Old accounts edit

Please do not remove the sockpuppet notices from your old user pages. This is not in accordance with WP:CLEANSTART. --NeilN talk to me 02:48, 16 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

This is not needed. These accounts are all mine. They are all blocked, vanished, etc. and I have had them locked so they can never be used again. I am just cleaning up after myself. :) I have lots of old accounts and only two of them are marked as sock puppets and I want them to be abandoned neatly. Also, flyoffacliff is my main online name, and I really don't want this showing up. I feel the right to hide my own information. Thank you for your understanding. Can I undo the edit now? By the way, how did you notice me? CuteOrangeKittyCat (talk) 02:57, 16 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
You did not have them "locked". Your accounts were blocked by admins for vandalism and socking. You might request the accounts to be renamed per Wikipedia:Courtesy_vanishing#How_to_request_a_courtesy_vanishing. MuZemike, what do you suggest? --NeilN talk to me 03:08, 16 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
I actually did lock them myself. I removed the email addresses from the account and then set a randomly generated password, so they can no longer be used. Is it really necessary to leave the sock puppet notice posted, even though the accounts will never be used again. Can we at least courtesy blank the User and Talk pages? (I actually wanted to have all the block, deletion, and edit logs removed. But another Admin told me this is not possible.) Thank you :) CuteOrangeKittyCat (talk) 03:19, 16 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Please leave my edits alone. This issue has been keeping me up at night and I am already stressed. I thought you forgot about me, so I reverted the edits. I promise if you let this go, I won't cause problems. I even spent several hours making new pages and constructve edits to show I am willing to help out. If you would like, I can provide a list of all IP addresses and accounts I have ever edited from, which is many more than you know about, but only if you let me take my history off public display. Thank you. CuteOrangeKittyCat (talk) 00:36, 21 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Listen, I am willing to work with you, but you need to do your part and co-operate. I believe this is a special case. If you don't stop reverting my edits, please respond to the discussion. CuteOrangeKittyCat (talk) 20:21, 21 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
I've told you how to request renaming of your accounts. --NeilN talk to me 01:30, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
I don't want to "vanish", I just want to be a contributer like you. If I do vanish, will you delete this stupid sock puppet category that serves no purpose? Because at that point, all users in the category will be vanished. CuteOrangeKittyCat (talk) 01:43, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
I'm not saying this account has to vanish. I'm saying you can ask your old accounts be renamed so they're not tied to flyoffacliff. --NeilN talk to me 01:52, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Listen can I just explain something. You could have created this account and never mentioned or talked about the old accounts and no one would have cared or minded. That is the idea of a clean start, you pretend you are new and start over. Those old accounts shouldn't matter, nor should the category. They are kept purely for administrative and archival purposes. Just ignore them and start over. There are thousands of sock accounts and categories, there is no point trying to get rid of one in the grand scheme of things. 65.184.233.49 (talk) 02:03, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

May 2015 edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give List of PlayStation 3 games with 3D support a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen. Thank you. – czar 16:57, 16 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Okay, sorry. So its fixed now? That is the only one I moved. CuteOrangeKittyCat (talk) 17:04, 16 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Yep, I merged the histories. Remember to use the "move" function and not copy/paste to do any such moving in the future. – czar 18:32, 16 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Block edit

That was many years ago, I was a little kid then and did not know any better. I will be more careful if you unblock me. I don't mind if you keep my old records for administrative purposes. I just don't want them displayed publicly. I want to "Vanish" and have them hidden? CuteOrangeKittyCat (talk) 17:03, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I am not abusing multible accounts, I am using this account from now on, all the other accounts are permanently locked. If you actually read my well thought out comments, you would see that.

Decline reason:

When you create a new account after previous accounts are indef blocked, we call that block evasion. The majority of your edits appear to be attempts to cover up your old tracks. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:44, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • I've revoked your Talk page access and removed some of the material you added to this page. You may use WP:UTRS to appeal.--Bbb23 (talk) 21:38, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
