Asian Dragon
editHi, I appreciate your work. Is it possible for a Chinese Dragon supporter to be made? It would be great if the dragon was based on this one: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Coat_of_Arms_of_Edwin,_Baron_Bramall.svg

Indian Royalty
editHi, I saw your great work. Although its a bit challenging I'd appreciate if you could help us out at the South Asian Royal family wikipedia pages. There are more simple coat of arms like to Orakzai/ Nawabs of Bhopal and others a bit more complex like The Rohilla Dynasty and the State of Oudh.
Thanks !!!!

Porcupine as a supporter (or as a device)
editHi! Your work es great! I was wondering if you would like to create porcupines as supporters of royal arms of King Louis XII of France. If you have time and you feel up to, these images can help you as a guide:

Coat of Arms of Victoria
editI was on the wikipedia page of my city and noticed the coat of arms is really outdated, I was wondering if you could remake it, it really needs it and you are the best in the business. Below is the link to the page

For Russia, With Love
editI recently tried to download and deconstruct the existing files of the arms of Kazan and the minor and emperor's arms of the Russian empire, but they proved frustrating to work with, so could you redo them? I have found your vector graphics excellent in quality, but also in ease of deconstruction. 130.85.251.133 (talk) 03:42, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
Dominica!
editThe arms of Dominica presently available on the nation's page on the 'pedia are a small, crappy GIF; do you think, using the existing GIF and image sources from the government of Dominica, that you could SVG-up the arms? 130.85.58.235 (talk) 06:13, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
Supporters?
editI do genuinely admire your work and its quality! However, I find that some of the supporters in your arms, while similarly well-rendered, are not accessible as solo files. Do you think you could make a heraldic antelope, jaguar (such as in Guyana's arms), and natural leopard (not like a lion), all in the rampant position but not such as might support a shield? I would very much appreciate that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.129.125.199 (talk) 21:28, 24 April 2015 (UTC)

Photos/Graphics for Kachin Conflict
editDear Sodacan, I saw that you were interested in Burmese/Thai relations and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind helping to work on some of the Burma/Myanmar Conflict pages (Kachin Conflict or Internal conflict in Burma). These pages have almost no graphics at all and could really use some contributions. There are no images currently on Wiki Commons for these conflicts so it might be tough but it would be greatly appreciated.

Orders of Portugal
editMr. Sodacan,
First off, I must say that your work is absolutely wonderful. I have found that you have created many wonderful heraldic items, and I was wondering if you could create heraldic collars for the orders of Portugal:
I am unaware whether you make only coats of arms and such or whether you also make such accessories. I find that these collars could be useful in creating a well done Portuguese coat of arms as well as for other coat of arms that these collars pertain to.
Thank you, Cristiano Tomás (talk) 22:37, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
Canadian Heralds
editWould you be willing to make SVG files of the badges of the Canadian Heralds. I have hires scans of the artwork for each, but these are not public domain and so I cannot post them on to Wikipedia or Wikicommons. I could however put them on a private webserver for you to download from purely to act as guidance for creating the SVGs, as long as you promise not to distribute the original scans. The resulting SVGs can then be used for the appropriate articles on Wikipedia. You can email me at graham@flags.net so I can arrange to get the scans to you if you are interested in taking on this project. GrahamBartram (talk) 23:28, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

British royalty
edit- Okay I will answer some stuff here, I have thought about all of these before. Some of the arms requested such as those of Sarah Ferguson (use as wife of Prince Andrew from 1986-1996) and Camila Shand (used from 1947-1973) is not particularly notable or useful. Ferguson uses the arms we have now, there is no need to add another, she is not a monarch or a historical enough person to require different versions of her arms, what she uses now is what counts. This is the same for Camilla, women, especially young women don't really bear arms at all, if they do they use those of their father's. Usually in English heraldry a women's armorial bearings only becomes important when she marries and have a husband to impaled the arms with. However these are all valid requests and I am not turning them down, just they are not too high a priority (sorry) :(
- The Canadian request is very interesting, and I have thought about this and have been asked before. However the main issue remaining is copyright, I do not want to spend days drawing something that would then be deleted by an admin because it breaks the law, I need to make sure of this. Furthermore the Canadian Wikipedians are particular about these things and I doubt whether they will ever accept what ever I draw, it would be a shame if I produced something and it is flatly rejected. There are many other countries with no coat of arms or emblem at all. Malawi and Vanuatu does not yet have a high quality rendering, so these and other similar countries are my priority right now. Sodacan (talk) 11:53, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
- All of the requests have been done, either by Sodacan or the other users. Many thanks. Keivan.fTalk 01:48, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

Medieval Norwegian arms
editHi Sodacan. Can you make a svg of these arms? They are the arms of Haakon IV of Norway, drawn by Matthew Paris in the mid 13th century. I'll try and hunt down a sourced blazon for you. I'd like an svg of the shield to put into an infobox.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 08:48, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
- There are apparently two shields for Haakon drawn by Paris. Here they are:
- Chronica Majora - folio 216v - gules, three galleys with dragon heads at each end or, one above the other. (this must the one we've got a picture of)
- Historia Anglorum - folio 150 - gules, three galleys or, above the first a cross formy argent.
The source for these blazons is a book on GoogleBooks: The Art of Matthew Paris in the Chronica Majora, by Suzanne Lewis, University of California Press, 1987, ISBN 9780520049819. The first blazon is found on page 456; the second on page 467. If you could create these that'd be cool. The first one is apparently Haakon's coronation arms.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 09:39, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

National COAs
editHi Sodacan, I was reading your comments about how you were focusing on countries that didn't have high res coat of arms and I wanted to tell you that I thought about this issue too. I made a category on Commons for nations whose coa aren't in svg formats. (Here's the page) I think every country on Wikipedia should at least have a svg version of their national coat of arms. Lozenge
editHello Sodacan,
Not so much a request, more asking for information. Have you ever done a lozenge with a double tressure flory counterflory as in Royal Scottish or Buchanan? If so can you give me a link?
I am hoping to write a page about Peter Whannell alias Buchanan and his descendants. He matriculated arms in Scotland in 1776 under the name of Whannell alias Buchanan. Or a lion rampant Sable armed and langued Gules between three crescents of the same a double tressure flory counterflory of the second.
All his granddaughters made good marriages and were heraldic heiresses. Can you help me? Kiltpin (talk) 14:50, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

Arms of Benjamin Pingo, York Herald
editHi Sodacan,
is it possible please to vectorise the arms of Benjamin Pingo (1749-1794), Rouge Dragon Pursuivant (1780-1786) and York Herald (1786-94). I am an ancestor of one of his brothers and I am planning to use the arms in a Wikipedia article about him.
If you're happy to do so, the the shield (heater format)only will suffice. (sorry for the size of the photo)
Many thanks.

