Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hello
Thank you for your assistance with the IP user you just blocked. Also, as I told Beeblebrox on their talk page, I apologize for all the talk page reverts. If you feel I should be banned also, go right a head, however, as you could see the reverts were a necessary evil. CrashUnderride 01:27, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
- I doubt anyone will. There is an exception to the 3rr rule for reverting vandalism, while people often get in trouble for taking an overly broad definition of what constitutes vandalism, imo what was a pretty clear case. Monty845 01:59, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
Re: 101.182.144.48
Hello! :) They're continuing their tyranny on their talk page. I restored the shared IP notice since they're not allowed to remove that. However, based on that and the fact that they vow to continue their disruption when the block expires, I'm wondering if an increased block duration is needed as well as possibly revoking their talk page access. Amaury (talk) 01:58, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
- I thought that about the block duration, but I didn't feel I should say anything as I was in the situation also. But yeah, I agree with Amaury. CrashUnderride 02:02, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
- Extended the block based on the promise to resume disruption. I try pretty hard not to revoke talk page access, and at least for me, the shared IP notice thing isn't enough for me to revoke talk page access. Though another admin may see it and decide to. Monty845 02:04, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you, Monty. Regarding revoking talk page access, to clarify, that was more based on their attitude in general than them removing that notice. Thanks again. :) Amaury (talk) 02:07, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
- They are back on their talk page, they have removed the shared IP banner twice. CrashUnderride 03:24, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
- Technically its a violation of the rules for him to be removing it, but particularly as I'm the blocking admin, I don't want to remove the primary way for him to appeal the block (via unblock template) over something relatively petty. Though feel free to request another admin to do it, or let me know if he starts doing something more serious. Monty845 03:49, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
