At 8:24 Shraddha stated ‘’ I was 17-18 when I was caste for Teen Patti’’ during a Talk Show. In conversation with Shraddha Kapoor and Alia Bhatt - Part 1 on Youtube. The existing birth date had no reliable source born (1989) other sites might provide about it but they had copied on the existing on Wikipedia page. We will confirm about it soon after we ask her. She debuted in Teen Patti when she was 18 and according to the Yash Raj’s contract she signed a three film contract when she was 19. Her school records also provide she was born in 1992 not 1989. Do not put references on sites indicate she was born (1989) because they had copied on existing Wikipedia page? We are currently working on it.

Archana Ramdonee 08:36, 1 August 2013 (UTC)

Okay, lets admit that she stated she was 18 when she cast for Teen Patti and also the movie production was delay for 1 year. Till the movie releases she was 20 year old. Apparently, she must be 23 year old not 24.

Wikipedia can edit by anyone, Shraddha Kapoor, birth of date was always unknown. When the page was created her birth date was not included. Until, someone came and put she was born (1989). Other, sites also reliable to the fact that she was born 1989 as it was existing in her Wikipedia Page.

What if i tell you that Deepika Padukone, was not born (1986), but people trust it, because it exists in her wikipedia page. Lucywho, is a database to rate celebrity over the world. Inorder, to set prove of being a Celebrity, they link wikipedia page and IMBD. The description of wikipedia sticks to the description as well as in Lucywho. See Shraddha Kapoor profile and the description as well -----> http://www.lucywho.com/p5085792/shraddha-kapoor/ It describs as Shraddha Kapoor (Hindi: ??????? ????) is an Indian film actress who appears in Bollywood films. Her Debut movie was Teen Patti and she is mainly known for role played in movie Luv Ka The End. which indicates that her Wikipedia Page was created without her birthdate informations.

In any case, if think that (1989) is her real birth date prove some reliable sources to that then i willing to change or remove it. Furthermore, for other dicussion join https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Shraddha_Kapoor to be able to talk about the conflicts about her sate.

Shraddha Kapoor - Born 1989, not 1992.

To Archana Ramdonee - Shraddha Kapoor recently stated in an interview that she was 17 or 18 years old when she was cast in her debut film 'Teen Patti' (2010), which became the basis for an inaccurate edit on her age (from 24 years it was changed to 21 years). It is important to note that being "cast" in a film (pre-production) does not mean filming/production and certainly not the release of the film. Filming for 'Teen Patti' was delayed for over a year (http://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/2008/jul/230708bolly5.htm). The film having been shot from late-2008 to early-2009 makes Shraddha 19 years old at the time, as she has clearly stated that she attended college for 1 year at Boston University (http://m.idiva.com/news-entertainment/shraddha-kapoor-marry-only-if-youre-madly-in-love/22248), AFTER which she dropped out to shoot for her debut film (which was shot from late-2008 to early-2009 - http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/Big+B+gives+Teen+Patti+crew+a+treat/1/25819.html). Going by this and her March 3 birthday, she finished High School and started college in 2007, at the age of 18. This makes her about 21 during the release of 'Teen Patti' in 2010, which was the age leading media sources reported when they introduced the newborn actress. Therefore, 1989 is the correct year of birth here. Shraddha has never publicly denied her age to any reliable source in the media. For 5 years, leading national newspapers and television channels have consistently used March 3 1989 to state her age. Let's keep Wiki speculation-free and accurate. The last thing a Wiki editor should be is stubborn without logic. With your 1992 claim you are basically implying that Shraddha started college at 15, which is impossible. She has to be 18 when she starts college as she was born in March. Publicising inaccurate details - such as about age or height - also reflects badly on the person whose biography is on Wikipedia as it can easily be misunderstood by the general public as having been carried out by the celebrity.

Response to Archana Ramdonee - In 2007, at the age of 18, she was cast in 'Teen Patti'. This is because shooting for the film had to start in 2007! When she finished shooting in January 2009 (based on the source I provided), she was 19 (20 in 2 months). After shooting, post-production took another year and the film released on Feb 26, 2010, 4 days before her 21st birthday. I can give you a list of sources that refer to her as the 21-year-old newcomer/Shakti Kapoor's 21-year-old daughter in 2010. The sources are national newspapers such as The Times of India, which is not a joke. I had listed TOI sources when I edited and you reverted them. Deleting information based on such highly regarded, infallible sources is an act of vandalism, but I hope to resolve things peacefully here.

Response to Xmisstree

You are not get it, those sources are not reliable sources. Reliable one are those, if the living person talks about it or officially announce it in their official site. The sources of national newspapers such as The Times of India, are not reliable to prove she was born (1989). There are numerous sites indicate she was born (1992). See example for Jacqueline Fernandez, her birthdate indicates she was born (11 June), sources such national newspapers provide that also. But, her actual birthdate was born (11 August), She clarifies in her Official Twitter Account as well as In Bollywood Hungama, she personally talk about it in a video and state she was born 11 August, those are reliable sources. Archana Ramdonee 05:46, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

Take the best sources and use logic - No one announces their age!

In that case, 1992 is unreliable as well. Sources for 1992 are extremely poor and it's completely illogical.

What can best be done is take the best possible sources, such as national newspapers and reference them. If Shraddha had a problem with 1989 being her birth year, she would have said so at least once in 5 years! Jacqueline clarified her month of birth, an actress would definitely clarify her YEAR of birth if shes shown to be older, and to not do so in 5 years confirms that 1989 is correct.