Arms of the County of Carmarthenshire
editSodacan, Is it possible for you to recreate the coat of arms of Carmarthenshire?
Arms and Crest originally granted 28th August 1935 to the former County Council (abolished 1974). The arms and crest were transferred by Royal Licence to the unitary Carmarthenshire County Council created in 1996, and the supporters and a heraldic badge granted in 1997. The gold lions and indented division are derived from the arms of Rhys ap Tewdwr and his grandson the Lord Rhys. The design is completed by red Welsh dragons. The crest is a Welsh dragon supporting a harp, for Carmarthenshire’s musical traditions. The supporters represent Wales (the dragon) and the sea (the seahorse). They are chained to signify protection and stability.
This is the current one on Wikipedia - File:Carmarthenshire-arms.png as you can see it is quite bad quality and your fantastic art work would greatly improve the wiki for Carmarthenshire.
Thank you so much --Cfnbryn (talk) 19:37, 7 July 2012 (UTC)
Mughal icons and symbols
editI am interested in reforming much of the wikipedia content on the Mughals and the Mughal Empire. And after asking around I have seen that your graphics are the best, so I present the following requests.
For the page on Mughal Emperors, I am wanting to add a svg version of their official seal. I've managed to track down the seal of Shah Jahan in a large picture and would be quite grateful if you could try to make a vector image like that of the Thai Kings you've done. http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Seal-Mughal-emperors-India-Bellin-1752-/00/s/MTYwMFgxMjAw/$%28KGrHqNHJBkE7%29ztiWPdBPC%29Cs6Ft!~~60_57.JPG
A coloured version is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wellcomeimages/2516114718/
Though that one is of his son but the general design of the seals has remained the same.
Also, could this image be vectorized into a heraldic emblem?

COA of Mauritius
editi have some suggestions in order to bring the File:Coat of arms of Mauritius.svg closer to the original version (See [14]), however i don't know if it will be too time consuming and become ugly compare to the actual one. Some of the changes include; make the bottom banner similar to this one here, the stem of the sugar cane, the 3 palm trees and the key as seen here. The most important changes needed is perhaps the colour, the Colour Code can be found here. I would suggest to use some effects for the colour, example; for the gold colour, the effect use on the crown here, or another one here so that it isn't yellow or brown as it is the case at [15] and [16]. Cheers.Kingroyos (talk) 18:45, 27 March 2013 (UTC) I also found some images which could be helpful. [17][18].Kingroyos (talk) 08:44, 28 March 2013 (UTC)

editSodacan your work is legendary and after a day or two trying to teach myself Adobe Illustrator I have an even greater respect for your craft. You have lots of requests here I can see, but if you get the time, the coats of arms for the states and territories of Australia are badly in need of proper vector graphics. They as yet do not even have crisp non-vector images. Since they largely follow the British heraldry traditions they should be right up your alley. editDear Sodocan: The Coat of Arms of the Zorreguieta-family in the Royal Arms (Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands ) is much more different: -> http://www.koninklijkhuis.nl/encyclopedie/monarchie/wapens/wapens-van-leden-van-het-koninklijk-huis --> http://www.leibbrandt.com/leibbrandt_archive/wappen_coat_of_arms/wapen_willem+maxima.jpg /-> http://www.ovkoudekerk.nl/maximama.html (for example, the missing two black animals are wolfs, the trees cypresses (-> http://www.heraldik-wiki.de/index.php/Zypresse_(Heraldik) ), even the ground something like water.) PS: Look at this -> http://heraldicaargentina.blogspot.de/2013/04/escudo-de-la-reina-maxima-de-los-paises.html Would You design a better Coat of Arms, please? (For Maxima, as You can see, the shield must be oval.
Improve graphics and design of the Coat of Arms of Singapore
editHey! Would like to commend your impeccable, flawless works and excellent skills.
Request for you to help change and improve the graphics of the Coat of Arms of Singapore (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Coat_of_arms_of_Singapore_(blazon).svg) of the page of the Republic of Singapore.
Notes: 1. Position and design of the tail of the Lion supporter of the current image is wrong 2. The two stands that the Lion and Tiger supporters step on in the Coat of Arms of Singapore are missing in the current image (1. and 2. in reference to the accurate design of the Coat of Arms of Singapore as seen from accuate depictions: http://www.nationsonline.org/seal/Coat_of_arms_of_Singapore.jpg , http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d0/Golden_coat_of_arms_of_Singapore_(cropped)_-_20081001.jpg , http://www.world-wide-gifts.com/images/large/Singapore-Coat-of-Arms-Fridge-Magnet.jpg) 3. Please do create the new and accurate image in the same type of graphics used in making the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Royal_Coat_of_Arms_of_the_United_Kingdom.svg)

Coats of arms of Canada
editI know you have seen a great many requests for this, but I have to continue in asking. We had an SVG of the current coat of arms here on Wikipedia, but it had limited use because it was non-free. It was just deleted, and now we have a small blurry in it's place. There is an SVG on Commons, but while I'm sure the uploader tried their best it's just not accurate. The only way this will ever be solved is if we have someone with the proper skills create a quality free SVG for use. If there is any way you can take time away from your other things to give us a good image, I would be eternally thankful. The two older versions would be great as well, but I won't push my luck if you don't feel like it. Fry1989 eh? 18:25, 27 June 2013 (UTC)

