Hi Amanda J Heath, an article needs inline citations to be considered for inclusion and meet notability standards so I would recommend inserting them into Draft:Michael Holmes Jr. There should be a "cite" tool available on the editor, and by clicking on it you can fill in details and create a citation. Placenames

Hallo, I see that you moved a sandbox article into Draft:Pac (village). You might like to have a look at WP:PLACEDAB: we disambiguate placenames by a wider placename, so I've moved this article (which another editor moved into mainspace) to Pac, Albania. I think we only use "(village)" etc if we need to distinguish between two or more places of same name and location but different status, eg a constituency, council area, village, etc. Thanks. Hi PBLB, I declined your submission because, for inclusion in the encyclopedia, a subject should fit WP:BIO which means significant coverage in multiple sources, and by the references in your article the subject doesn't appear to meet that quite yet. An article might be published in another wikipedia but that doesn't mean that it is notable by default (and may not meet notability criteria there). Hi Liance. Thank you for reviewing my first attempt at a Wikipedia Page - I think I'm getting there slowly! I have just edited the draft on 'Population Data Science' so will await further comments in due course.

In the meantime, can you please help with a quick question? I have been inserting hyperlinks on a few words to link to other Wikipedia pages. However, when I preview the content, it is removing some of the words. For example 'personal data' is showing as just data, and 'record linkage' is showing as just linkage. I am using the full terminology when inserting the hyperlink so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. If you have any suggestions I'd be really grateful. Many thanks

Hi Liace. Thank you for evaluating the draft about Giovanni Dall'Orto. I think Dall'Orto is encyclopedic because he is a historian known internationally. He also did a lot of things that I didn't put on the page simply because... I'm not able to write it in English. He was the first Italian (but perhaps the first European) to write a book about AIDS, his history books have been translated into several languages, he is also quite well known as a photographer. The sources I used are not his web pages, they are by William Armstrong Percy III, Wikipink (a gay wiki encyclopedia) and googlescholar (where, by the way, he has an H index of 10, quite high considered the particular topic). There would be many other external sources that speak of him, but for laziness or incapacity I have not entered them; however there are numerous books, including English or American ones, like this one or this one. However, it is present on the Spanish Wikipedia (it wasn't I who put the page there), another sign of encyclopedicity. Hi Simpa2000, all wiki articles (especially those biographical in nature) need multiple reliable, secondary, and independent sources in order to establish notability - I rejected your draft because the sources you provided did not meet such criteria. Wikis and user-contributed sites, as well as search engine results, do not demonstrate notability and are not adequate for establishing that. Provided sources should also be independent of the subject (not owned by the subject or affiliated with them in any way). Boy & Dragon

Hi there. You may be expecting this to come. Sorry if it bothers you but I'd just like to discuss the issue for improvement of draft. I recently created Boy & Dragon and I know it's kind of stub. Normally animations and cartoon do not receive that much of media coverage as other genres do. That's why I mentioned Animal Mechanicals and Brum (TV series) to get a clear idea how do things work in this category. Hi Mtennysdotter - welcome! I see that since my review more references that include significant coverage have been added, which have been greatly helpful in establishing notability. At the time of review, I felt that not enough reliable references were added - for example, IMDb is not considered a reliable source, and some of the references did not include significant coverage. Fats Domino recordings

Hello, Why you renamed this page from "Fats Domino Recordings" to "List of Fats Domino Studio Recordings"?

1. There are not only studio recordings, buth both studio and live ones, please look at entire article.
2. This is not only a list (titles only), but a session-o-graphy and discography of first release of each listed recording.

Hi there, I felt that re-naming the article to a "list" was appropriate because the article primarily listed out recordings - additional information about each recording is appreciated, but does not change the fact that it a list per wiki standards despite additional table information (see Wikipedia:Stand-alone lists). Hi Malini Bhandaru, I took a look at the draft. However, I noticed that nearly all (except one or two) sources with coverage directly related to Dirk Hohndel were interviews - these generally don't satisfy the requirements of being independent of the subject (which is criteria needed to satisfy notability for people. I have added 3 more references to notable blogs in English. The problem is, I don't think there are many references in encyclopedias and science magazines about Balkan cuisine. This dish is neither controversial, nor widely spread around the world - it is just a beloved local dish tourists and locals eat around here. So many people around the world know what a Banitsa pastry is, or Tripe soup, yet look at the wikipedia pages on those subjects and there are no more reliable references than the ones I've provided - food blogs and local literature, something translated to English at best. My point is, I can dig up 50 more references for this stub article, and all food blogs and local cooking shows, but it will get ridiculous.

