Please stop changing the names of places in our articles, to different names to those used as our article titles, as you did at Ahmednagar. Please post a notification on the talk page of the page creator any time you tag a page for deletion (CSD, PROD, AFD/RFD/TFD/etc.) like the note above this one. This is done most easily by using Twinkle to tag pages for deletion. Twinkle is an editing tool that many editors, both new and experienced, use because it means you don't have to search for the right template to use.
Just make sure that you set your Twinkle Preferences to "Notify page creator" and then Twinkle will post these notices on your behalf. It will also show you a list of possible speedy deletion criteria that might apply to pages in different namespaces because it is better to use a valid criteria than make up your own reason. Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Allahabad Chheoki Junction railway station a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Please read Wikipedia:Requested moves/Controversial. This explains the process for setting up a discussion about moving a page. Any proposed move that has a political aspect should use the process at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Controversial. The process works as follows:
- You fill in the templates as instructed, saying why the move should happen. Please note that we expect evidence, not just your opinion.
- There is a move discussion for about a week.
- An independent person adjudicates.

- @Toddy1 I would request you to kindly refer to Talk:Prayagraj. There had been a detailed discussion about moving Allahabad to Prayagraj. And the consensus was reached in favour of the move. And then it was advised to move similar pages from Allahabad to Prayagraj except for High court since its name wasn't changed. - XYZ 250706 Thank you for asking. But the scenario is still very much unclear. All depends on the seat sharing. If it goes well then they will fight collectively. So even those National parties won't connect more than 40 seats except INC. They are considered as national parties. But everyone known that no party except BJP & INC and collective LEFT parties have presence outside 2-3 States. We should wait until seat sharing is finalized. This is my take. Prof Shinde was blocked as a sockpuppet of Crompton editz, so that name should be the "sockmaster's user name", if you think that this new account is the same person that edited as Prof Shinde. The following paragraph has three diffs. It is copied from a warning I placed on another user's talk page:

How to do diff using the history tab:
- Go to the page history tab.(This example will use the history tab of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly)
- What you want to do is to compare selected revisions.
- There are two circles in front of each edit on the list.
- Click on the first circle in front of the edit of 07:51, 8 August 2023. The circle will go black.
- Click on the second circle in front of the edit of 09:39, 8 August 2023. The circle will go black.
- Click on the compare selected revisions button.
- This will produce a page marked

- SPI reports are assessed by people what are not part of the conflict you talking about. i.e. they are not involved. So they do not know what you are talking about unless you point them at examples and explain why the examples show something.
- The first thing I did was to add 11 different sockpuppets of Crompton editz and Maha Sainik to the interaction editor.
- This showed that the only page Maha Sainik had edited that one of the others had edited was Pune - see timeline. This made it more difficult to demonstrate common interests. So I looked at the content of articles they edited a lot, and found that though they were different articles they were related to Maharashtra politics. This enabled me to explain on the SPI page how evidence supported that they had a common interest in Maharashtra politics.
- But you are the one who noticed the similarity in the behaviour. It is not obvious to me what it is. But it is obvious to you. So I thought the best way to help you was to explain how to do diffs, and to give you an example of how I had used diffs to show something. - @XYZ 250706 Me doing on your behalf won't help. Since it's your report I just can help you with it here. They are asking to give links to wrong edits made by him. For example here he removed a referenced content - Revision as of 15:59, 23 August 2023 and I have reverted all his edits on the page because he put things which are already there in infobox and he dig too deep into it which is not necessary. INC Leader

Hi there - Rahul Gandhi holds neither party leadership nor legislative leadership (leader of the CLP, etc). Kharge as Congress president is the leader — this follows precedent from past elections where no PM candidate was declared (see 1998, 2004). Modi is the PM candidate and therefore precedes the party president for the BJP — the INC doesn't have a declared candidate (Gehlot saying Rahul Gandhi is the candidate doesn't mean anything), so we default to the party president.