- I'm afraid I'm still where I was years ago. Sorry Fry! :( But the law is too restrictive in this instance. The 1994 version of the arms was 'branded' and only a single definitive depiction is used, plus the law is clear that derivative changes or unauthorised usage is not allowed. I respect that. What should happen now is that the SVG depiction of the 1994 arms should be re-uploaded under fair use and put back to where it was before, which has been the status quo for years now. As for the two older versions I believe an SVG depiction is possible, since its been fifty years since it was first created. However the: 'used at any time by Canada' part of the law is alarming. I wish I could make the image for Wikipedia to use, and in as many articles as it wants too! And I believe I should be allowed to do it too, since I will not be profiting financially or otherwise and will be drawing the image in good faith. But the law is clear and I respect it, so no I do not believe an alternative is possible in this particular case.
- I commend the user on Commons who created an alternative image, for trying to fill a gap. But I cannot personally support the use of that image in anyway, I have reverted many of his edits to remove it. A national emblem is a symbol of sovereignty for an entire nation, and of the citizen therein. A faithful and purposeful depiction is what they deserve, not a mutilated and cut-up thingamajig. In fact I am embarrassed by it, If I was gonna make an SVG for Canada it would look damn good. I try very hard (a little too hard and taking way too long) to created a national COA, because I want to create something entirely new as a sign of respect for that country. Maybe I am over thinking it but contributing at WIkipedia or at Commons take up my time, I enjoy it, but now I have a job and no longer at Uni. I don't want to spend a long time and a lot of effort on something and then gets it deleted because I was not thorough when reading copyright law, that just sucks. Sodacan (talk) 07:26, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
- There are two versions being used by the Government right now, so there isn't one specific design. I think you could easily do your own thing and it would be free per COM:COA, but if you still don't feel safe I can't pull your arm. Would you at least be willing to do the two historical versions when you have time? I know you have a huge waitlist but.....*rambling nonsense*....anyhow. Thanks for everything you have done (especially Seychelles and Malawi), and I hope to see more of your great work whatever it may be :) Fry1989 eh? 17:00, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Floral Badge of England and Wales
editHello Sodacan,
I've possibly requested this before, but wondered if you would be willing and able to create an SVG version of the heraldic floral badge of England and Wales? It's not well known, but does appear on birth, marriage and death certificates in England and Wales - for instance here. It aptly consists of a rose, daffodil and crown, and would tie in nicely with the fabulous work you have done so far in this area. --Jza84 | Talk 15:21, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
COA Kingdom of Iraq
editHello Sodacan, I see your skills are in high demand - and rightly so as your work looks great. I was going to ask you for a vector of the COA if the Kingdom of Iraq http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Coat_of_arms_of_Kingdom_of_Iraq_(1921%E2%80%931958).png, but I see this request is already on your list. Royal Standard of Norway
editThis one might be a quick one if you have spare time and the interest. Our SVG of the Royal Standard of Norway is a very good design, but it doesn't match the photos/sources perfectly, and because of that I have a Norwegian user trying to edit war and put his own PNG drawings all over projects as he doesn't like the SVG. His drawings are not only in an inferior file format, the design has also been inferior. If there's any way you could update the SVG lion to match the following sources, it would go a great way.
The sources are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Thanks ahead if you accept. Fry1989 eh? 17:29, 4 July 2013 (UTC)
COA Kingdom of Bohemia on Hapsburg COA
editHello Sodacan, checking some of your contributions I scrutinized the COA of the Austria-Hungary Empire (1867-1915) and found the Bohemia COA (on the wings) very good. It is much better than the one which figures now in the page of "Coat of Arms of the Czech Republic" so maybe - since you have this coa already made - you could adjust it for showing it by itself on the mentioned page. Thank you / JanJC 82.161.150.20 (talk) 14:13, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
Ulster Defence Regiment
editI need advice concerning the files File:Cap Badge of the Ulster Defence Regiment.jpg and File:The Badge of the Ulster Defence Regiment.jpg. I am being told by the copyright people that I can only have one instance of use of the former and that the second, whilst not looking like the original, is still a breach of copyright. My problem is that the Ulster Defence Regiment was so large, consisting of 16 battalions in total over 22 years, that it has had to be split into a parent article and a List of battalions and locations of the Ulster Defence Regiment with a page for each battalion. The regiment only had one item of insignia which is the one shown as the cap badge and therefore to properly complete the military info box there is no choice of badges, flashes or tactical insignia. The copyright in question is UK Crown Copyright. Can you shed any light on how I should proceed or can you assist please? SonofSetanta (talk) 16:46, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
Police Scotland
editHi Sodacan
If you've time, could you create an .svg image of the new logo for the Scottish Police Force (Police Scotland).
On the following link the new logo appears, comprising a thistle, surmounted by the Crown of Scotland, overall a gold scroll bearing the motto "SEMPER VIGILO"... beneath which appear the words "POLICE SCOTLAND Keeping people safe"

The image is required for the Police Scotland article.

Coat of Arms (and Flag?) of Kaiser Karl VI (Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation)
editHello Sodacan,
I would like very much to see a colour, vector version of the coat of arms of Kaiser Karl VI. His coat of arms can be found here:
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Wappen_HRR_-_Kaiser_Karl_VI._%28ex._sig%29.svg
For hints as regards the colours, one can use Josef II's arms, here:
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Wappen_Kaiser_Joseph_II._1765_%28Gro%C3%9F%29.png
As for style, your own brilliant rendering of the double-headed eagle of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire goes in more than the right direction:
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Imperial_Coat_of_Arms_of_the_Empire_of_Austria_%281815%29.svg
I also think that Karl VI.'s flag (albeit with the correct eagle in the centre) would be a nice addition to the files here. You can visit the Italian website Flags Online (written as one word) to see an example, or search via Google Picture Search for "Flag Charles VI 1737", choosing the picture entitled sacroromanoimpero.jpg.
Many thanks in advance for all your time and effort, and keep up the fantastic work!
Best wishes,
Norwegian Queen's Crown

A representation of the coat of arms of the Queen does not exist at Commons. This coat of arms is identical with that of the King, but with the Queen's Crown on top.

Capocelli coat of arms
editHello! I've seen the style that you use to paint the coat of arms and I think it's the best. Could you please help me drawing this: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/444/stemmacapocelli2.jpg/ This is the Capocelli's family coat of arms and this is the descriprion: "divided longitudinally into two halves in the right on a red background comes out from the left side arm bent (left Cherio) covered in armor holding a sword with bare hands with the tip pointing upwards while the left half on a blue background and above detached two bands of gold, which extend down from the bottom right to top left, a head, covered by the morion concealed in elevated, uncovered her face and aims at the top left of a gold comet." Edinburgh Coat of Arms
editHi Sodacan, I hope you can help. There is an image of the Edinburgh coat of arms already on Wikipedia, File:Edinburgh-coa.png, but it differs from the one shown and described on the Council's website [here]. Would it be possible to re-draw the official version from the Council website for use on Wikipedia? Coat of Arms Marianne and Louis of Netherlands
editDear Sodocan
Hello, and thank you first of all for changing the shield children of the Queen of the Netherlands.
I do a lot of research on the Kings of Sweden since 1810 (Bernadotte).
I have a question to the royal library of the Netherlands to the crest of the Princess Louise of the Netherlands (1828-1871) future Queen of Sweden-Norway after her marriage with King Charles XV of Sweden.
He told me that the crest was identical to the Coat of Arms of Princess Marianne of the Netherlands with the exeption that it was not in the three pendants but lambel Five pendants.

