This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --Abigailliseneko (talk) 05:07, 15 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is about a game that is playable on the internet. Pages exist like this for world of warcraft , The Sims Online and other games. We intend to update this page with more content to turn it more into an encylopedia over time. At the moment their is me and another person updating this page. We are only players of this game we do not work for the company in question and are not getting paid and doing this off our own free will.

thne it needs to be properly sourced, and adhere to WP:NPOV. if you can change it to be sourced and adhere to wikipedia policy, then it won't be deleted under the promotional category. it may still be deleted because it does not meet WP:notability, but usually, well-sourced articles are notable, by virtue of having independent sources. if you have furthur questions, ask here or on my talk page. (your reason here) --JWhite2410 (talk) 05:14, 15 March 2013 (UTC) I am just a player who noticed that many games out there have their own Wikipedia page so I decided to create one for TirNua. I do not believe that it is purely promotional but rather informative about the game itself. I intend to update the wikipedia page more and to go into more detail about the game in the future.Reply

see above. also, put in information that is not just about gameplay, such as brand history or such. critical reception is also not a bad idea. take a look at World of Warcraft or Halo (series) for examples of decent articles about video games. i'm going to add this into the appropriate wikiproject at WP:video games. — Preceding unsigned comment added by aunva6 (talkcontribs) 23:22, 14 March 2013‎

Cleanup edit

User:Abigailliseneko and User:JWhite2410: you may want to stop a second and read our general Manual of Style, our specific video games article guidelines, and our list of reliable sources for video games articles. Right now, the article is pretty much entirely a game guide, which is not what Wikipedia is about. We're here to document what reliable, independent sources say about the game. Sure, we can give some information about what goes on in the game, but we're not here simply to tell players what to do. I hope this helps! Woodroar (talk) 05:49, 15 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Done. I cleaned up the article. Not sure if it'll stick around as we only have a single reference. Woodroar (talk) 15:22, 21 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