Xmisstree — Preceding unsigned comment added by Xmisstree (talkcontribs) 05:58, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

Response to Archana Ramdonee

No national newspaper has written 1992, they all have 1989 since they first introduced Shraddha. Imdb is NOT a reliable source (refer to your own talk page for that).

Until and unless she clarifies, our job is to use the best, most consistent sources. The Times of India is the best, a feature by Cosmopolitan magazine is another. I used both. Kindly do the needful. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Xmisstree (talkcontribs) 06:18, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

How come (1992) sources, are poor and unreliable?

It does not seem so, as National Newspapers also indicates she was born (1992), and so is IMDB. Sources (1992) are reliable. Coming about declaring her age, if she has not declare it then, why all of a sudden her birth date had changed. You think a mosquito stuck me and i came in the page and change it from (1989 to 1992). Listen, i know what you might thinking, if you search Shraddha Kapoor, she was 1989, then after a while it become 1992.

Everyone must be wondering she had hid her age. Just because, every actresses did it. You had kept on begging my differ on that she was born 1989 not 1992. And also, provide sources to that. I had already clarified how was that misunderstanding produced.

Archana Ramdonee 06:30, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

Archana Ramdonee 06:10, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

IMBD and National Newspapers are not also reliable sources.

I know IMBD and National Newspapers are not also reliable sources. National Newspapers are indeed not reliable, as an article is written by an author, they use a little bit of actuality and mix up with creative invention to make a story appear reliable. Sometimes, there articles are not even truth at all. Talking about IMBD, is a Internet Movie Database is the essence of tact as a reliability. Actors documentary might not be false at all. And, i had already explain what is a reliable source. I know what you might thinking, if you search Shraddha Kapoor, she was 1989, then after a while it become 1992. Everyone must be wondering she had hid her age. Just because, every actresses did it. You had kept on begging my differ on that she was born 1989 not 1992. And also, provide sources to that. I had already clarified how that misunderstanding was produced.

Shradha Kapoor was born on 1989 not 1992

In a recent Talk show 'The Front Row With Anupama Chopra' Shraddha admitted that she is 24, which means she was born on 1989. The ones objecting must catch up with the interview video and fix her Wiki- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7vbA0uUdw0 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Luvmiles (talkcontribs) 11:37, 23 September 2013 (UTC)

Birthday sources

I've reverted the recent addition as it did not actually provide a source for the birthday -- we need a verification that she was born on dd-mmm-yyyy, not that she celebrated her birthday with someone on xx date and a different ref saying she's yy age. Any such additions are in violation of our WP:BLP policy. —SpacemanSpiff 19:18, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

I've once again removed this per WP:BLP, the new ref added is clearly not WP:RS and not a personal profile either given the amount of ads etc on the site. Please DO NOT ADD any birthday without reliable referencing. —SpacemanSpiff 19:37, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

Vandal edits made by smauritius and categorizing reliable sources as unreliable since she does not want the shraddha'a real age to be revealed.

Smauritius is reverting my legit edits to DOB section with no authority and categorising the CINTAA link I provided as unreliable. Everyone in the cine field knows how important an organisation it is. It is the adjudicate authority for every contentious issue in the film/telly industry of mumbai. It is the only authoritative link one can provide to verify an actor's age. Also, I'm giving two more links for the skeptics to verify further. In this article (http://bollywoodstarkids.blogspot.in/2009/05/shakti-kapoors-son-siddhanths-first.html)her brother siddant mentions her age which is 22 in 2009 and in this article(http://www.filmfare.com/features/we-share-everything-except-our-husbands-padmini-kolhapure-3651.html) her aunt padmini kolhapure mentions about her mum shivangi being pregnant in 1986 when she was getting married. FYI, padmini kolhapure got married in August 1986.

Excuse me! i am not acting a Vandalism attack. Different newspapers and magazines indicates her age different, all of those links are secondary sources as well as creditable. We are not accept anything until we get a proper source, Many links proved her age differently. If the actress intended to real her age, it will be accurate to put it.

Archana Ramdonee 12:50, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

Newspapers are not a reliable source whereas her own family members are. Even if you don't believe CINTAA's link you have but to believe what her own family members have said in different articles I have quoted above. Also, I have seen that there were earlier users who quoted her real date of birth as 3rd march 1987 and you engaged in a verbal attack with all of them. You seem to be a fanatical fan of shraddha who doesn't want authentic information about Shraddha published online. There is no use in trying to convince you as won't believe even if shraddha herself comes to tell you her age. I have already reported you. If you are a fan atleast be truthful to the acotr you're idolising. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rose$keel (talkcontribs) 12:56, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

It is quite silly, you believe an CINTAA- Social Networking site, every one own an account. The actress stated she is 24 years old in newspaper TOI but yet i had not add it because some other sites prove her age differently. There are many creditable and accurate sources indicates her age differently, many others Users came to a conclusion not to add her DOB, as it is dubious, but sorry the way you are behaving it seems that you a user who i had already discuss, are using multiple of accounts, acting as different users???

Archana Ramdonee 14:36, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

This is not acceptable. I neither had any conversation with you earlier nor did I make any edits on Shraddha Kapoor page before. Even my IP can be checked if the admins don't believe me. Please don't make unfounded accusations. I found out about other users having an issue with you after reading your talk page. You are clearly not from India. Since you are saying CINTAA is a social networking site. Please do me a favour and register yourself with an account there. If it gets accepted then I'll not make any more attempt to reason with you. Please google CINTAA before talking./ You'll see if it is a social networking site or not. The actors themselves go to register at CINTAA to get protection from any disputes that may arise. -Rose$keel (talk) 04:50, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

2. http://www.cintaa.net/membership/cintaa - see the members

3. http://www.cintaa.net/membership/cintaa?page=1 - There is no profiles of big celebrities.

