Blocked user Kingcutie under new sockpuppet HDClear

It appears that user Kingcutie is once again vandalizing his brother's wikipedia page under sockpuppet HDClear, for which he was previously banned by you.

It's not entirely clear to me how to proceed with bringing attention to this.

NICTON t’s block

Hi Bbb, I don’t understand your NOTHERE block of NICTON t. Their outburst about Doug Weller is certainly weird and a waste of time, but do you really believe this person can’t possibly have anything to contribute to the project? Their behavior seems to me like that of an overzealous, trigger-happy newbie who doesn’t yet understand how to interpret standard template warnings and communications on Wikipedia. I remember when I started editing I thought every CTOP alert I got was a passive-aggressive flick. But I picked it up, and the odds of me raising a similarly baseless complaint to NICTON t’s at ANI went from nonzero to zero. Doug, I often forget that you are from the States. You edited that article way back in 2011...I guess it's still on your watchlist (only has 4 watchers) because you knew I'd edited it. BTW, I have no interest in the article or the building - I often click on "Random article" when I'm bored and have nothing else I feel like doing on Wikipedia. Pretty amazing what you see. If you examine their user talk page on the Persian Wikipedia (I used Google Translate) you will see that their interactions there are similar to those here. I have also found wikiversity:Adel shirazy, which I have asked to be deleted as out of scope. I see a determined attempt at (probable self)-promotion. Looking at their global contributions, I wonder whether the threshold has been reached for global locks for spamming/advertising. Further research has shown the extent of cross wiki spamming. I have made the request to the stewards. They are wiser than I am so will decide what is appropriate. Related to this editor and person, please may I have your opinion on the following:

• This website has a wikipedia logo at its foot
• Clicking that logo leads to https://wiki.sts.ir/Adel_Shirazy.html which purports to be a WMF site
• While it has most of the lookj and feel of a Wikipedia, that is incomplete, thus I feel it may be "Passing an Off" as a true WMF site. I am aware that any text on a real WMF site is able to be used under the the CC BY-SA 4.0 License and GFDL, but WMF may have technical reasons for objecting

I'm not an expert on what the Foundation considers legal, and I have no opinion on whether you should report it to the Foundation. Tiyyar article protection

hello Bbb23, the article at Tiyyar keep getting vandalized by anonymous IPs. Sources added by other editors have been deleted by this anonymous IP and they move the current status of the community to the history section, which is not a suitable place for it. The IP also not using Talk Page, only reverting. So I request Extended Page Protection for the page. Piyush Chekavar (talk) 09:58, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