- @GlobalYouth20 I have done that. Just to correct your this is not Legislature but Parliament. So its not Legislative leader but parliamentary leader. Secondly its not Congress legislture party (CLP) but Congress Parliamentary party (CPP). AND PLEASE Donot remove the spacing. = being in a single line helps in editing. @82.147.226.240: You made edits at Talk:October 2023 Gaza−Israel conflict#Requested move 7 October 2023 and Shaan Sengupta struck them through giving reasons. One of the reasons was WP:ARBECR, which says that on pages with an "extended confirmed restriction", non-extended-confirmed editors (for example IP editors) may use the "Talk:" namespace to post constructive comments and make edit requests related to articles within the topic area, provided they are not disruptive.
But they are not allowed to make edits to "internal project discussions" such as deletion discussions (AFDs) and move discussions (RMs). Template:User Hindu has been in existence since 2016. In that time more than 50 editors have added it to their user pages, indicating that they identify as Hindus. You have unilaterally made changes to the template, which have resulted in those editors appearing to have said other things about themselves which they have not in fact said. If a user posts a notice to their userpage which just says that they are Hindu, nobody else has the right to replace that notice with one which misrepresens them as having said something else. - I really don't know what else there is to be said about it, but I will give you an expanded explanation of the same point. Editors have chosen to have a message on their user pages saying "this editor is a Hindu"; you have decided to change that so as to make it appear that they said something else, without consulting or even informing them. Whether the text which you imposed means essentially the same as what they chose to have is irrelevant: it was not what they chose to have on their user pages, and you have no right to put it there. You are perfectly free to put your preferred text on your user page, which you can do without changing the template. The only conceivable reason for changing the template, rather than just posting what you wanted to say on your own user page, was that you intended to impose your choice of message on other people's user pages. Also as far as I can see the fact that you didn't just drop the matter once that had been pointed out to you can only mean that you still wish to impose your choice on other people's user pages. As for "No one in my information objected it", what makes you think that the people concerned knew about the change? I don't keep frequently reading through my user page to see whether someone has taken it upon themselves to change it, and I don't think anyone else should have to do so. I am also at a loss to understand why you would even wish to change what other editors say on their user pages, even if for some reason you think you have the right to do so: what is it do with you?

Where you got seat limit and vote share for adding parties in info box election. I've seen you had removed INC in 2023 Tripura Legislative Assembly election. In Tripura there are far less seats as compared to UP, Bengal, Bihar. Getting 3 seats in Tripura is not so bad as greeting 3 seats in other states. At the same time, I see a need to remove INC from 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election page bcoz they had single digit vote share as well single digit seat in both the elections. Same here in case of Tripura, INC in not worth adding bcoz of single digit vote share and 0 seats in previous election as well as single digit vote share and just 3 seats (which doesn't qualify it for even LoP. Rather overwriting that file, I should upload other. But we need to understand that both the INC and the BJP has allies in nearly all states. For example, BJP in UP despite having majority in its own has NISHAD party chief in cabinet. Similarly, in Rajasthan INC has majority in its own but still has alliance with RLD of Jayant. @Shaan Sengupta Adding tables of alliances and unnecessary parties make the parties and alliance section long in 2024 Indian general election. So can we add the section like such sections in 2019 Indian general election and previous general elections articles in which the alliance data is in the articles of respective alliances and adding an overall data in the article for general election? - @XYZ 250706 I partly agree with you. But the problem is that we don't yet know which party will contest and which not. Especially in the case of northeast, I think many parties won't get even one seat to contest. I think we should wait untill candidates are announced or atleast seat sharing formula is announced and then we can clean the unnecessary parties. Hello. I noticed you created a new Category:2024 Indian general election despite a category already existing for the election (named Category:Next Indian general election). This has meant we now have two categories for the same election. Rather than creating a new category, you should have requested the category be renamed by using the WP:CfD or WP:CFDS process. Hi @Shaan Sengupta. Just seen the ANI discussion on Happyjit Singh. ANI is usually helpful in case of continuous disruptive editing and edit warring. However, content dispute at a particular page rarely gets anything done on ANI. If a user is making disruptive edits on Indian election pages or editing against MOS:INDELECT guidelines, best option is to give warnings (template) to the user, and if they still do the same after level 4 warning, then report them at ANI for disruptive editing rather than a content issue. Give the user a level 4 warning if they continue to do the same. Reliable media is the main key. Still if you want to go by vote share and seats, 10% vote share and atleast 5 seats. Bcoz nearly any party can win 2 seats. - Hi @Liz, I thought so not once but many a times. Even their political alignment is same. But I have stopped filing SPI's bcoz of two reasons. First its time consuming to make a detailed report and second the baclog is too long for a CU check. If I don't give enough evidence clerk would decline the CU and close the case. Don't false claim. I don't know that user. Yes, I'm interested in election pages but not so in Tripura. My edits are concentrated with Maharashtra and Bengal. I found this user closer to that user User:Ram Mahan Yadav. He created Communist Party of India (Marxist), West Bengal page previously that user created Communist Party of India (Marxist), Tripura and Moreover he reintroduced Next Tripura Legislative Assembly election.
