Age vandalism at Sonam Kapoor

Hi, I reverted your edit for two reasons: 1) there is no guideline that prohibits the inclusion of references in the infobox and 2) additional citations make it easier for editors to spot-check age vandalism, by providing quicker access, and making it clear that the data is supported by some reference. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:31, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

Hey, no problem at all! I only removed as it was already referenced in the Early life section but your revert completely makes sense. -- Frankie talk 06:42, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

Archiving link you gave me on my FLC

It doesn't work. I input some different URLs and it just said "Hrm. A link doesn't exist" but it doesn't give an option to archive it. I don't get it lol.  — Calvin999 21:13, 21 March 2016 (UTC)

I don't get it either. :D -- Frankie talk 19:04, 22 March 2016 (UTC)

FLC

Hey! Didn't you get a notification about Raveena Tandon filmography's flc? Your concerns for repeating the same source was resolved. Even Cowlibob gave a thumbs up. I had replaced 10 or so links that's only because its hard, as you know, for old film articles. Most reviews (which are available) don't even mention character names and other stuffs. So I couldn't use them, but still tried my best. Take a look. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Krish! (talkcontribs) 16:42, 20 March 2016

63th National Awards

Hey, I just saw your edit at Kalki Koechlin, I was over the moon on reading the news regarding her win! I was so eager to add it to her article, but you beat me at doing it! XD Thank you for the edit though! Its always nice to see someone else with similar ideas and choices! NumerounovedantTalk 10:20, 28 March 2016 (UTC)

No problem. Received "thank" from two editors for one single edit. :D How's her FAC going? --FrB.TG (talk) 10:24, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
Good to hear people think of her as worthy! XD The FAC is taking some time, with the lack of participants, though I have two supporters. It would take time at this rate to reach a concrete conclusion though. NumerounovedantTalk 11:26, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
Congrats on getting Sonam Kapoor to FA though. Also, she was excellent in Neerja! NumerounovedantTalk 11:27, 28 March 2016 (UTC)

Dahl

A mess? Not at all, as far as I'm concerned any review given in good faith is always worthwhile as it makes me re-look and double check everything, your one for Dahl included. I will get onto the Alts at some point soon. Thanks again for the review: it really is very much appreciated. Cheers - SchroCat (talk) 09:28, 29 March 2016 (UTC)

Thanks, but alt is not necessary. I have been recommended a lot in my FLCs so I have begun to do the same to other editors. ツ FrB.TG (talk) 09:36, 29 March 2016 (UTC)

Your Tweak with Kalki Koechlin

Hey there thank you for all the help with Koechlin FAC, but I saw your recent tweak, saying "the pioneering thing bieng a little too much". I am sorry to say that it's a little disappointing because I think the prose has enough focus on her repeated efforts on changing the gender norms and the fight for gender equality. As for sources for the pioneering part I found these relevant articles, I insist in keeping the part in the lead and you could refer me to any of the following sources you think as appropriate. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] I wasn't sure if I should bring it up at the FAC page because you were associated with the spot check and image review, though if you like this conversation could be moved to the page too. Thank you for the help! NumerounovedantTalk 17:49, 30 March 2016 (UTC)

Alright, you can add that back. Usually this sort of info is looked down upon at FAC. Let's see where it goes. ツ FrB.TG (talk) 18:00, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
Yes I understand your concerns but I see articles like that if Vidya Balan's that have similar ue if prose, so I think it might work here as well. Thank you for all your help though! NumerounovedantTalk 18:06, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
Good luck! Let's hope it is promoted. ツ FrB.TG (talk) 18:09, 30 March 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Is it because of vensatry?? Yashthepunisher (talk) 07:28, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
It's because of Ms Basu, who I like as an icon, but not so much as an actress. And her and Emma Stone's husky voices are somethings that really get me. FrB.TG (talk) 07:47, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
Agree on the voice bit. But, even I never liked Sonam Kapoor, and this flc is just a time-pass for me. Yashthepunisher (talk) 09:39, 17 April 2016 (UTC)

Well I haven't even seen any of Kapoor's films. FrB.TG (talk) 09:41, 17 April 2016 (UTC)

Why did you notify me about Wikipedia:Peer review/Emma Stone/archive1 ?

Was I a past reviewer of the article, at a prior stage of review of some sort, like peer review ?

