April 2020 edit

Hello, I'm TheJoebro64. Your recent edit(s) to the page Super Mario Bros. appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been removed for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. See the Gamasutra source in the article. The precise North American release date of Super Mario Bros. is not known and impossible to prove because contemporary reports and advertisements are contradictory. Please do not change it again.   Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Super Mario Bros.. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. JOEBRO64 21:53, 23 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

You are blocked again, for a week. Are you not understanding why you are being warned and blocked? Is there something I can help you with in understanding? You may be blocked, but you can still comment here, on your talk page. If you ask questions and commit to changing, I’ll unblock you sooner. Sergecross73 msg me 22:48, 3 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

September 2020 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of best-selling video games. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Prefall 08:34, 10 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia. IceWelder [] 09:22, 1 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Blocked for sockpuppetry edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/KhaledKetata. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- RoySmith (talk) 19:52, 11 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Reasoning for why I should be unblocked edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

KhaledKetata (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I didn't know how to edit constructively on Wikipedia as I was still learning and now, I firmly believe I understand the concept of editing on wikipedia and why I think I'm ready to start editing again. I also now know that whenever I have problems with editing a page, I should ask a well-experienced user or admin for help. And should never make another account for editing as that counts as sock-puppetry. I now understand all of those things and am ready to continue editing on Wikipedia.

Decline reason:

Based on what I see over at User talk:KhaledMohammedKetata, this block is appropriate and needs to stand. A number of your contributions on that other account were inappropriate and you made ludicrous and obviously false claims that "I am not a sockpuppet!" even while using a sockpuppet account. Given your behaviour, the block is appropriate. Your best bet is to wait six months with zero edits, then apply under WP:SO. At that time, you will need to address your sockpuppetry, block evasion, and violations of copyright and fair use, and other inappropriateness with that account, and will need to convince us you can be trusted to follow our policies and guidelines. Yamla (talk) 09:53, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

To Yamla edit

As far as I'm aware, if I have to go 6 months with no edits then fine. But I suggest you reset the block settings and make it from indefinite to 6 months so I know when I can come back. That'll help me a lot. If the vandalism part was also with my edits on the WrestleMania 37. I have a good explanation. I don't have good internet and so when I was watching the event live, Peacock was lagging in some matches like Braun Strowman vs Shane McMahon or John Morrison and the Miz vs Damian Priest and Bad Bunny. So I hope you can understand and hopefully you'll set the block date to October 11, 2021.

KhaledKetata (talk) 15:44, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

You've received 4 blocks, 3 on this account and then another one your sock. The original indefinite block was valid and correct. You were going to be blocked on your second account for disruptive editing anyways, being a sockpuppet was simply an additional reason for the block. Block evasion combined with disruptive editing on a new account doesn't help your case. Six months from now is October 14, 2021. You can appeal then. No one is going to reduce your block and give you a get out of jail free card. You MUST appeal, at the proper time, explaining what you did wrong and why it won't happen again. -- ferret (talk) 16:06, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
I tried appealing (multiple times), I tried making many points by contacting staff here, and I tried using the unblock template and gave every single detail as to why I should be forgiven. If I were you, I would give that person one more chance. I suppose you may or may not have seen the message. But I also mentioned as to how I'll ask for advice more often. But obviously, you're that cold and you don't care. -- KhaledKetata (talk) 16:42, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

To RoySmith edit

I respect your block choices, but me and ferret agreed to a 6 month block, so I'm asking you to set the block from indefinite to 6 months. Would really help. KhaledKetata (talk) 08:56, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I absolutely did not agree to a 6 month block. I very clearly opposed it. This type of disruption is exactly why it won't be reduced. -- ferret (talk) 12:28, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
No admin lets a user be blocked forever. But of course, you don't accept mistakes. Give me a chance dude. I will not let you down. KhaledKetata (talk) 14:11, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
You already had four chances. Wait six months, then make an appeal. -- ferret (talk) 14:26, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
But how am I supposed to make an appeal when I can only make one appeal per account. Explain to me cause I have no idea. KhaledKetata (talk) 19:59, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
The same way you did before? Just do it in six months. You simply use the unblock template again. -- ferret (talk) 21:04, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Oh okay, well thanks for letting me know, so except an unblock reason coming October 1st (cause can't be bothered to wait). KhaledKetata (talk) 08:35, 17 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
That's up to you, but if you can't even follow our guideline for WP:SO, it doesn't speak well to convincing us you'll follow our other rules when unblocked. -- ferret (talk) 12:14, 17 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

To ferret edit

No disrespect to your choices. But I'm KhaledKetata and I know what's best. Let's just switch roles for a second. Let's say I'm the administrator and you're the standard user and you were block for a minor offense. If you wanted me to unblock you because that's what best for YOU and you didn't want to wait 6 months to make an appeal, then by all means I would do it. I have a kind soul and I bet you have one too and I encourage you to find it. KhaledKetata (talk) 05:25, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
