Question from Lisamarie1950 (19:19, 28 January 2022)
Hello. Who decides that it's appropriate that Robert F. Kennedy's biography labels him as a conspiracy theorist and an Anti vaccine propagandist? Can this be edited, as it most certainly is not a fair way to portray him? I have no affiliation with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. --Lisamarie1950 (talk) 19:19, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
- No one actually decides, just the editors. The statements as a ''conspiracy theorist and an Anti vaccine propagandist'' have been backed by references. However if it is not so, references would be needed to proof that it is not true and just a claim.
- See Talk:Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for further clarifications. Ampimd (talk) 21:56, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
The article Karna Solskjær has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:FOOTYN, only apperance was in the FA Cup against a non-professional third tier team
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hjk1106 (talk) 16:54, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- I recognized that error. Sorry for the error. Article has been moved to the draft space. Thanks. Ampimd (talk) 17:00, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- No worries, easy mistake to make. Hjk1106 (talk) 17:33, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
The page Karna Solskjær has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it was a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion Review Liz Read! Concerns about BLP
Hi, I have struggled with this for a while. In short, an editor supports certain langauge in the intro of a BLP. I removed it [1], citing WP:UNDUE, WP:SYNTH, and WP:V. After about a month, the editor began contesting the matter with me in Talk. After some back-and-forth, now there's an RfC where I don't think the other voters took my reasoning seriously. I'm now also hesitant to remove the language in question because the editor has intimidated that I might get reported [2]. But after reading WP:BLP again, I think the language should not be there until everything is finalized. What do you think? CurryCity (talk) 05:17, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Ampimd: Not sure if you are busy / have noticed, feedback would be appreciated. Thank you. CurryCity (talk) 21:15, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, I have noticed your message. I agree with you in terms of the wording, it seems a bit subjective. The issue is a sensitive one. However once there is a vote even though it does seem the voters may have misunderstood your reasoning, you would have to go with it. In terms of the intimidation, that was not fair from the part of the other editor. He probably felt like what was going on was an edit warring and wanted it to be discussed finally before it is changed again by you. These things happen a lot on Wikipedia. You have to drop it and work on improving other articles, else it would leave a bad message about you. Ampimd (talk) 22:25, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- Ok thank you. CurryCity (talk) 23:27, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- You are always welcome. Are there any other issues? You can ping me anything you need some help. Cheers Ampimd (talk) 23:32, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- Just a side question, can people drop templates such as edit warring on Talk pages (see the latest entry) without due process (not sure how that corresponds to Wikipedia)? CurryCity (talk) 22:28, 31 January 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah, a template can be dropped like that on someone's talk page. You do not need to go through any processes to do that. All you need is someone who is behaving in that manner in which you would want to warn them. If you go to someone's talk page. There is an option as TWif you click it and it slides downs, there are options including Warn/notify user. With that you can warn someone. However you just cant go round warning someone without any evidence. Ampimd (talk) 23:01, 31 January 2022 (UTC)

- Kindly read the rules on Wikipedia before you continue debating with me. If that was the case then someone can just copy and paste anything from any website unto Wikipedia. It goes against Wikipedia's copyright violation and plagiarism rules. Kindly desist from it before someone else reports you and bans you. Just a word of advice.
- Also read:
- Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources,
- Wikipedia:Copyright violations
- Wikipedia:Plagiarism.
- Click on the links and read about them it would help you and make your stay on Wikipedia easier.
- Do not revert the edit back again. Avoid that. If you want to put that on the article paraphrase it, do not just copy from My Joy Online and past on the article. Desist from that!! Ampimd (talk) 18:39, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