Polish Coat of Arms
editDear Sodacan,
I must request one thing. Your talent in this area of art in matched by another person on Wikipedia. I am currently creating a new page on Wikipedia for Polish Heraldic Coats of Arms. One of these coats of arms I have attempted to recreate for the purposes of the page, however I am unable to make it look quite as professional as yours. I will attach the link to the coat of arms below. The base upon which the supporters are standing and the crown can be changed for artistic purposes. According to the book that contains this coat of arms, the base of the arms changed from family to family. I hope that you can make it resemble the style of the British Coats of Arms you have drawn. Arms of Edinburgh
editHello!
Unfortunately, there is currently no representation on Wikimedia of the arms of Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh. If you have the time, would you be able to create one? Thanks.
The official blazon is:
Argent, a castle triple-towered and embattled sable, masoned of the first and topped with three fans gules, windows and portcullis shut of the last, situate on a rock proper. On the wreath is set for crest, an anchor wreathed about with a cable all proper. Motto: "Nisi Dominus frustra." Supported on the dexter by a woman, richly attired, with her hair hanging down over her shoulders; and on the sinister by a doe proper.

Duchy of Krumlov and Grand Blason of the House of Schwarzenberg
editHello,
I have two requests to ask you. They both concern the South Bohemian heraldry. There's not been made yet the coat of arms of the Duchy of Krumlov and the grand blason of the House of Schwarzenberg. The arms of the Duchy of Krumlov (cz) are very rare to encounter, nontheless I found a picture here at page 17/123. The description states : five Rosenberg five pelted red roses on a silver field (2,1,2) and in the crest over a helmet with a red and silver manting a silver eagle with the field sign (again five Rosenberg roses). The other request concerns the House of Schwarzenberg. There are many variations of their family crest, but there's not yet a grand versions that you may see here and here or here
I would be very grateful if you made those blasons! You're job is amazing. --Omote229 (talk) 12:50, 10 March 2015 (UTC)

The escarbuncle badge of Henry II of England
editHello. You've made a very useful and attractive series of badges of the Kings of England; however, you've left out the golden escarbuncle used by King Henry II. I'm currently in the midst of expanding the "royal badges of England" article to include the badges of the early Plantagenet monarchs, so it'd be helpful if a depiction of this badge was available. Ulster King of Arms - arms of Sir Arthur Vicars
editSodacan, you do really spectacular work with your illustrations of Coats of Arms - thank you. I have recently discovered just how good your stuff is now that I have added a black and white scan of the arms of Sir Arthur Vicars to his page - it looks dull and utterly uninteresting compared to your work! If you had the time and the inclination, would you be prepared to build on your existing work on Ulster's arms by impaling the Vicars arms alongside? I have never used Inkscape in my life, so apologies if the impaling represents a huge job itself! I have also found another, simpler version of his arms from the title page of his book which I have uploaded to Commons - it shows more clearly a different style for the batons behind the escutcheon which appear to be slenderer than the modern taste and may have Tudor crowns at their heads.

British Royal Coat of Arms (Chivalry)
editGreetings! I love the heraldry work that you've done on Wikipedia and I'm wondering if you could expand it a bit. In particular, I noted these two coats of arms:
-
British Arms with Bath
-
British Arms with Golden Fleece
It is nice to see HM arms adorned with something besides the Order of the Garter. Would you be able to do something similar for the Venerable Order of St John? It would involve adding a chief of the Order's arms to the shield and placing the shield on the badge of the Order (a white Maltese cross). Let me know what you think! I may have some other Order of St John heraldry requests for you, too.--dave-- 19:57, 8 January 2016 (UTC)

editDear Sodocan,
Your work using Inkscape is really something beautiful! I hope you will be willing to lend your attention to the Ming-Ai (London) Association crest. A Catholic chairty working as a faculty of the University of Middlesex, While delivering community projects to the Britsh-Chinese community.
A note of the symbolism of the crest: "The cross and flame, symbolising Christian love, is the logo of Caritas International, the Catholic Federation to which Caritas Hong Kong belongs. The lion symbolises Britain; the dragon, China; the sampan, Hong Kong; the seas, learning without boundary."
The crest included traditional chinese charicters and their translations are as follows 明愛會 - Ming Ai Association 愛是服務 - To Love is to serve

Austria-Hungary Emperor Flag
editHi,
I was looking for a piece of the artwork you created here, I was looking if you had the top crown and tapestry section, unfortunately the eagles heads block part of the tapestry. I want to use it in a project to recreate the Standard Flag of the Emperor but unfortunately the current version that is up, the quality is rather poor. I wanted to use your crown and tapestry to surround your coat of arms on the rather poor flag version. You will receive full credit. Unless you think it will look better if you made it yourself, either way works for me. Email me at rymich14@gmail.com to discuss this further. Thanks --rymich13 (talk) 14:09, 27 April 2016 (UTC)

Likewise the Fife princesses, who received their titles from their grandfather Edward VII. I notice you've done Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg (Queen of Spain) but I would love also to see the British arms of the children of Princess Helena of the United Kingdom and of the other children of Princess Beatrice of the United Kingdom, as well as the Fife princesses if you find the time to do them at some point. Canadian Navy SVG ranks
editBonjour, monsieur! I noticed you've been making SVG Canadian Forces ranks lately. Could you make these ones into SVG as well? Vertical and horizontal too, if you'd please. Merci beaucoup, mon ami! – Illegitimate Barrister (talk • contribs), 06:02, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
P.S. I saw your SVG Canadian Navy ranks for seamen, chiefs, and petty officers, and shouldn't they have the yellow "CANADA" text on the bottom of them? (See here for photo of real thing) Or has that since been removed? – Illegitimate Barrister (talk • contribs), 09:28, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
- Hello! Because of the different types of uniform that the Canadian armed forces use, the rank insignias differs accordingly. In the example photo above the Chief Petty Officer 1st class is wearing a 'battle dress', the ranks are in the form of slides on the shoulder (like these). While on a formal 'dress uniform' the insignia is on the sleeves instead (for example on this Chief Petty Officer 1st class. I have based all of my Canadian rank images on the Canadian Forces Website: Navy, Army and Air Force. It's safe to assume that they base their images on the dress uniform rank type. The Canadian rank insignias has been going through a lot of changes lately, it is difficult to keep track. I have no problem uploading the shoulder slides if you would like them. Arms of Sir Arthur Vicars as Ulster - my attempt based on your work!
editI've had my first (no doubt rather amateurish) go at Inkscape, and this is the result:
Since 99.999% of this is not mine but rather your excellent work, I didn't think I should publish it without letting you know that something not up to your standards is out there based on your work! Vector Call for Excellent Heralder