4. The page indicated her age differently not 26 year old, after a couple of years why you had came a change her DOB, why don't know it earlier.

5. Shraddha Kapoor, never stated she is 26 year old. Even, she celebrated her age with media, BollywoodHungama.

6. Her age is still a mystery, it is unknown, it is quite logicable to leave it blank, adding DOB, is dubious at all. She never stated she is 26 year old. Archana Ramdonee 05:53, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

@Smauritius: Membership in CINTAA isn't the issue. The issue is, who edits the profiles? Anybody, the performer, or an editorial board at CINTAA? —C.Fred (talk) 13:22, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, birth date is also unknown, -----> http://www.cintaa.net/membership/cintaa_profile/776

Kajol Devgan, DOB is unknown, -----> http://www.cintaa.net/membership/cintaa_profile/542

Esha Deol, DOB is unknown, ---> http://www.cintaa.net/membership/cintaa_profile/1263

Kangna Ranaut, DOB is 1986 in CINTAA Profile -----> http://www.cintaa.net/membership/cintaa_profile/3724, but in her official website and WIKI is 1987.

RoseKeel stated, Bollywood personalities went to the office of CINTAA, to register. They check their birth certificate to publish their age. So, why many celebrities age is not publish.

Everyone can own a sepecific account in CINTAA, Just to the link, http://www.cintaa.net/, in the right side, there is a member login box, just enter the email.address and password, you want 2 register, then it will provide that link ----> http://in.eregnow.com/membership/register/demoassociation, enter that choose your registration fee, re-type your mail address and password you want to register. You get the registration form, you fill the form, it will provide you, the biling form since since you do the payment, they will email your account.

Since, you had enter do the payment i don't think it your account cannot create. There is no need to go to the registration office, and all. I have done being a Mauritian citizen, so you guys can also do it.

CINTAA, is website where cine field knows how important an organisation. It is the adjudicate authority for every contentious issue in the film/telly industry of mumbai. Alia Bhatt, profile her DOB is unkonwn, ----> http://www.cintaa.net/membership/cintaa_profile/6113

Katrina Kaif, profile her DOB is also unknown, ----> http://www.cintaa.net/membership/cintaa_profile/5106

Bipasha Basu, profile her DOB is also unknown, ----> http://www.cintaa.net/membership/cintaa_profile/1017

Is this what we called a legit website,

Shraddha Kapoor, age is a mystery/unknown, Times of India, indicate her as 24 year old (born 1989), Other sites, indicated her as (born 1992), she herself stated that she cast in her debut movie in 2010 when she was 18 years old make her 21 years old in 2013.

I had not add her DOB, as it sounds so dubious at all. Wait for is next year she will celebrate her DOB, in March 03, we might get a hint what her age is.... Till then, it is appropriate to leave her DOB section blank. I had an objection if Shraddha Kapoor source is reliable and accurate, so this apply also for Alia Bhatt, Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif, remove her DOB, an put blank over there depending on CINTAA Profiles.

But, yet i was threaten, warned and reported, i was not acting as a Vandalism at all. Where is my fault. This is the so-called WIKIPEDIA FOUNADTION, SO FAKED, COMPLETELY FAKED FOR ME, IT WAS SO UNFAIR TOWARDS ME..... i guess... I do not know where i was wrong. but i was reported and warned???

Archana Ramdonee 14:18, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

The fact that other Wikipedia articles may have content sourced to inappropriate sites does not mean that those inappropriate sites should be used to "verify" information in other Wikipedia articles. Social networking sites are not reliably published sources and neither are family claims.
If generally reliable sources have published different claims, then we can either leave it blank until there is a clear consensus among the reliable sources, or we can do: Born circa 1990 (ref 1 with date of 1989) (ref 2 with date of 1991)
Primary source documents are not acceptable for BLP claims (see WP:BLPPRIMARY) -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 18:27, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

CINTAA, is not an accurate website providing illogical information about Bollywood personalities.

Aishwarya Rai, is cited as one of the most beautiful woman in the world, She got an blue-green eyes, everyone know about it. CINTAA, is the most accurate and reliable sources to prove Bollywood Personalities identifications. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, CINTAA, profile identified her physicality as black eyes. ----> http://www.cintaa.net/membership/cintaa_profile/776

Membership, is not the issue, who edits the profiles? Anybody, the performer, or an editorial board at CINTAA?? but whoever edits the profiles do you think it is dubious at all, to identified her eyes as black.

But, still it is the most creditable and accurate sources, to prove an individual personality and identity, taking the feedback of CINTAA Profile, let's change Aishwarya Rai Bachchan physicality? We all blindfold ourselves, despite she was born with green-blue eyes let's her black eyes as CINTAA, provide so??

Whether it seems so dubious but let's do it, even Rose$keel, provide Shraddha Kapoor CINTAA source on quoting it is a DOB confirmed from the CINTAA website as specified in the link. CINTAA is an association of Cine artists in Mumbai which has illustrious members like Aishwarya bachan, Anil Kapoor etc. No more changes or deletions in Birthdate are allowed view the history for that.

Priyanka Chopra, CINTAA profile is presented as Priyanka Chopraa ---> http://www.cintaa.net/membership/cintaa_profile/1201, despite the fact that she is Priyanka Chopra, let's change her name as Priyanka Chopra to Priyanka Chopraa as it is published in CINTAA Profile. Despite, illogical information about Bollywood Personalities but still CINTAA, IS THE MOST ACCURATE AND RELIABLE SOURCE TO PROVE A BOLLYWOOD PERSONALITY INFORMATION.