Also, is it common for a topic to be on disambiguation page, but to lack notoriety to have an article? - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mish_Mash

Hi Redstoneprime - regardless of how 'well-known' a company is for inclusion the draft must demonstrate this by showing significant indepth coverage via multiple independent reliable sources (WP:CORP) - user contributed sources and those linked to the subject (WildEarth in this case) do not qualify, so this would include youtube, twitch, the company website itself, etc. Overall I felt that more indepth coverage was needed for this to be demonstrated. Recent decline

prior to submitting my content, I did look through most if not all the pertinent material Wiki has on inclusion. I did not include multiple sources (see below) because the article would look busy in the draft format Wiki uses. Mlcastellanos - these sources should be cited in the draft article via inline citations, as they are the only way a subject can establish notability on wikipedia. College of Health, Yamfo

Criteria in Wikipedia should be established objectively. Compliance should not be the opinion of one person.

CoHY is growing as rapidly as any college in my locale. Program offerings and courses will grow. Within a lifetime, CoHY is likely to become a university. In principle CoHY is as notable as many other institutions having articles. But how is notability established? With contemporary electronic communications there is no hardcopy newspaper with a story about CoHY.

Please have a look at the article about Douglas College. The references to Global News and to the Vancouver Sun give blank pages. Those references are effectively dead. The last reference is to a Province of BC page addressing accreditation of institutions in general; no mention of Douglas College. The other references are internal. The Douglas College article really doesn't have references satisfying notability criteria. Many similar examples exist and I don't mean to criticize the DC article in particular. The only way I see to satisfy notability honestly is for the institution to have faculty who publish notable scholarly work. Work which is published in scientific and other journals and can be cited. PeterEasthope, please read up on the Wikipedia notability guidelines which require articles to be supported by reliable sources in secondary, independent publications - currently your draft reflects none of this and cannot be accepted in this form. If your subject is "as notable as many other institutions having articles" then sources must be provided to show this, otherwise that notability does not exist by Wikipedia standards. Douglas College is easily notable, there is no such thing as a "dead reference" (in that case most news articles published in the past would be considered dead, which is absurd) and Google easily brings up many more reliable sources. I think the content of the page is reasonable, but there is a bit of redundancy because I list some of his important publications, and then some of them also show up in the reference section. Kingdom of Jeypore

Hello Liance,

There is a problem in the page (Kingdom of Jeypore). For the past three months one user is constantly deleting and editing our work. In the beginning he deleted most of the research saying that the evidence is from sources of British Raj. Due to the neglect this area is facing from the Indian and state government since 1947, there are not enough books written on the history of the dynasty but still we tried our best and provided a lot of modern and relevant references to support our article.

However the last two paragraphs under post titlular ruler has one reference from the Times of India newspaper that mentions the coronation of the new titular king of the dynasty. But this user called Rexxx deletes it every time saying it’s unreliable. How is a big sensational news of this kind can be considered unreliable. We have many newspapers mentioning the event and we are ready to provide to whomsoever if required. But pleas please ask this man to stop editing because he is creating a bit unhealthy atmosphere and not letting us concentrate on making this article better. So You Declined My Draft For List Of Shapes And Said It Already Exists As List Of 2D Geometric Shapes Which Is Fair Enough But It Seems Like A Big List Of Just Shapes Not Any Types Well There Are Types Of Triangles. I was informed that you have moved to Draft: NFLOW. However, when I click the Draft: NFLOW to edit, the title is changed to Draft: Nflow. The title should be in all capital letters either "NFLOW," or "E8IGHT NFLOW." Please give me the advice to change the Draft title. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Hey Liance, I've wanted to discuss a few things with you, if you're open for them. First of all; After reading the guidelines and other articles on wiki, I must agree that GET as a seperate article has indeed not been notably in the news yet and therefore, should not have its own article until that happens. My original plan was to create a page for GET, GET Protocol and GUTS Tickets, so I could link to the earlier articles as a way to seperate information. I have revised that plan since it was clear it didn't fit the wiki guidelines. I have now created a GUTS Tickets article, where GET & GET Protocol are written about as they're part of GUTS Tickets. If you have time, perhaps you could review it; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:GUTS_Tickets. Secondly, I have added the proposed deletion to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Guaranteed_Entrance_Token, as it won't be accepted until it has enough notable sources, but it's unclear if and when this will happen. Jeronemoo Wiki articles often have subsections on related/encompassed topics so yes you could certainly write a section about the related topic and create a redirect to the section. Please note that the criteria at WP:NCORP must be met for your draft article to be accepted - it may be helpful to pick out the WP:THREE best sources to help reviewers when evaluating your article. My next step: SPIN-Farming provided models on how to make money growing food that reduced the amount of land needed to under an acre. This sub-acre scale of farming enabled more people to try farming and helped a lot of food/farming/gardening movements take root beginning in 2006, including urban agriculture, yardsharing, backyard farming, local farming, and sustainable farming. So what I need to do is make that clear and also provide articles or information sources on these various movements as secondary sources under the References area. Is that correct?
