Is the word "of" missing?

The first paragraph ends "which he understood to be the influence Western imperialism". It seems that the word "of" is missing here and the sentence should read "which he understood to be the influence of Western imperialism". Vorbee (talk) 18:15, 21 November 2018 (UTC)

What is jurisprudence of Abul A'la Maududi?

On English Wikipedia page named Abul A'la Maududi, it is written that his jurisprudence is HANAFI but his creed is ATHARI, please clear that which jurisprudence/fiqh and creed he follows. Athari creed is associated with Hanbali fiqh or Zahiri fiqh and the sects of Wahabbism,Salafism,Ahle Hadith and Ahl al hadith while Hanafis mainly follows Maturidi and Ash'ari creed or school of islamic theology.

Abul A'al Maududi's belief

Was maududi rehmatullahi alai a hanafi?

Syed Abul ala maududi rehmatullahi alai was not a hanafi. In fact , in his book tafheen ul Quran which is nowadays a very famous commentary of Qur'an among the youth, Maududi puts forward the views of many scholars like imam Abu Hanifa, imam shafi etc., and sometimes says that here Abu Hanifa is more accurate, here shafi is accurate and here Ahmad's view is appropriate.