On the whole internet is only this incorrectly executed vector small Coat of arms of Czechoslovakia: . Czechoslovak community would be very honored if it would be improved closest to the constitutional version. I founded best picture here: https://spravnydizajn.files.wordpress.com/2012/09/znak-csr-19200001.jpg . It is also element of middle lion in Large Coat of arms of Czechoslovakia: http://www.3athlon.com/republique_tchecoslovaque/znak_prvni_ceskoslovenske_republiky.jpg (The two edge lions are slightly different correctly done here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Greater_coat_of_arms_of_Czechoslovakia_(1918-1938_and_1945-1961).svg ). and also same motive is on the Middle Coat of arms best picture here: http://www.nacr.cz/sua/vystavy/symboly/gifs/10stred.jpg. Italian Empire
editHello,@Sodacan:! First of all I have to tell you your pictures are wonderful!
I have recently vectorised a raster file depicting the coat of arms of en:Italian East Africa.
-
Raster file
-
Vectorised version
I am completely unsatisfied with the crown however. According to blazoning it should be an "Italian Imperial Crown" even if one was never realised. BTW, I cannot blazon in English, so I will give you a basic description: the crown should have a golden circle with "borders" and 8 rubies and sapphires (5 visible) alternated with 8 en:Savoy knots. It should have 8 "golden bands" closed on top with a curl by a globe surmounted by a cross similar to that of the crown of Savoy. These "bands" should have 8 pearls each (growing bigger from top to bottom) and they should be held by golden eagles and "Savoy shields supported by two golden fascis each" alternated. Between each eagle and "Savoy shield" there should be 3 pearls with that in the middle being bigger than the other two.
Sorry about the terrible description but it is the best I could do, after all you can also look at the raster file.

House of Schwarzenberg - Heraldry Project
editDear Sodacan,
I would like to ask, whether you might be interested to create a new set of coats of arms for the article about the House of Schwarzenberg.
The currently used coats of arms contain a lot of mistakes or are of very low quality. Your wonderful style and attention to detail would be a great contribution, especially as the Schwarzenberg coat of arms is considered to be very challenging. I will include a small gallery of examples and suggestions below.
I look forward to hear back from you.
Kind regards,

Chinese Dragon
editSaw that you uploaded several flag images that include the chinese dragon. You might be aware that WP still lacks a depiction of the pre- 1912 chinese emblem, as seen at at https://archive.org/details/ofmaritimeflagsn00unitrich, p. 14 and 15. Will you also draw it?--Antemister (talk) 09:34, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Sodacan, I'm going to echo with Antemister, but the rounded dragon is not a emblem (as far as I know). This is a common pattern of Chinese dragon called 盘龙.
- This however is a shared element on Qing Dynasty Naval flags (usually on rank flags). Here's a image with better quality(source). I'm working on the historical naval flags of Qing Dynasty and having been trying by myself. Since you have done an excellent job on the yellow dragon flag, I'll appreciate a lot if you can take a look on this and thus these images would be consistent as well. --Ericmetro (talk) 06:58, 14 November 2017 (UTC)

Re: Yorkist Virgin Headed Falcon
editDear Sodacan,
You have created a most compelling image. Do you have a 2-dimensional (i.e., pictorial) primary source? I am aware only of 3-D primary sources, in St George's Chapel, Windsor, Berkshire, and Malvern Priory, Worcestershire.
Incidentally the use of this family badge (attributed to his grandfather, Richard of Conisborough) does not appear to have been used by Richard III after 1471, and I suspect was superseded by the boar some years earlier.

Seal of Andreas Palaiologos
- The whole seal? or just the eagle? How about the colours? --Sodacan (talk) 09:19, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
- The whole seal would be ideal (the book scans being somewhat difficult to read). As they are seals, colorization would probably involve too much guesswork for historical accuracy to be maintained, so preferably not. If you need help with the Greek inscription, feel free to ask. Te escribo para saber si puedes diseñar el escudo de armas de Albert en Queensland, Australia. Te envió el link a la imagen Escudo de Armas de Albert, carece de blasonamiento pero si tiene una descripción en ingles la cual es esta:
I am writing to know if you can design of the coat of arms of Albert en Queensland, Australia. You sent the link to the image, Coat of arms of Albert, it lacks blazoning but if it has a description which is this:
The shield displays a background of gold and green, depicting the close proximity of the Gold Coast with its beaches, and the Shire, with its lush forests and farmlands. The caducaeus, rod of Mercury, God of commerce, and the hammer for industry in general, lie between two heads alluding to the beef and dairy industries. The four bands in the chief symbolize the Shire's Strategic Plan, which when combined with the mural crown of civic authority, speak of the Council's commitment to the future welfare of the Shire.
The colours, black and gold, come from the Saxony arms of Prince Albert, after whom the Shire was named, and refer to industry (black) and resultant wealth (gold).
The kangaroo in the crest identifies the Shire as Australian, while the sugar canes allude to another local industry.
The two dogs commemorate the national origins of two men closely connected with the early history of the district. Captain Patrick Logan was from Berwickshire, Scotland, origin of the Border Collie. The German Shepherd honours Johann Heussler, from Hamburg in Germany.
Perdón por mi mal inglés.

Coat of arms of Rhodesia
editGreetings dear friend. I have a request to add to your lengthy list. I would like to ask if you would be willing to update File:Coat of arms of Rhodesia.svg. The current version is pretty decent but it does have some flaws, especially the mantle and crest, the compartment and motto, and the chief of the shield. If you did your magic, it would be a truly outstanding example. But I will understand if you choose to decline. Thanks. Fry1989 eh? 00:58, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
- @Fry1989: Hello and greetings friend! I had a look at the file and it's good already. - @Sodacan: I'm sorry to bother you again, but you should have separated the older and newer version. Also, in the newer version, all the blue colors look brighter.
- @Jeromi Mikhael: I have separated the files by uploading correct version over the old (top retain the name) and upload a separate historical one (with dates). Both can now be seen at Coat of arms of Seychelles. I can see that the colour scheme is different, but it would take a bit more time to make the new colours more harmonious. The blues will be lighter, also the helmet should be bluish with yellow reflection and the motto ribbon will be redder. Sodacan (talk) 13:24, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

Colonial badge(s) of Newfoundland.
editHello. I would like to request if you would take another look at the colonial badge of Newfoundland from 1870–1904. You previously updated the crown. However I have a new source that appears to corroborate the rather unusual crown shown on the FOTW website. I was doing some digging and came across this website with many historical drawings, and this drawing appears to suggest that crown was correct.
I won't ask you to also do the 1904–1987 badge, I'm sure that's somewhere down on your long list already and the current drawing suffices for now anyway. But this crown I figured would be a rather quick and easy one. Fry1989 eh? 17:50, 26 October 2018 (UTC)

Since Seal of Prince George's County, MD is a reworking of the Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom from 1696, I would like to use some of your elements from your SVF of that coat of arms in a new version of the seal, but I'm not sure how to attribute the elements for something that is going to be on the side a van. A new version of the County Seal by you would be even better, but I would still need to know how to document attribution on the side of a vehicle. Thanks for your consideration! --Exzeteos (talk) 02:19, 17 January 2019 (UTC)
Arms of Mgr. Adamson
editHello Sodacan
I put on Wikipedia Commons a request for Mgr Thomas Adamson's arms to be drawn, which are blazoned : Barry argent and azure three chaplets of roses gules within a bordure vert.
But clearly this needs someone skilled. Qv. Category:Order of Malta in heraldry... there is no need to include a circlet.
Is this something for you?