Please, kindly visit CINTAA WEBSITE, and view celebrities profiles, It is quite logical to leave her DOB section blank, until we get an appropriate source.

Smauritius 17:01, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

The perfect evidence, that CINTAA, is not appropriate to be a reliable and accurate sources of DOB.

Okay, admit it CINTAA, Bollywood personalities went to their office to register, they can't lie about their age as the provide their legal documents to identify their age issue.

How Come, Kangna Ranaut, CINTAA Profile indicated her as (1986), ---> http://www.cintaa.net/membership/cintaa_profile/3724 but her official website and Wikipedia, indicated her (1987).

See this Kangna Ranaut, passport we seen by an authority, she lied about her real age, in her passport indicated her as (1981). ---> http://zeenews.india.com/entertainment/celebrity/kangana-ranaut-lies-about-her-age-goes-from-28-to-22_26811.html BIG QUESTION, HOW COME THAT IF REALLY CINTAA IS A LEGIT SOURCES TO PROVE CELEBRITIES IDENTITY.

Smauritius 05:10, 12 October 2013 (UTC)

The sources of Shraddha Kapoor — 24 years old born (1989) and 21 years old born (1992).

She was interviewed by TOI— Times of India, she herself stated she is (24 years old—born 1989) ---> http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2013-04-21/news-interviews/38693520_1_dad-air-hostess-father-shakti-kapoor

But, many newspaper claimed her age (21 years old—born 1992), such as International Business Times—IBT, ----> http://www.ibtimes.co.in/articles/511874/20131007/shraddha-kapoor-commit-aditya-roy-kapur.htm

THE BEST CONSENSUS IS TO LEAVE HER DOB SECTION BLANK UNTIL WE GET A HINT. If Shraddha Kapoor, never stated she was 26 years old it is so dubious to add her age.

Smauritius 05:37, 12 October 2013 (UTC)

The only solution to cope Shraddha Kapoor age.

View the talk page, Shraddha Kapoor DOB , is claimed by a non-active user. The basis of CINTAA, her age cannot be proven. If Shraddha Kapoor, never spoken about she is 26 years old, it is still so dubious to add her DOB, in Wikipedia. This matter cannot be taken casually, we should dip in the depth of solutions. It might turn out into a legal issue of defaming a public figure identity. I have one solution, i work as a Journalist in Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation, i try to led down an interview with Shraddha Kapoor, and also try to perform some research work in CINTAA Cite Authorisation. If any, solution came out it will be more appropriate. The disputing of Shraddha Kapoor, pivotal involving are Smauritius, Geniac and Rose$keel dip into the matter.

Okay so I realized someone changed her birthdate to 1987 born, and used a source that has questionable accuracy. And I remember watching an interview where Shraddha herself stated she was about 17-18 years old when her debut film, Teen Patti released. Now, Teen Patti released in 2010, thus making Shraddha Kapoor 1992 born. The link to the interview is here (please watch from 8:20-as that is where she talks about how old she was during the release of her debut film)-->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7vbA0uUdw0 Please and thank you. The quote appears to be "I think I was 17 or 18 when I was cast" - thats not really something that shows a verification of age. especially since it would require applying some other source to establish a dating of the film and a huge estimate of the time between when she was cast and when the film was released. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 22:49, 12 October 2013 (UTC)

The whole first paragraph of the "Personal life and off-screen work" section should be deleted. It is celebrity gossip mag rumors from non reliable sources about somebody she is NOT dating. The only reliable source is the TOI, [1] which is a denial of the relationship.

The picture and the caption especially also need to be deleted. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:11, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

Edited to add: per discussion below, the section header should also be changed to:Off-screen work http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2013-05-26/news-interviews/39521869_1_kunaal-siddharth-aditya-roy-kapur/2 -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:11, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

They were dating each other, but they never confirmed it publicly, i don't think it should be deleted. Only this part of the phrase should be delete, Later pictures of Kapoor and actor Varun Dhawan surfaces, when they were both having dinner together. Although it appeared as though they were in a relationship, it was later confirmed by Varun Dhawan that the two were merely childhood friends. <--- as this are rumors of dating Varun Dhawan.
Smauritius (' . ') 12:35, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
How do you know they were dating if they never confirmed it publicly? And even if it was "confirmed publicly" - people date lots of people and unless you have reliable sources showing that there was actually something significant about the dating relationship (like they broke up during the middle of a movie they were making together and half of the film had to be reshot after one of them left or they ended up going to court over dividing the house that they co-owned), a "dating" relationship still has no place in an encyclopedia - we are not a celebrity gossip mag. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:12, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
In that case, remove the paragraph and also rename the section Off-screen work and personal life, into Off-screen work, as the section above does not provide any personal information of her.

Head Description

Version 1

Shraddha Kapoor is an Indian film actress and a former model. Kapoor, the daughter of actors Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kolhapure, was born and raised in Mumbai, she wanted to become an actress from a young age, prior to making her cinematic debut, she took up theatre studies at Boston University. Kapoor marked her first acting debut in Leena Yadav's 2010 Teen Patti, a box office flop for which she nominated her first Filmfare Award—Best Actress Debut She awarded Stardust Award—Best Actress, for her role ″Rhea Dialdas″ in Y-Films's 2011 melodrama Luv Ka The End. In 2013, her acting role was as the protagonist ″Arohi Keshav Shirke″ in the romantic musical drama film Aashiqui 2 which earned more than 100 crore. Alongside her acting career, Kapoor participates in stage shows, and is a prominent celebrity endorser for brands and products.

