DYK for Mount Melbourne

On 14 October 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Mount Melbourne, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that mosses grow on Mount Melbourne (pictured) in the cold Antarctic, thanks to volcanic heat? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Mount Melbourne. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Mount Melbourne), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi Jo-Jo Eumerus. Maybe you can help this editor out. They seem to be working on a new draft of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Karikku (2nd nomination). I can't see whether this latest attempt is completely new or just a repeat of what was deleted at AfD. I also have no idea whether the creator is connected to any of the prior attempts to create this since the account is only a few days old. Anyway, you salted the title after the last AfD so I thought you'd be a good person to ask to take a look at this. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:27, 23 October 2020 (UTC)

Request

Paras Tomar page was deleted a year ago citing no proof. Will it be possible for a redisccusion for undeletion as some informations came up https://wikipbio.com/paras-tomar/ https://en.everybodywiki.com/Paras_Tomar — Preceding unsigned comment added by 42.190.223.129 (talk) 08:25, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Greetings. It doesn't seem like the first article has any new sources that could defeat the two previous discussions. The second one has six but I see it was copied from Draft:Paras Tomar which was deleted as a sockpuppet creation after being rejected for not being notable enough. Many of the sources seem pretty poor, too. I am thinking that we don't have enough evidence to warrant an overturn, here. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 09:00, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Unprotection request Karikku

Please unprotect Karikku · ( talk | logs | history | links | watch | afd | afd2 | afd3 ) · [revisions] so that Draft:Karikku can be accepted as an WP:AFC submission. Relevant discussion is in the "AFC comments" on that page and at Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics#I need a notability check.

If this needs further discussion or a formal deletion review, let me know where the discussion should happen and who should be alerted, and I will start that discussion.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think I'll do it. From what I've seen it's extremely time consuming and resolving intricate conflicts and disputes on Wikipedia is something I have virtually no experience with. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 08:40, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