To design the seated Lion and Sun`
editHi Mr. Sodacan
You designed coat of arms of Imperial Iran and its Lion and Sun.
I wanted to design Medals of Iran and I need seated Lion and Sun. I sure you can design it. Please do it for me. Its original version is [File:Pendant of the Order of the Lion, France, 1840-1860, enameled gold with diamonds, rubies, garnets, and paste - Aga Khan Museum - Toronto, Canada - DSC07109.jpg here].
Let me know you can do it.

Queen Sirikit's Coat of Arms as a member of the Order of the Seraphim
editDear Sodacan,
Now I finally found the Coat of Arms of HM Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother as a member of the Order of the Seraphim. If you have some times, may I asked you for creating the svg version of this arms?
By the way, the arms design is based on the emblem of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 60 anniversaries celebration, it was not originally design for the queen. I think there might have some mistake and confusion happened to the Swedish artist exactly.

Greater coat of arms of Copenhagen
editHi. I was wondering if you could take a look at the greater coat of arms of Copenhagen. Most of it was done in your style and uses some assets from your files. However, not all of it is that way. The compartment (except for the cannon the lions are standing on) does not match the rest of the arms. The armour, helmet, drum, etc. aren't even vector files. they are raster files derived a file called Københavns byvåben 1894.png. Could you complete the arms by replacing the traced elements with your own work? Because most of the work is already done, you can do a smaller amount of work than what is normally needed for a request (and do it quicker too). Any other improvements on it are also welcome. Thanks in advance. --51.37.119.43 (talk) 21:44, 21 October 2019 (UTC)

Haile Selassie standard
editHi, thank you so much for the great work on the collar on the royal standard of Haile Selassie! However, there is just one tiiiny thing more which I would like to request to be modified. That the text on the reverse side be changed to match this:
https://www.greengoldgardens.com/sitebuilder/images/Imperial-Standard-of-Ethiopia-0002-327x192.jpg
since its currently has the same text as the obverse side:

Here is another example to show the difference:

Arms of William Russell, Lord Mayor of London
editDear Sodacan
I have seen your impressive contributions to heraldry.
Unusually in modern times, my friend Lord Mayor Russell is to serve two years as Lord Mayor of London until 2021.
In English heraldry a serving head of a corporate body* may impale its arms with those of his family, thus William's shield is City of London (dexter) impaling Russell (sinister):
Much obliged if you could be so kind as to create an image of Lord Mayor Russell's coat of arms for Wiki use whilst he is still in office?

Pre-1968 Royal Canadian Air Force Ranks
editHello!
First of all, let me say that I think your illustrations of current and former Canadian military rank insignia in a consistent style are fantastic.
My request is for a set of pre-unification RCAF OR rank insignia, ideally in versions with both the Tudor crown and St Edward's crown for WO1, WO2, and FS. I'm working on cleaning up History of the Royal Canadian Air Force#Ranks and uniforms, so your RAF officer ranks are identical to the RCAF ranks (including the uniform colour) but there are some gaps with the NCOs. If you need a reference to work from, I have some scans of the rank illustrations from the 1953 and 1958 editions of the CAP 6 Dress Orders for the Royal Canadian Air Force that I can share.
Keep up your amazing work! Cadet Pilot (talk) 19:38, 28 October 2020 (UTC)

Sir Harry Hylton-Foster
editTwo years ago I made this page and including arms for nearly all the people on it. The lone remaining exception is Sir Harry Hylton-Foster, who died in office and so did not ascend to the peerage. Looking at what photographs I could find of the inside of Speaker's House I never saw his arms, which were always either obscured or out of focus. Recently I discovered these old photographs [[58]] [[59]] which I think might show it. The caption is illegible, but the placement between the arms of Ruffside and Maybray-King means it logically should be Hylton-Foster (though weirdly his and Dunrossil's arms must be the wrong way around). My best guess at the blazon is Azure on a pale Ermine between two seagulls volant fesswise Proper the mace of the House of Commons palewise also Proper. Could you have a go at it? Robin S. Error in design?
editI have been looking at some of your images on Wikipedia. They are amazing. But for the image titled "Arms of Thomson of Fairiehope" the blazon says "Arms: Argent a stag’s head cabossed proper, on a chief wavy gules a crescent between two mullets of the field", but the image shows one star between two crescents. Is that right? 1.136.109.235 (talk) 19:51, 23 May 2021 (UTC)

Lan Xang (Laos) flag
editHi- you do great work. Lan Xang was the historical kingdom that came before Laos, currently the three headed elephant symbol is used -but the early kingdom (pre-1560) would have used a Naga, a crested serpent, symbol-shaped like a W- it can be found on all the coins, weights etc- there isn’t much scholarship out there on it- but I did find one article- and it mentions a flag -p79 https://thesiamsociety.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/JSS_097_0e_Gabel_LaoWeightsLuangSymbol.pdf Black penant- red trim, white Naga- shaped like a W. Also, on the Monarchs of Laos page, there is the three headed elephant symbol (it’s actually the symbol of royal Luang Prabang- not Lan Xang, or Vientiane) if the flag is too difficult, a simple gold Naga would be more appropriate if you could make an image like that. Any help would be a great help to a little studied area- thanks StampyElephant (talk) 01:35, 23 August 2021 (UTC)