The Head summary is far way better and well described, if something is misplace or want to present it in a proper way. Add up new version, final consensus will exist, after disputing.

Smauritius (' . ') 13:02, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

have you read WP:LEAD and WP:NOTINHERITED? Is the fact that she is the daughter of someone famous the most important things that someone needs to know about her? in whatever case " she wanted to become an actress from a young age," is absolutely not acceptable for the lead, and only potentially acceptable for anywhere in the body with an appropriate context. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:07, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
I agree that the fact that she wanted to be an actress from a young age should be omitted from the lead (maybe could move that to Background section), but a mention of her father in the lead wouldn't hurt. He was a very popular actor back in the day, so it's definitely worth a mention. Her mother doesn't need, since she was not a popular actor.AB01 (talk) 07:45, 2 November 2013 (UTC)

Filmography and tables

Per both WP:MOSTABLE and WP:FILMOGRAPHY filmographies should only be in table format if there is an obvious benefit. There is no benefit for such a small and simple filmography to be in table format. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:44, 20 October 2013 (UTC)

The filmography section should be in table format. By removing her the basic information and claiming the Filmography section is not a benefit one.

When describing a Filmography section—it is more accurate to indicate her awards and roles; in the specific movies. In Gori Tere Pyaar Mein—her role is a cameo appearance, if you see her Filmography in your version is not appropriate.

Filmography

Version 1

Year Film Role Notes
2010 Teen Patti Aparna Khanna Nominated—Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut
2011 Luv Ka The End Rhea Dialdas
2013 Aashiqui 2 Arohi Keshav Shirke
2013 Gori Tere Pyaar Mein Shabbhu Patel
2014 Ungli TBA Special appearance in song "Nach Basanti"
2014 The Villain TBA Pre-production
2014 Haider TBA Announced

Version 2

  • 2010 Teen Patti as Aparna Khanna
  • 2011 Luv Ka The End as Rhea Dialdas
  • 2013 Aashiqui 2 Arohi Keshav Shirke
  • 2013 Gori Tere Pyaar Mein as Shabbhu Patel
  • 2014 Ungli in a special appearance in song "Nach Basanti"
  • 2014 The Villain Pre-production

The version 1 is more appropriate as it indicates the information properly—when reading it is more presentable; whereas the Version 2 is quite inappropriate—information specializes are not presentable inorder

Smauritius (' . ') 15:26, 20 October 2013 (UTC)

huh? all that having it an a table format does is demonstrate that most of it is pure conjecture about which we know nothing.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 15:36, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
inserting additional trivia attempts as fame by association such as adding costars which have nothing to do with the subject of this article - an actor has ZILCH influence in determining who their costars will be on a film. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 18:56, 20 October 2013 (UTC)

To me, the first version is better. We should be following the layout of good articles and featured articles, since they are the best articles on Wikipedia. Look at Ranveer Singh's article- he only had a few films in his filmography when it was passed for GA. If the table is appropriate there, it should be appropriate here too. Consensus has stated that Filmfare/National awards go in the Notes section, as well as production of films, so the first version is very appropriate. AB01 (talk) 04:36, 28 October 2013 (UTC)

Also, co-stars should be listed in the career section. Follow FA/GA articles. Right now, articles are being passed when an actor's co-stars are mentioned in the career section. If they are listed there, then this article should briefly mention co-stars. It does give good, brief background information about the film, which is important. AB01 (talk) 04:37, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
I fully agree with User:AB01, not for Ranveer Singh, almost for other media GA pages, it has presented as Version 1.

Smauritius (' . ') 09:27, 28 October 2013 (UTC)

while matching GA and FA articles is a goal, one must also remember that GA and FA articles have actual content and the subject has an actual history so the structures are based upon content. when there is not actual content to fill those structures, then it is a false and baseless argument to say "FA articles have this so we should too." You need to supply a why it also makes sense for the subject of this low content low history article. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:17, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
Ranveer Singh only had four films when his article was passed for GA. Hence, the table is fine as is. AB01 (talk) 07:54, 2 November 2013 (UTC)

Filmography issues

As it is currently being edit warred to preserve, the Filmography has numerous problems. 1) It contains (unsoured) a reference to an award nomination, a nomination that is already mentioned in the lead and in the body and in the section on awards. Clearly a mere nomination should not be duplicated so often within an article. 2) It contains information about the ROLE she plays in one of the upcoming films, since there is a stated column conveniently titled ROLE, the ROLE should be in the column called ROLE. 3) The table for FILMOGRAPHY contains content about works in progress that are not yet films. These WIPs are covered in the body of the article where the context is given. Since they are not yet actually films, we should not be giving them extra notice by also including them in the FILMOGRAPHY. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 18:20, 28 October 2013 (UTC)

Filmography section is one that should indicate her film works, nominated for a specific award should not be describe, as there is already an award table below. Also, her role and I suggest a new column titled director should be mention. The villain is already confirmed and she is currently shooting for it that should indicate. The Haider is not announced publicly, so far and not confirm by Shraddha Kapoor.

I suggest this new version.

Copying, a GA/FA page format and apply to every other pages is not mandatory, it is fair enough to create and present, a page in a neutral and specific way. Any one can contribute to Wikipedia, is the first source to provide information clearly and correctly, so it is obvious, to provide information in a presentable way, to not confuse people.

