Why you removing my all links?? Sumit2641 (talk) 14:53, 1 October 2021 (UTC)

@Sumit2641:You've already been told on your talk page by another editor to stop adding these inappropriate external links to random articles, so continuing to do so may be considered WP:SPAM, WP:SOAP, and WP:DISRUPTIVE. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:11, 1 October 2021 (UTC)

Why do keep deleting my changes InfiniteNexus@

InfiniteNexus@ Aquaman was more received as positive than mixed, 65% on rotten tomatoes. JRobinson99 (talk) 07:43, 3 October 2021 (UTC)

@JRobinson99: This is not solely based on the Rotten Tomatoes score, but rather the entire "Critical response" section. In fact, the Metacritic summary reads mixed or average reviews. If you wish to contest this WP:STATUSQUO wording, please discuss on the article's talk page first instead of simply reverting my edits (which may be considered WP:DISRUPTIVE or WP:EDITWARRING). socials added to Wiki page?

Hey infinite nexus

First, thanks for your hard work to keep Wikipedia up-to-date and accurate. I truly appreciate the efforts of editors such as yourself to make this site safe and reliable.

I tried to add my twitter account to my Wikipedia page as an anonymous editor yesterday, but it was removed. Is it possible to add social media accounts to a public figure’s Wikipedia page under external links?

Thanks in advance, Mick Wingert, voice actor MickWingertVO (talk) 20:04, 8 October 2021 (UTC)

@MickWingertVO: Hi there. Unfortunately, Wikipedia's guidelines stipulate that social media accounts should not be included as external links unless the article does not include any other official links, which is not the case here. Additionally, if you are actually THE Mick Wingert as you claim and not an impersonator, please follow the instructions at WP:COIEDIT to diclose your conflict-of-interest as well as refrain from editing articles related to you directly. Thanks! InfiniteNexus (talk) 21:16, 8 October 2021 (UTC)

Superhero film cast lists

For reasons I think we can both understand, superhero film cast lists tend to attract endless tinkering (only military films, where enthusiasts want to include every rank variation, seem to come close) in comparison to other film genres. WP:CASTLIST exists in part to establish a standardized baseline for how we present casts in order to avoid endless edit wars over "Dr. Henry 'Hank' McCoy" vs. "Hank McCoy" vs. "Beast" vs. "Hank McCoy / Beast" vs...you get the idea. There is a provision in CASTLIST that states All names should be referred to as credited, or by common name supported by a reliable source (emphasis mine); however, we don't normally do this unless there is some reason the additional information/name is necessary and/or advisable (e.g., properly identifying the Cloaked Figure played by Temeura Morrison in the ninth episode of The Mandalorian) or in the case of uncredited characters (such as Taylor-Johnson and Olsen in the second Captain America film). Even so, it's a precarious thing to do with superhero films, because different secondary sources can still present different variations (some sources called Elizabeth Olsen the Scarlet Witch long before the MCU established her as such, and there is already edit warring at the Venom: Let There Be Carnage article over whether or not Graham's character is Toxin), at which point the initial problem re-presents itself. Grandpallama (talk) 14:34, 13 October 2021 (UTC)

@Grandpallama: I get not naming their superhero aliases if they are not made clear in the film, but the full names which I added are explicitly stated in the film or the previous installments, plus they are backed up by multiple reliable sources in the article. Nonetheless, I have no desire to spend time fighting for this change, so I'll just let it slide for now. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:17, 13 October 2021 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Pixel 6, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 4K.

(Opt-out instructions.) --DPL bot (talk) 05:55, 20 October 2021 (UTC)

Fixed. InfiniteNexus (talk) 05:58, 20 October 2021 (UTC)

Why are you deleting my edits citing it to be trivial info?

Hi InfiniteNexus,

Why are you deleting my contributions/edits citing it to be trivial information on Google Forms? It's a stub article and it barely has any details. I added very relevant information that would help users understand more of it's features and the edit made talks about a very cool feature of google forms that was never there before. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DiagonAlly7 (talkcontribs) 04:04, 29 October 2021 (UTC)

@DiagonAlly7: Like I wrote in my edit summary, the information you added is purely trivial information, as it concerns a minor feature in Google Forms. Also see WP:NOTMANUAL and WP:PROMO. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:16, 29 October 2021 (UTC)

Google Slides Infobox Image

Are you able to provide an updated image of the Google Slides interface that falls under fair use? The current one that can be found on the Google Slides Wikipedia page is in fact outdated, so any help would be much appreciated in replacing it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:194:c000:1430:dc1f:9d37:9651:ca71 (talk) 19:18, 31 October 2021 (UTC)

Please read WP:NFCC and then tag whatever image you are uploading with {{Non-free web screenshot}} plus your fair use rationale. Otherwise, the image will likely be flagged as a copyright violation and promptly deleted for legal reasons. InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:07, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
Actually, it appears that another editor has already done so. InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:42, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

Good-faith edits reverted

Meta Platforms, Inc. did not exist at the time these products were released. Per prior practice, we display the name of the company as it was upon the product's release. ViperSnake151  Talk  17:46, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

@ViperSnake151: {{Infobox software}} states that the "Developer" parameter is for the Name of the current developer of the software (bolding my own). Therefore, how should it still say Facebook and not Meta? Also, I see no problem with indicating the fact that FB is now known as Meta in the lede. InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:58, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
Oculus products are hardware, not software. And that is also about having multiple developers. Look at all of the classic Macintosh products (i.e. Power Mac G4) and notice that the company is consistently addressed as Apple Computer, and not retconned to Apple, Inc. ViperSnake151  Talk  21:27, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
Well okay then. InfiniteNexus (talk) 21:32, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

page edit doesn't fix problem

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=1048938889 didn't fix the page's display. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rootsmusic (talkcontribs) 20:01, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

@Rootsmusic: I'm pretty sure it did, what are you referring to specifically? InfiniteNexus (talk) 21:27, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
@InfiniteNexus: When I browse with Firefox and Chrome for Windows, the "Pixel 5a" column is cut-off (no horizontal scroll bar to scroll). --rootsmusic (talk) 02:28, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
Sorry @InfiniteNexus:, the frame does have a scroll bar below the table's last row. I was expecting a scroll bar for the page (and not have to scroll down in order to find a horizontal scroll bar). --rootsmusic (talk) 02:35, 3 November 2021 (UTC)
No worries, glad it's all cleared up now. InfiniteNexus (talk) 02:39, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

Hello, I'm HaeB. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Android lawn statues, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. HaeB (talk) 07:34, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
