This template is not used in any articles. The only thing it does is convert un-hyphenated ISBNs into hyphenated ISBNs. But why? Hyphens in the ISBNs do not matter in WP:Book sources. Let me add that invalid {{Format ISBN}} should be removed – period. If editors cannot find an "actual" ISBN, then posting an invalid Format ISBN does not help. Why? ISBNs seen as properly formated citations will link to Book sources. If we post Format ISBNs, then we only waste time when readers click the invalid Format ISBN and come up with a non-helpful Book source page. Best to simply post a {{ISBN?}} ("ISBN missing") template. – S. Just like the (now blocked for socking) editors other navboxes this seems like a hodgepodge of mildly related pieces of media in an attempt to create a franchise. If all the nonsense was cut like I've done with the other ones it would probably only have 2 to 4 articles, max. ★Trekker (talk) 01:15, 11 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