Smauritius (' . ') 06:00, 29 October 2013 (UTC)

Her films should be placed under one table only, I reckon. Separate tables for special apearances are only meant to be in use when the actor has a very large body of work, and when they have acted in special appearances for a lot of movies, like Salman Khan. AB01 (talk) 07:48, 2 November 2013 (UTC)

Okay. Smauritius (' . ') 12:17, 2 November 2013 (UTC)

Opinions must be presented as opinions and attributed

Opinions must be presented as opinions and attributed. While all the Indian cinema sources call things "flops " or "mega blockbusters" there are no actual objective criteria in place by any of the organizations for what constitutes a "flop" let alone industry wide standards, as your own sources show. Rediff uses the terminology "flop" for Teen Patil while Box office India calls it a "disaster" with a total reported bo of 5.41 distributers share of 2.69, yet the film click with only 1.36 total and distributers share of 0.68 gets a higher rating of "flop". Such terminology is merely opinion and must be attributed.

Assessments such as "underperfomed" are also purely opinion. - Underperformed according to whose standards and whose expectations?

Our article content must accurately reflect the sources and present opinions as opinions that are attributable to the people/organizations that made them. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 04:31, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

Age again!

In this case, Hindustan Times is not a reliable source. Whilst in this article, it mentions her age as 21, the same newspaper suggests she is 24 here. TOI has been consistent throughout the years, having her DOB as 1989, but the main thing is that TOI had mentioned to her that she's 24 here, and she didn't deny it. If you were only 21, and someone added three years to your age, wouldn't you deny it (especially if you're an actress)? So, I think that we should set her birth date as 1989-03-03. AB01 (talk) 04:56, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

you cannot make assumptions based on the premise that you would deny something ( particularly when she may not even know). There are still multiple sources giving multiple dates. Until there is a widespread consensus among the reliable sources (and you cannot just arbitrarily claim a source is not reliable because you disagree with them) we express the fact that the sources conflict.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 05:06, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
Then it would makes sense to remove the year altogether, or add that there is a conflict in this matter AB01 (talk) 05:11, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
Based on Hindustan Times, I don’t think it is appropriate to change her DOB, International Business Times and Daily.Bhaskar mentioned her as 21 year old. I think the most accurate/solid proof would be if, she declares her age. Till then, her age is unknown/mystery, blank her DOB section, add a hidden template to dispute about her age in the Talk Page, and semi-protect the page again. If it is necessary. Smauritius (' . ') 10:09, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

She herself has mentioned in many interviews that she "was born" when Aashiqui released & Aashiqui was released in 1990. Then how is this possible of her being born in 1992? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 103.245.69.68 (talk) 10:43, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

Yeh, I remember her saying that she was born AROUND the time Aashiqui released. But, that still isn't enough proof that she was born in 1989, since 1992 is still "around" the time of Aashiqui's release. AB01 (talk) 10:55, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

You should seriously get your facts clear. When asked whether she was born when aashiqui released, her response was "Yes, I was born when Aashiqui released & was infact very small". And 1992 is "not around" the time of Aashiqui's release, there's an apparent difference of 2 years. And also she has said that she was 16 years old when Shakti Kapoor's scandal broke out & If u remember, that scandal broke out in 2005. So, if you are good in Math, you will get to know her age. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Myworld91 (talkcontribs) 11:09, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

we cannot take content from two sources (one that says "the Shakti Kapoor scandal happened in 2005" and one that says "I was 16 when the Shakti Kapoor scandal happened") and then merge them together to come up with something that is not specifically stated in either source "I was 16 in 2005". That is something that is not allowed by policy. If there was a single source that said "I was 16 in 2005" then we could do the simple math. But what we do have is one reliable source that says "She was X years old in 2013" and another reliable source that says "She was Y years old in 2013" and so what we do is present the fact that there are multiple sources that differ about her age.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 11:37, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
The conversation is a repetition of existing proofs, come up with new sources to prove your actions, and view the above conversation which had already taken place. --- Smauritius (' . ') 11:14, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

I'll be glad to take this one; thanks in advance for your work on it. Comments to follow later today. -- Khazar2 (talk) 12:25, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

On first pass, this nomination looks like it covers the important aspects of the subject's career, but more copyediting will need to be done before it's ready for GA. A few examples:

  • Phrases like "involving the awareness for a Mother neccesity and valuement in an individuals life" and "unveiled the awareness of ammonia hair colours are not completely safe" need some copyediting to make sense
  • "Kapoor has become the one of the most admired and revered actress, according to itimes poll she ranked #1 position" is a comma splice and India Times should be written with its full name and capitalized.
  • ″Shraddha is on carrying Shakti Kapoor—her father gene″ is a misquotation of the source, twisting the original into a new, meaningless sentence.

So I'm closing this one for now, but please feel free to renominate once it's been thoroughly copyedited. You might consider asking another editor for help, or filing a request with the Guild of Copyeditors, who always do good work. Thanks for your work on this and good luck in revisions, Khazar2 (talk) 12:53, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

The award version is way more presentable, sub-head are created for a specific awards, being a personality on Indian Cinema, she definitely received, a lots of awards, Filmfare, Stardust, Zee Cine, Max even many more, will critics her as well as nominate her in a specific cause, If she will never received any awards, then i found it appropriate to remove the sub-head, but ever since she is an actress, she will received awards & nominations, sub-heading the awards, and Gimp the verdict, it is way more presentable and appropriate, as Gimp the awards, and update the verdict in bracket, if table format are not allowed to be used here. --- Smauritius (talk) 15:52, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

You guys have practically written a thesis on Shraddha Kapoor's age. Congratulations. I don't even care anymore, but here's a video interview by Zoom TV where she says she was born when Aashiqui (released July 1990) came out.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sk7wU0pjgU (Skip to 0:50)

I'm prepared for a ridiculous response, perhaps something on the lines of "That might not be the real Shraddha Kapoor in the video, hence the source is not credible".

