Hi there, I am currently working on the Google Opinion Rewards Wikipedia article, I have noticed that you have deleted all my work, I have taken note of your comments that you left behind and am currently working to fix the issues you've noted. I am currently working on that article to improve it from a stub class as part of a university assignment and to develop my Wikipedia skills. May I ask you to please not delete my work over the next couple of weeks but rather leave me notes on my talk page indicating how I can improve the article and I will take them into consideration and fix them up immediately. Finally, I am still learning so I'd highly appreciate it if you can take it easy on me! Thanks --Rayyy2000 (talk) 02:11, 24 May 2021 (UTC)

@Rayyy2000: Thank you for your message. I'll be sure to look over your future edits to Google Opinion Rewards and leave you feedback. Looking back at your edit which I reverted, we could probably keep some of the content you added with a few tweaks, so I apologize for removing them all at once. Still, some of the content which you added (most notably the "Operation" section, which do not conform to Wikipedia's guidelines not to include detailed instructions) cannot be kept. I wasn't aware that you were part of a Wikipedia Education class, so I hope this does not discourage you from editing on Wikipedia in the future! InfiniteNexus (talk) 02:32, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
I have restored some of the content you added after making some tweaks to the wording and formatting. Feel free to add more content to the article when you're ready. InfiniteNexus (talk) 02:43, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
Thank you --Rayyy2000 (talk) 00:40, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

Marvel characters

Hi there InfiniteNexus. I don't beleve we've spoken before. I'm KyleJoan. Nice to make your acquaintance! I see that you've been removing links for Marvel characters and adding nonexistent ones for their Marvel Cinematic Universe counterparts.[1][2] May I ask why? KyleJoantalk 00:27, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

@KyleJoan: I'll answer this one, hoping InfiniteNexus doesn't mind me talkpage stalking. Those are not nonexistent links. They are WP:Redirects to particular sections about the characters in the MCU. The redirects will later be retargeted to point towards sections for those characters on Characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Black Widow is released. IronManCap (talk) 00:32, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
@KyleJoan: Hi there KyleJoan, just saw your message. As IronManCap noted, these links will point to their corresponding sections in Characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the films/series have been released, so they are not nonexistent. This way, if these characters receive their own individual articles in the future, we don't need to change all of their links one by one. Hope this clears up the confusion. InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:36, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
@IronManCap @InfiniteNexus: Thank you for the clarification! I said nonexistent because it seemed like the intention was to link the actual characters' Marvel Cinematic Universe counterparts' articles, which don't exist. In that case, is linking the particular sections about the characters in the MCU more appropriate than just linking the article (e.g., Ikaris#Film > Ikaris)? It doesn't seem helpful to readers to only read a section that explains that the film is being made, X wrote it, Y directed it, filming commenced, and Z is playing the character, especially when the links were placed to lead to articles that expand on characterization. In Pugh's case, the redirect leads to a slightly copyedited version of the character description on the Black Widow (2021 film) article, which is already linked in the same sentence, so I don't see how that's more helpful either. That film isn't being released for another month, so while we wait for the creation of specific sections in the Characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe article, why not aid casual, Marvel-illiterate readers as much as we can? KyleJoantalk 00:52, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
@KyleJoan:I'm in the process of doing some info-adding of that nature, which I have done for Red Guardian#Film, Black Widow (Yelena Belova)#Marvel Cinematic Universe and Sersi#Film. IronManCap (talk) 01:04, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
And anyway, these redirects will be retargeted to more descriptive sections in about a month's time. IronManCap (talk) 01:07, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
As I said, in Pugh's case, readers can gather every piece of information found on Black Widow (Yelena Belova)#Film from the film's article since both are linked in the same sentence, so the redirect does not help readers. If it's going to take another month or so to have more descriptive sections, then why not wait and work with the character articles that we do have rather than link sections that give less information? Why the rush to redirect before the retargets are established? KyleJoantalk 01:17, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

