Your contributed article, List of national symbols of India

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, List of national symbols of India. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - National symbols of India. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at National symbols of India - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Ravendrop 02:44, 10 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Zain Khan

This is an automated message from VWBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Zain Khan, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.chakpak.com/celebrity/zain-khan/37541.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) VWBot (talk) 11:05, 10 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

You did not ask a question, but if it was about the flagging of your article as a copyright violation, see Wikipedia:Copy-paste for the reasons why you must not copy material into Wikipedia. In any case, material written for other purposes is often unsuitable for an encyclopedia article, being too promotional in tone; and a copy of a single website will not be enough to show notability, which requires "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." There is good advice at WP:Your first article. JohnCD (talk) 14:35, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

User page

Hey Vaibhav, welcome to Wikipedia! I saw the note on my talk page. Unfortunately, I do not know how to beautify user pages (beyond what is done at mine). However, you can see some of the ways to beautify your userpage (by adding tabs, etc) at the user page design center. Hope it helps. If you cannot figure it out, leave me another note, and I will ask another editor who is experienced with this to help out. Regards, Yes Michael?Talk 14:37, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hey Vaibhav, well, if you'd notice the kind of material you added, they were kinda promotional. Like "second best school in ..." and stuff like that. Remember to back your additions by a reliable source. Then you should be fine. Have a good day! Yes Michael?Talk 11:51, 13 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Userboxes

Glad to see you have discovered one of the 'fun' parts of wikipedia, like userboxes. However, I advise you not to put up misleading userboxes, like the ones which say you are an Online Ambassador, or a Reviewer, or a Rollbacker. If you already have the rights, only then is it advisable to put it up. Regards, Yes Michael?Talk 12:03, 13 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Zain Khan

The article Zain Khan has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. First of all you would need to learn a whole lot about Wikipedia, become a trusted member of the community, participate in many administration tasks, etc before applying. See:

Hope this helps. It is good to aspire for admin status if that is what you want but I would advise you to first of all read and learn about Wikipedia policies so that you are a successful editor before you request for admin status. AshLin (talk) 12:01, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of RewardVille

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on RewardVille requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Feezo (Talk) 11:41, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Wiki techniques

Vaibhav,

There are somethings you are not aware about but need to learn to contribute fruitfully and efficiently on Wikipedia, First of all, never type in capitals on the net. It is considered as SHOUTING and people who receive your message think you are being rude. In your case you may not mean it but people may not realise that and think that you are being rude to them.

Secondly, after every post, you must add your name and time stamp. It is very easy, Just add four tildes in a row. The tilde is the name of this symbol - "~". When you save it, the software will automatically create the signature and timestamp that you see at the end of everyone's post.

For example, when I type four tildes in a row like this...

~~~~
the moment, I save it, it becomes this...
AshLin (talk) 09:07, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
Coming to your request, when they mean Wikipedia is a "free" encyclopedia, they are talking about "free" as in "freedom of speech" and not as in "free beer". So "nishulk" which you suggested is incorrect. "Azaad" is a better fit though technically it is in Urdu.
For requests of this kind, it would be a good idea for you to post any such requests on this talk page :
Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics
However, for your individual doubts or queries about Wikipedia, feel free to approach me at any time :)
Sanskrit Wikipedia
{{helpme}}
Can you tell me how can I apply to become a administrator on Sanskrit Wikipedia? Vibhijain 12:45, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
First, you need to ask on that wiki - perhaps on the page sa:सम्भाषणम्:मुख्यपृष्ठम् and/or any other pages that you might think appropriate on there (I cannot read the language).
I do notice that it is a 'quiet wiki'...but it is necessary to at least ask. If there is no response after a week, please contact the stewards on Meta wiki, at meta:Steward_requests/Permissions.  Chzz  ►  14:24, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Can you tell me is there any other rights on Sanskrit Wikipedia other than administrator {i.e. rollback, reviewer, etc.
I do not know. However, I can tell you that the best place to check would be on the Sanskrit Wikipedia. My first guess is that they are very similarly structured to the English and other Wikipedias, so, yes, they should have those different rights available. I also have learned that some smaller Wikipedias in other languages tend to be more inclusive -- a much smaller field of contributors, they trust most people who aren't actively disrupting the project. You would probably be able to get those rights on the Sanskrit Wikipedia with some ease, after contacting the right people and demonstrating that you're there to help. The bottom line is, you'd have to check over on the Sanskrit side. Jsharpminor (talk) 20:37, 15 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Request for an Indian Phineas and Ferb community!
Hi Vibhijain, now I'm here to request to you for Indian Phineas and Ferb community.
Are you a real big fan??? A big fan of Phineas and Ferb, that person should be big and "dynamic hot activity" like or bigger than Irving, Irving just made a fansite web, but it "seems" small and knowless to the people in the world of Phineas and Ferb, addition this is a not-real fansite web, it just exits and own by Irving in episodes. But we are real, real with this world, if you are a bif fan and want to help make all the people in all over the world know "more closely" these two "big-idea boys", make "a hot tidal ocean" to you first, make it developing, make it rising on yourself, I think the big fan like you will "explode your admiration to everyone", make them know Phineas and Ferb, know "more closely", this is a real fan's "true big duty". We, the Phineas and Ferb "sister wikis" community which also link closely to 2 creators of Phineas and Ferb, Dan and Zac. Now we currently have Germany (German), Netherlands (Dutch), Spain, Mexico (Spanish), Brazil, Portugal (Portuguese), Poland (Polish), newest member is Vietnamese (founded on April Fool day 2011) and are rising and its license media. We really really welcome and happy if an Indian Hindi Phineas and Ferb community would establish, the Phineas and Ferb wiki in Indian language, please join!
In wikia, these mediawikis, styles, wikimarkup, templates,.... will close to you, you are a wikipedia user, that is an advantage, you will adapt it easily. The activities have many hot spots,... You will feel more free at there, it is your home, your Indian Flynn-Fletcher house. YOu can call your family, your friends, your classmate,... everyone you know, who idol Phineas and Ferb, make them help you, writing at your own language, we and community will chat to you by English, can help you about background, about media... if you call, we will be there, you will be a Indian Phineas and Ferb team leader.
I'm really happy to know you and hope we will be a biggest home Flynn Fletcher ever, together we rising Phineas and Ferb.
Please send back message to me if you accept or refuse, I still want to listen to your thinking and ideas! Welcome!
100 words in your mother tongue
Good day! Could you help me and provide translations for the following 100 basic word in your mother tongue. Not in the standard Hindi but in your native local variety (dialect) if you (used to) speak any (and then indicate please how you call your language /dialect and precise location like state – district – town/village). If there are synonyms or known dialectal variants provide them with comments if possible. Also please indicate if you know that certain words are borrowing. You can fill in right here using either IPA transcription or any other spelling you like (just describe your conventions). Thank you in advance! --Koryakov Yuri (talk) 12:30, 17 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
False positive
Your accusation of vandalism relating to the listing of Leonarda Cianciulli in List of murderers by number of victims appears to be unfounded. - Fayenatic (talk) 18:38, 19 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
