Probable Citogenesis towards 15 Million Units Sales Number edit
Right now this page includes "The Gex series has sold a total of over 15 million copies for all platforms" with this article as it's source, meanwhile I have reason to believe this is a case of citogenesis.
Timeline as I understand it:
- January 26 2010 on this page, a user contributes an unsubstantiated "15 million copies" sales claim without a citation.
- June 23 2011 PlayStation Universe writes an article about Gex, and includes this 15 million copies sales claim also without a source.
- September 26 2015 on this page, a user notices the lack of citation on the 15 million copies sales claim, and adds the Playstation Universe article as the citation for the claim

If anyone can find a reputable source for this claim (from a reliable source, or from before January 26th 2010), that would be useful, because otherwise it seems like this piece of information is baseless. In pink ink (talk) 02:58, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
