Lists edit

Hi Darkcover21

Thank you for contributing, but please do not change prose paragraphs into lists. This is an encyclopedia not a directory and it is a basic principle that most material should be written in prose form. Happy editing.--Charles (talk) 08:30, 29 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Lowestoft Schools edit

Hey!

I appreciate what you're trying to do with these edits, but this is an encyclopedia and we need to stay within the bounds of what is current! We also don't necessarily need to clog up articles with stuff that's frankly not necessarily all that relevant. I've tried to improve the articles a bit and added some citations where I can. Let's see if we can work to make them both accurate and interesting - and feel free to either deal with anything you believe is contentious on either the article talk pages or by leaving a note on my talk page. Blue Square Thing (talk) 17:55, 30 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Added a note on my talk responding to yours. Let's not fall out over this eh! I appreciate your work getting rid of lists on the Lowestoft page btw. Blue Square Thing (talk) 19:48, 30 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Hollywood Cinema edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Hollywood Cinema requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. TheRealFennShysa (talk) 17:05, 31 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Reece Ritchie edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Reece Ritchie, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Unless you have a source that contradicts the Wikipedia article as to what the name of the theatre is, stop changing the name.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:42, 2 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ivan Bunn edit

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Ivan Bunn. Thank you. MikeWazowski (talk) 18:58, 2 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

The Seagull theatre edit

The rules are that an administrator has to remove the Afd notice when consensus is reached. Be patient, no one has said delete yet, I am sure the article will stay. Putney Bridge (talk) 12:12, 3 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

NPA (the deleted Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/A boardley page) edit

The user in question is in good standing, and LTA is only for the most egregious cases of long term vandalism. It doesn't look like his edits are even close.

Please do not create attack pages. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images, especially those in violation of our biographies of living persons policy, will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Syrthiss (talk) 12:46, 11 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'm glad to took my advice and didn't start another page on exactly the same topic that had to be deleted again. That would have been very frustrating. Syrthiss (talk) 12:59, 11 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Port of Lowestoft - Vandalism Reverted Edit edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Port of Lowestoft, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. There is no vanderlism it is just contributeing to the articals and as for you keep trying to stop everything i do should stop and think! that all im doing is no different to you or any other user! You create lots of new articals and contribute to exsisting ones! How would you like it if every time you created a new artical it keeps getting tagged for deleation! I should put some on your articals and see how you like it! As for editing how would you like it if everytime you edit some one keeps reverting it back! I should re-vert your edits! Id be careful who you attact on here! you are always targeting me about things i do on here! Why dont you do it to smoeone else!

Fair enough - I've changed the warning to a more reflective Reverted Edit. My apologies if you consider that the edit you made was constructive. I don't, but it's debatable whether it would fall under the category of vandalism I suppose, so fair enough.
With regard to tagging new articles for deletion, I don't believe I've tagged any of your articles for deletion have I? I believe I may have questioned the notability of one, perhaps two, but I'm not the one tagging articles for AfD or Speedies. And I'm not the one attacking anyone or throwing threats around. Talk Pages edit

Hey - this is just a heads up - nothing else.

It's really important that the talk page guidelines are followed - which means that anyone else's comments on article talk pages should never be deleted and you should be careful about deleting your own - see Talk:Lowestoft. I accidentally deleted one of your btw (got all confused in the editing process...) - you might want to go along and sign it. Sorry about that. Blue Square Thing (talk) 18:34, 16 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Talk pages edit

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Marina Theatre, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. MikeWazowski (talk) 03:01, 19 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

MikeWazowski these articals are being developed by me with disscusions with Blue Square Thing do not keep re-verting my edits!!!(Darkcover21 (talk) 20:50, 19 April 2011 (UTC))Reply

Edit summaries edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary for your edits. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Thryduulf (talk) 00:07, 20 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Excelsior (smack) edit

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Excelsior (smack) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the notability of the subject,  . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. MikeWazowski (talk) 03:47, 20 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

No personal attacks edit

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:Blue Square Thing. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. MikeWazowski (talk) 23:44, 20 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