@KyleJoan: In that case, perhaps we could change the temporary redirect targets to the entire page instead of just the 'Film' sections? InfiniteNexus (talk) 02:18, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

Here's the article: https://www.bizasialive.com/exclusive-first-look-at-the-new-utsav-branding/ --NIKO (talk) 23:07, 3 June 2021 (UTC)

@Nikon1803: The point is that you needed to cite that source in the article. InfiniteNexus (talk) 23:09, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
@InfiniteNexus: What? --NIKO (talk) 23:10, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
You didn't cite a source in your edit, which is why it was reverted. InfiniteNexus (talk) 23:16, 3 June 2021 (UTC)

Archives

Hi InfiniteNexus, I noticed (through stalking) that your talk archive (User talk:InfiniteNexus/Archives/ 1) is not linked on the archive box at the top of this talkpage due to a formatting issue. Perhaps we could move the archive to User talk:InfiniteNexus/Archive 1 to fix this? IronManCap (talk) 12:33, 13 June 2021 (UTC)

Aargh, I knew I would somehow mess this up. I will go ahead and fix the error, thank you for bringing this to my attention! InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:29, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
Fixed! InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:33, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
The formatting on my archives was weird as well. I had to get several archive pages deleted to get the bot to be happy. IronManCap (talk) 17:20, 13 June 2021 (UTC)

Ben Tennyson - Powers and Abilities

Why did you undo my edits? I was just expanding the page to include the Powers and Abilities of Ben Tennyson, like a lot of other superheroes have on their Wikipedia pages. And all of the information I wrote down is correct and from series. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7F:70BE:F700:B5DB:E7A:9840:C1D5 (talk) 17:19, 13 June 2021 (UTC)

Per Firefly's revert (seen here), the content which you added was wholly unsourced and largely fancruft, and when your initial edit was reverted, you merely reinstated your edit without explaining why. If you think your content should be added, please discuss on the article's talk page first. InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:28, 13 June 2021 (UTC)

YouTube Pride 2021

Hi @InfiniteNexus: I noticed you have extensive experience as an editor and are part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Television. I would greatly appreciate your input on my draft for YouTube Pride 2021. You can find the draft here: User:Peony1432/sandbox. I should disclose that I have a conflict of interest because I work for Google.

Thank you for your careful consideration. Peony1432 (talk) 23:08, 14 June 2021 (UTC)

Hey there @Peony1432, thank you for the message and thank you for disclosing your conflict of interest. As some editors have noted here, this event will likely not be notable until at least the event has occured next week or if you can find more sources documenting this event. A good comparison would be Dear Class of 2020, which only became an article four days after the event occurred, and only after the full schedule had been unveiled. InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:30, 15 June 2021 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your response. Since the event is now over, I updated the draft for YouTube Pride 2021 and added more sources and details. Would you mind taking another look? You can find the draft here: User:Peony1432/sandbox. Thank you Peony1432 (talk) 21:30, 30 June 2021 (UTC)

I'll be sure to take a look. InfiniteNexus (talk) 21:38, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
@Peony1432:The article is now live at YouTube Pride 2021. (Note: I was not the one who moved the page.) InfiniteNexus (talk) 22:50, 30 June 2021 (UTC)

Talk : WHY

Why did you revert my edit on google site?

My fandom account was blocked, my First edit was good. And you want to revert :(

Why this bed — Preceding unsigned comment added by MrParadoxFell (talkcontribs) 02:31, 28 June 2021 (UTC)

I'm not sure what you mean by my fandom account was blocked, but your edit to Google Sites was reverted the other day because there is no need to bold headings as boldface is automatically applied to them. InfiniteNexus (talk) 02:46, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
Ah, after going through the page history, I see what you were trying to do. In order to lower a heading level, decrease the number of equal signs from each ends of the heading (i.e. from ===Text=== to ==Text==). I have fixed the issue, so don't worry about it. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:14, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
Ok MrParadoxFell (talk) 11:53, 28 June 2021 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Features of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Winter Soldier.