Donough MacCarty, 1st Earl of Clancarty
editDear Sodacan. I am trying to prepare the article Donough MacCarty, 1st Earl of Clancarty for an eventual Featured Article review. This article includes an image of the coat of arms (MacCarthy.png) that comes from Wikimedia Commons and was drawn by a Wikimedia user called "Thomas Gun". This same image also appears on other Wikipedia articles that mention the MacCarthy family. It looks to me that the image is not fully compliant with the blazoning (e.g. Burke 1866), which reads "argent, a stag, trippant, gules, attired and unguled, or". I believe that "unguled, or", means that the stag's hooves (French "ongle": nail, hoof) should be golden. Do you agree? Now, on the image the red of the stag's body extends into the hooves and only the antlers are golden. I have tried to fix Thomas Guns's image in Paint, but the result does not look satisfactory. editI sent an inquiry to the College of Arms in regards to if Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor, was ever granted an official coat-of-arms, to which the College responded "no". Another heraldic artist stated in response to this that Wallis Simpson may bear the arms of her husband - Edward, Duke of Windsor - but on a lozenge, rather than shield. However, according to the set of guidelines that were issued by the College of Arms in the 1990s about how women should bear arms: "Whether or not a woman is entitled to paternal arms, she may bear her husband's arms alone on a shield or banner differenced by a small lozenge of a contrasting tincture in the canton, center chief point, or other suitable position, depending on the design." Additionally: "Whether or not a widow is entitled to paternal arms, she may bear her late husband's arms alone on a lozenge, oval or similar vehicle of display (not being an escutcheon or a colourable imitation thereof), or on a banner differenced by a small lozenge." Assuming this is the case, may I submit a request for a SVG of the proposed differentiated arms? Obversa (talk) 01:07, 8 December 2021 (UTC)

Greek Phoenix (1973-1974)
editHello there, Is it possible to design the Greek Phoenix, according to the relevant official examples, which was the finalised design used as a CoA on passports, uniforms et cetera as opposed to Diafora's available, rounded design that was (derived from and) used only on coins? An outline-only monochrome version is needed for the creation of passport vector images and a coloured image (just like Diafora's) for the coat of arms and Greece's military insignia in the 1973-1974 period.
The official examples were published in a Government Gazzete Issue (ΦΕΚ) back in 1973:(http://www.et.gr/idocs-nph/search/pdfViewerForm.html?args=5C7QrtC22wF6rlIz2Gsd0ndtvSoClrL8ii-Ftf96MRB5MXD0LzQTLWPU9yLzB8V68knBzLCmTXKaO6fpVZ6Lx9hLslJUqeiQhDW3UqEYxp967uQ9QJI80RJBC1xW8jiM-ChIQs1NqoU.) (PDF format).
It contains (page two) examples for the Great Seal of the State (Μεγάλη του Κράτους Σφραγίς), the Phoenix (Φοίνιξ) emblem and a generic public authorities (Σφραγίς Δημοσίων Αρχών) seal, but no specifications whatsoever on their construction.

Welsh arms
editDear @Sodacan , would it be possible for you to make the relevant coat of arms for List of rulers of Wales for the Kings and Princes of Wales section please? If possible, in a slightly more traditional style as seen on wappenwiki.org ? I used arms from this site without realising that they did not qualify for Wikipedia use.
In addition, would it be possible for you to also upload arms for the kingdoms in Heraldry of Wales, again in a similar traditional style as seen on wappenwiki.org?
Some of the designs that were previously in use (not any made by yourself) were quite poor and in need of an update.
Thank you very much for your time, this would be immensely appreciated. Titus Gold (talk) 00:08, 11 August 2022 (UTC)

House of Savoy coats of arms

I saw that you made some other coat of arms, as usual very well, and I wanted to reproduce some others below. I hope with this request not to disturb you excessively. Thanks in advance and let me know!

But I don't have much knowledge about these arms, so any help would be great. For example the time period, the arms of the House of Savoy's entire history? or only as ruling dynasty of united Italy? New Zealand city armorial bearings
editHey Sodacan. As I have done some heraldry related editing, I have noticed some of your great work around!
I wondered if you might be able to help out with creating images for some armorial bearings for a couple New Zealand cities that are currently missing them? Just the shields would be good if the full achievements are too much of a pain.
Namely, for:
Here are some resources I have found that I hope might be useful:
- For Palmerston North:
- [62] provides an outline and a description of the letters patent. I have already uploaded the image to commons:
- [63] for colour reference
- [64] another colour reference
- An amateurish version I tried to make myself: File:Palmerston North CoA.png
- For Tauranga:
- For Upper Hutt:
- For Hastings:
- [71] in colour with description, but not best quality image
- For Rotorua:
Like I said above, even if it's just the shield(s) that would be great. Much appreciated if you can spare the time!--Radicuil (talk) 11:52, 2 November 2022 (UTC)

edit@Sodacan: Hello. Hope you are doing well. Considering the terrific job that you have done with Charles III's cypher and various other coats of arms and monograms, I thought you would be the best person to also create Camilla's cypher as queen consort for use on the Commons. I just felt the need to bring it to your attention in case you might have missed it, as both a coloured and a black and white version were unveiled yesterday. I'll be glad if you could take a look at it. Again, thank you so much for all the efforts. Cheers! Keivan.fTalk 17:01, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
Stag or deer courant
editDear @Sodacan,
I am a great admirer of your heraldic style. Do you perhaps have a deer courant in your archive (see this example) or could you just make one please? Unfortunately I can't do that myself. I try to copy the blazon from the example in your style for the Dutch page. A deer courant would actually be of added value, because it also occurs in many other arms. There is absolutely no rush, but you would help me a lot with it!

Newest Royal Arms of the Kingdom of Rwanda
editDear @Sodacan - After an exhaustive online search, I find that the most recent version of the Royal Arms of Rwanda, under the late King Kigeli V, appear to have been rendered by you (or at least someone with access to a compilation of the appropriate SVG files to do so themselves). Said most recent version appears here, for example - https://www.hubert-herald.nl/Rwanda_bestanden/image015.jpg - along with various "permutations" of same. However, the current King has modified these arms only slightly, changing the bleu celeste shield to a sort of ruddy brown "proper" color. Unfortunately, all online images are either JPG or PNG, and those are not of the highest quality.
Is there any chance you are in possession of the original SVG for the image I have linked? I can take it from there.
Thank you! Davidwu10 (talk) 21:50, 13 November 2022 (UTC)

Coat of arms of saxony, kingdom of Hannover
editHey, I am really impressed by your heraldic work, you created the the flag of the kingdom of Hannover:

and in there is a coat of arms in the typical pointed shape, as for example the coat of arms of United Kingdom. I realize you're really busy, but I would really like you to make this coat of arms without the dog on top or the scrolls with lettering. Just the helmet, the side pieces, and the coat of arms. Please either reply with it or you can put it on my talk page.
Thanks so much,
The Baroness Amos and Sir Tony Blair

