. --Angelo 23:26, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

Is it copy righted if I ask the website permission to use their information? Abreuzinho 20:36, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Football

You make some very good contributions here. I noticed the article Football at the 1996 Summer Olympics - Men's team squads and I'm willing to help finish it if you have any sources. Cheers, Punkmorten 09:07, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

New footy-bio stubs

I see that there are now stubs for Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, but I can't see one for Australia.--Runcorn 11:43, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Barbosa

You should source it and add that bit about the passport to the article. Mad Jack 08:00, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Vieira

I know but BBC reports things in pounds so I figured I should put it there for people that live in England.

You left the above message on my talk page. I have no idea what you meant by it. Can you explain... --It's simple, really simple.... 23:08, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Chiumiento

Sorry, I already reverted the changes I did, as I said, I only checked the Juventus team on their official website, not the call-ups for the Napoli game. --- Tha Eastsydah 17:21, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

Retired numbers in football (soccer)

Marc-Vivien Foé's 23 is offically retired by Manchester City, the squadlist on the back of match programmes states "23 - Retired in remberance of Marc-Vivien Foe". Oldelpaso 13:07, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