Xmisstree (talk) 20:29, 2 December 2013 (UTC)

And Smauritius - LOL. Anupama Chopra saying "You guys are so young and famous" applies to someone who is 21 and NOT to someone who is 24? It's 24, not 42! THAT'S your "source" to prove that she's 21, not 24?! I did not know that at 21, one is young, and then suddenly at 24, one becomes old/not young. If that's the case, then 1 year later I'm gonna be old, man! :O

Xmisstree (talk) 20:45, 2 December 2013 (UTC)

Because Shraddha's mom was expecting a baby during Padmini Kolhapure's wedding (August 1986), and on account of her brother stating in an interview that she was 22 in 2009, I strongly suspect that she was born in 1987. There are also numerous sources which were created around her debut days which say 1987.

She did not deny in an April 2013 interview by The Times of India that she was 24. The interviewer said, "You are 24", and she did not deny it. If someone says to me, "You are 24", I'd automatically correct them and say, "No, I'm 23", even when it's just a 1-year gap.

Having said that, if the growing actress does not wish to have her first successful film as a 26-year-old and would rather be portrayed a couple of years younger in the media, that's her choice. But 1992 is absolutely ridiculous. Just my two cents. Write 1996 for all I care. Wikipedia is not a credible source, but lots of people copy it, sadly; hence the 1992 birth in all these news stories. I've trusted Wikipedia with my homework. Never again, if it's being run by people who don't have the first clue about how to go about it.

Xmisstree (talk) 21:02, 2 December 2013 (UTC)

We source things to a reliable source, if the source is a reliable source we'll use it. We take care to vet things with BLP issues very carefully. Unfortunately this is indeed why we don't source things from wikipedia. If you notice though at this time there are editors trying to get it right but we can't use our own deductions to make that leap. Sometimes other people say things as if facts when in reality they may not be or they may be mistaken. The User Formerly Known as Hell In A Bucket (talk) 21:36, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
@Xmisstree The Times of India might be a fabricate one, because if The times of India knows (suppose Shraddha Kapoor stated she is 24 year old), why they would publish an article within the same year indicating her as 21 year old. Media do blow thing out of proportion which is fake completely. Shraddha Kapoor has not written the article, so far. It is dubious completely.
Example 1 * Hindustan Times published an article indicating Varun Dhawan clears out rumours of dating Shraddha Kapoor, (stating shraddha kapoor is his childhood, they never dated) ----> http://www.hindustantimes.com/Entertainment/tabloid/Varun-Dhawan-speaks-up-on-link-up-rumour-with-Shraddha-Kapoor/Article1-1123723.aspx but later Varun Dhawan clarified on saying it is fabricated he have not use those words. --->https://twitter.com/Varun_dvn/status/380550726897778688
Example 2 * Zoom Tv Interview, she stated i was just born (but still a mystery she had not say the year), now if she was really 26 year old, she could have stated i was (3 years old), same apply for 24 year old, she could have say i was 1-2 year old as Aditya Roy Kapur (28 year old) clearly stated he was 5 year old.
Example 3 * 1992-1989 Both are the periods when Aashiqui released (1990). She never gave the exact year?? so, how can we use it as a source, that also would be dubious. See example, Katrina Kaif faced the same problem, see her reference source, the third link (is a Youtube link, clearly stating she was 28 year old in 2011). All these things had been already clarified and justified, again and again the topic is being re-discuss and re-dispute, the next time please try to prove some solid and valid sources?? Thank you so much --- Smauritius diR mWa!! 09:25, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
Smauritius I did not intend to imply that we should use the Zoom TV video as a source. My question is that when half the sources say 1992 and the other half say 1989, then why must we stick with the side that's completely illogical (as per numerous sources such as Shraddha announcing herself that she was born before July 1990). It's important to be intelligent, to not just list sources mechanically. Even if it IS only a matter of sources, then there are enough of those to reject 1992 if you are willing to be logical. The bottom line is that people copy Wikipedia. By people, I mean even journalists working for the biggest media houses. Write 1993, and after a few days, Shraddha will be 20 years old in a news story, and that will then be used as a source on Wikipedia. Same goes for 1987, 88, and so on. "With great power comes great responsibility." Xmisstree (talk) 04:59, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
Dear, Xmisstree, please view the edit war occurred before above in the following sections. Your proposal had already been exercised. Once upon a time, Wikipedia was not presenting her DOB, as there were many sources and it was lasted for couple of times, so far 21 year old gained a lot of reliable sources. E.g Mallika Sherawat, Wikipedia was not presenting her age for almost 3 years but still multiple newspapers were indicating her as 37-year old. I understand completely since your new/not regular in Wikipedia, but there are some policies as guidance. You should read them some include reliable sources, can't use our own deductions, Assumption of good faith, No original research required and there are many more. In every stage or reaction you will learn new things from Wikipedia, i am still learning so far? Thanks, hope to see you soon again --- Smauritius diR mWa!! 06:00, 4 December 2013 (UTC)