Because I think you're a good reviewer, but don't comment if you don't like to. FrB.TG (talk) 05:00, 19 April 2016 (UTC)

Ah okay thanks, just curious, no worries ! You're right, at peer review it's okay to notify people like that. Emma Stone

Are you a fan of her? I haven't seen many of her films but I loved her in both Amazing Spider Man films and The Help. In fact she should have been nominated for an Academy Award for her role in the latter. The Help is one of my favorite films. It is so powerful that I had cried while watching everytime. With amazing performances by Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Jessica Chastain, Emma Stone, Bryce Dallas Howard, Cicely Tyson, Allison Janney, Aunjanue Ellis, and Ahna O'Reilly, it is sheer brilliance. I think Stone and Howard should have been nominated too and Davis should have won Best Actress. Did you like the film?Krish | Talk 13:39, 19 April 2016 (UTC)

Yes, I do like her and her comic timing is implacable even in films like Superbad, in which her role was not more than 30 minutes. I also like her red hair and husky voice. ♂ FrB.TG (talk) 14:54, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
Have you seen any of Parineeti Chopra's films? She is one amazing actress, if given a chance she can win an EGOT.Krish | Talk 18:38, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, she is one talented actress. I don't see Bollywood films a lot, but I did see her in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, which was a silly film, and she was the only positive thing about the film. FrB.TG (talk) 18:42, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
Yeah! So true. I would like to suggest you to watch her films Ishaqzaade, Shudh Desi Romance and Hasee Toh Phasee. All these films are good and she is exceptional in them. She won a National Award for the first of these, which is not an easy feat considering it was not an art but a true Bollywood romance film. Her raw portrayal of Juliet made the jury to award her. She also gave one of the finest performances in Indian cinema in the latter two films. Do watch these three films and you will know why I said the EGOT thing.Krish | Talk 19:11, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
Sure, but first I need to watch some other Indian films - Bajirao Mastani, Neerja and Eega. FrB.TG (talk) 19:40, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
Okay. You will love Bajirao Mastani, Priyanka Chopra is the heart and soul of the film. Neerja is a taut thriller, and I'm yet to see Eega. After that you make sure you watch Parineeti Chopra's films.  Krish | Talk 19:58, 19 April 2016 (UTC)

Lady Gaga

Hello: The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Lady Gaga has been completed.

I wanted to point out that the "Born This Way Foundation" section needs some updating. It has sentences like "The foundation plans to work..." or "In July 2012, the BTWF partnered with Office Depot, which will donate..." These items need to be confirmed and the verb tenses changed.

I notice that few of the article's URL references are archived. I archived one the article’s citations (#3) and I suggest that you archive the rest of the URLs as time allows. This ensures that the article's references are available "forever" and that it doesn’t develop “dead links” over time. The site I use is https://archive.org/web/. Simply copy the URL in the citation and paste it in the box on the archive.org site and click save. It creates a copy of the original page and provides you with a new url to add to your original citation. If you look at the URL I've archived you'll see the syntax. You add the new url to the end of the original citation like this: |archiveurl= http etc|archivedate=13 February 2015}}. Not all websites allow archiving - CBS TV news and the NY Times are two I've come across, so there's not much you can do about that unless there is an alternate citation you could use.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Kind regards, Twofingered Typist (talk) 20:11, 21 April 2016 (UTC)

Grammy AOTY: 21 vs Lemonade

What do you think about this? I know there is still time but you can't deny 21 was the lock for the 2017 Grammys, until yesterday when Queen B dropped another surprise album. It's the final battle between Adele and Beyonce, even if someone comes up with a better album later this year. I think Beyonce will win AOTY not only just because its the beat Beyonce album, but because its masterful. Though Adele's is the blockbuster smash, the Academy will definitely take care of last two years outrage, awarding Queen B her long overdue price. What do you think?Krish | Talk 10:03, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

I think it's too early to decide the winners in an event that is to take place one year from now. Beyoncé dropped a new album? I didn't know that. FrB.TG (talk) 11:15, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

You didn't know that? Well, the songs are very very different, the sounds are new and its quite an achievement. Check out and then tell.Krish | Talk 12:02, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
Well, it's not available on Spotify or iTunes. I guess I will have to wait. FrB.TG (talk) 12:13, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
It's available on Tidal.Krish | Talk 13:03, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
Dude, Lemonade is noe available on iTunes, go grab your copy or rush to your nearest store. By the way It curenly has a score on 94 on Metacritic. Is this a hint that Queen B is going to win?Krish | Talk 12:25, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
She's already won 20 Grammys. I don't think it will make that of a big difference if she wins or loses. FrB.TG (talk) 13:54, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
But she just have only one award from the top four; Song of the Year. She wasn't even nominated for Best New Artist (neither for Destiny's Child or as a solo artist). Record and Album of the Year are the biggest award, and everyone want her to win both of these. Record of the year is not possible this year for her since all the songs on Lemonade are arty, and it has already "Hello" written all over it. Plus, don't be surprised if she won Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance this year because it has an amazing song of this genre. I bet her album will garner most nominations this year, as the album has a lot of variety ans will surely be nominated in sub-categories.Krish | Talk 14:52, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
Yet for me, a Grammy is a Grammy be that an Album of the Year or Best xx Song. FrB.TG (talk) 16:56, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