File:Flag of Hanover 1837-1866.svg
editAccording to this site (http://www.koenigreich-hannover.de/ukindex2.html), it seems that the Hanover flag should have a green field under the horse when referring to a time period not under Prussia.
Maybe it would interest you to look into/change this for the file of the Hanover flag you made?
Thanks very much. Corruptikoo (talk) 12:56, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
Can you create two coats of arms for me?
editIf you can create it I want it to be like this:
Two crossed swords, a ceremonial mace used by military bands and in the center a Canadian maple leaf.
The other one I want to be a little similar to the previous one: two crossed swords, a royal mace with a shield of the coat of arms of Ontario in the center.
If you can create one, send it by email. Kardecjose (talk) 19:06, 5 November 2023 (UTC)
File:Seal of the General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.svg
editHi
I saw your great work on creating the File:Seal of the General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.svg and I'm wondering if you can do the same for the League of Communists of Yugoslavia.
The Logo we have now is not entirely correct; File:Emblem of the SKJ.svg. While there are two different designs, one sees clearly File:XI Kongres SKJ, Beograd 1978.jpg & File:X Kongres SKJ, Beograd 1974.jpg is within the star (and not outside of it, if that makes sense).
Here are other versions of the logoes:

This is where I'm spoilt: I need four logoes. One with КПЈ, one with CKJ, one with KPJ and one with SKJ. The two first are in cyrillic and the last two in Latin.
Is this order possible? :) TheUzbek (talk) 08:06, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
Coats of arms of Mary I and Elizabeth I as Tudor princesses
editI saw that user Muttum used elements of your own work to contribute the arms of Elizabeth I of England, and you yourself contributed the arms of Mary I of England. However, I have yet to notice a version of both Queens' arms while they were still Tudor princesses of England, and daughters of Henry VIII of England. May I request that you also make their arms prior to then becoming Queens of England? Please and thank you! Obversa (talk) 17:19, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
New BMA identity system
editYou may probably be aware of the buzz surrounding BMA's new identity system created by Farmgroup. You can see the article here, so I'd like to ask for your help in retracing the logos and updating the colours. An additional suggestion is to trace the กทม wordmark and have it be beside the BMA logo (same vibe as the UK House of Commons portcullis+word mark). I think it would go really nicely on the BMA wiki page. Thank you! KrebsLovesFiesh (Talk) 04:53, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
arms of the Heard family
editI saw that you mad the arms for Sir Isaac Heard but page only mentions the details of his family's true arms it would be amazing if you could make them and add it to the page i have found an image of them but if found it was not up to the standard of other pages here is the image : https://www.geraldheard.com/archives this image has a better resolution but the artist has added to it in the form of adding an extra crescent and making the water bougets extra large therefore making it inaccurate : https://queerstoryfiles.blogspot.com/2016/05/queer-philosophical-achievement.html.
here is the page you initially put the coa of Sir Isaac Heard : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Heard#Arms 185.102.149.84 (talk) 17:12, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
Request for More Clarifiable Coats of Arms for Pandarikulam
editDear Sodacan,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to request your assistance in creating additional coats of arms for Pandarikulam. The image file we have been using is File:COA Pandarikulam2.svg, File:COA Pandarikulam2.svg but we are looking for more clarifiable and clear versions.
If possible, could you please create updated coats of arms that enhance clarity and visibility? Your expertise in this area would be greatly appreciated, and we believe your talent will contribute significantly to the visual representation of Pandarikulam.
Thank you for your time and consideration. If you have any questions or need further details, please feel free to ask.
Best regards,
HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh's arms augmented as GCStJ
editDear Sodacan
Your heraldic graphic design is second to none - most pleasing on the eye.
I see your illustration of Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh's arms, which ought to display in chief the GCStJ augmentation of honour, viz. the arms of the Most Venerable Order of St John. It would be fab if you could create an image of these accordingly; the GCVO insignia is optional (herald painter's licence), given that the Royal Victorian Order circlet surrounds the Shield.
Qv. HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh's heraldic banner at the Priory Church of the Order of St John.
NB. - as a guide this is the SMOM augmentation in chief.
- - the Most Venerable Order of St John's arms are blazoned:
Gules on a Cross Argent in the first quarter a representation of the Royal Crest of England (upon a Royal Crown Proper a Lion statant guardant Or royally crowned Proper).
Please advise - looking forward to hearing from you - many thanks.

Couto Misto Coat of arms
editDear @Sodacan, I trust this message finds you well, my friend. I have a special request that I believe aligns perfectly with your creative prowess – could you work your magic and bring the arms of Couto Misto to life in your fantastical style?
I am immensely grateful for the incredible contributions both you and @Heralder have made to Wikipedia. Your dedication to enriching knowledge is truly commendable.
Wishing you and Heralder nothing but the best.

Hello Sodacan, could you create the badge of the Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Unit. It is caribou surrounded by the words "NEWFOUNDLAND FORESTRY UNIT", it is a simple badge and shouldn't take long! I am a huge fan of the 'sodacan' style and think that it would make the badge look more professional if it is in that style rather than drawn. I do hope you can help, cheers User22322 (talk) 14:24, 19 March 2024 (UTC)

Coat of Arms of the Counts of Rendufe
editHello, I wonder whether you might create the arms of the Counts of Rendufe, like this one https://www.heraldrysinstitute.com/lang/en/coat_of_arms_card/idit/16980/Coat+of+arms+of+family+Silva. The shield and motto are available on the link. Might it have the coronet of a Portuguese Count and the supporters of a Lion rampant on the left and a lion guardant on the right. I would be very grateful! Thank you! Oanvoovad (talk) 22:34, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
- Dear Sodacan, these arms are entirely absent on wikipedia and very difficult to find on the net. They have been misattributed by auction houses and the only one online is completely wrong and made up. I would be most grateful if you could create them as I haven't the resources. Please email, even if to say no. Oanvoovad (talk) 18:00, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

Spanish Empire Heraldry
editGood afternoon, Sodacan! First of all, I would like to say that I have been following your work for a long time. I have always admired your style, the ability to create and so jewelry design of various coats of arms... That is the reason why I have approached you today. Delving into the history of the Spanish colonial empire, I found this curious page on Wikipedia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louisiana_(New_Spain)https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louisiana_(New_Spain) Like a demanding and fickle lady, Louisiana passed from the hands of the romantic French to the warlike Spanish. What was my disappointment when, instead of a wonderful coat of arms worthy of a colonial empire, the page featured an Internet-adapted sketch from an old Spanish notebook... I'm not gonna lie. Initially, I approached you for purely personal purposes (At my leisure I improve and create my own flags based on pre-existing/nowadays states). But now, I realize that a lot of people might also want to use this coat of arms for their works. Or at least, they want to read about Spanish Louisiana so its coat of arms wouldn't cut their eyes. I'm sorry I've written so much text, but I'd really appreciate it if you read this far and help young vexillologists to do their work with more enthusiasm). Thanks in advance!