I still don't understand why my version which was as follows, Shraddha Kapoor (born March 3, 1992) is an Indian film actress and former model. Kapoor, the daughter of actor, Shakti Kapoor was born and raised in Mumbai. She studied at Boston University but left her freshman year to appear in her debut film Teen Patti (2010),[1] a box office flop for which she earned positive reviews and received a nomination for the Filmfare Best Female Debut. The following year she signed a three-film contract with Y-Films, making her first venture into teen comedy movie Luv Ka The End, the latter failed at the box office but Kapoor had experienced pleasant critics reviews and won the Stardust Award for Best Actress. In 2013, she gained wide recognition and favorable reviews by playing the protangonist Arohi Keshav Shirke in the blockbuster romantic musical drama film Aashiqui 2, the same year she appeared in the romantic comedy film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. Alongside her acting career, she participates in stage shows and is a celebrity endorser for several brands and products.' wasn't accepted --- Smauritius diR mWa!! 10:03, 16 December 2013 (UTC)

She became famous for her portrayal in Luv Ka The End (a female centric movie), and won the Stardust award for Best Actress, this should actually mention in the lead, just like in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, she had just a cameo, how she become popular of her role in the movie, she has not received any critic reviews. --- Smauritius diR mWa!! 11:44, 16 December 2013 (UTC)

One of the reasons tables should not be used when content can readily be displayed without them is because they are so complicated. WP:MOS/TABLE. Okay, done table format are not mandatory here, but i personally do feel all the awards and nominations received by (Shraddha Kapoor), should presented in the section, i don't think it's repetitive as, only wiki editors notice them in the above section, considering an anonymous person, he/she will never find out/or might face the problem to figure it out, presented it in the awards section, it can be a easy found. Recently, she was nominated in numerous category, in BIG Star Awards function. --- Smauritius diR mWa!! 09:05, 20 December 2013 (UTC)

After this description in the lead, ″Kapoor is a celebrity endorser for several brands.″, question arise which brands exactly.?? Okay, admitted she has been described as an Indian film actress, other thing required, she is noted in which movies. See example, for a supermodel, she is badly noted for her brand endorsements, By the way, appearing on certain kind of advertisement commercials don't you think make a person famous/recognized, Lakme, Gitanjali and Titan are big brands in India, advertisement commercials of these brands went on air in many channels. In some cases, some actresses become famous of being a spokesperson of multinational brands, example(s), Sonam Kapoor, an Indian actress, she is widely recognized as the spokes model of L'Oréal, Deepika Padukone, for Tissot, Shraddha herself for Wella & Vaseline—she is also noted as the brand ambassador(s) of certain brands, not only in movies, again don't think these should be noted?? --- Smauritius diR mWa!! 12:14, 21 December 2013 (UTC)

Hey, Smauritius. We're not trying to be mean to you. We definitely appreciate all the effort you've put into this article, and all your hard work. You have, after all, put in a lot of "the content" into this article. BUT, we as editors are ALSO trying to improve the article so that we can fix up any mistakes that you may have made (e.g. un-neutral point of view, grammar mistakes, etc.) That is what we have been doing. Claims like "Aashiqui 2 gave her wide critical acclaim" are very exaggerated, since there have been some negative comments from critics too..they weren't all positive, so it's a huge exaggeration. That's why we have been removing stuff like this. We're just trying to fix up any of your mistakes, but it's becoming a problem because you keep editting the page for no reason, and then we have to keep fixing it up. Smauritius left a message on my talk page about the filmography. She wasn't very clear, but I assume it's about this edit I made. It was very simple. I removed The Villain because whoever had added it said it was in pre-production - I didn't look any further than that. I changed Haider to Filming because that's the term we conventionally use. If The Villain is now filming, which its article seems to indicate with one of those Indian sources that's more fluff and murk than anything else, then it can be put back in with Filming in the Notes column.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:17, 21 December 2013 (UTC)
To get rid of this problem, ages back, i had proposed to use "upcoming". But no one followed that. Now they will write "filming", then they will come and write "post-production" and then various speculated dates "Release on 17 March 2014", "Release on 29 May 2014" and so on keep coming. Write "Upcoming" instead! §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 14:51, 21 December 2013 (UTC)
There are hundreds of pictures on the net showing her 'filming' for both these films. A simple Google search is sufficient. I don't understand why that is a problem when all FAs do the same? What a waste of time! --krimuk 90 16:15, 9 February 2014 (UTC)

Unreleased films

Unreleased films that are currently in production "will" be included in the filmography section as per this discussion. you are calling it a 2014 film. that is actively misrepresenting. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom
No. It's currently "filming" which automatically means it is 'scheduled' for a release in the year provided. Readers can surely understand that. --krimuk 90 19:15, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
hogwash and nonsense and unacceptable as rationale for article content. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 03:37, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

Also, now would you like to "challenge" her roles in all the films that have already released? Should I provide inline citations for all her films in the filmography? --krimuk 90 19:20, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
providing sources for unsourced content is never a bad thing. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 03:38, 5 March 2014 (UTC)
But assuming bad faith when sources are already present in the main body is not a very good thing. -- KRIMUK90  04:01, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

I think this is a fair source to use. There have been issues about the age of several Bollywood actresses in the past, and it is impossible to verify. But I have a feeling that won't be necessary, as this seems to be the right age.-- KRIMUK90  04:11, 6 March 2014 (UTC)

I don't agree with the DOB. Most of the evidence leads to her birth year as 1989. Here, the interviewer actually says "you're 24" (in Apr 2013), and Shraddha doesn't correct her. Why are we editing her birth year as 1989 just cos of one reliable source from Femina?? And I don't think CINTAA is reliable, considering they've actually listed Alia Bhatt's email address here. To clarify, the cited source in the article is ambiguous. Two statements address her schooling in the source: "I studied at Jamnabai Narsee School till class VIII and then went to American school after which I went to Boston, but dropped out after a year as I wanted to act" and a mention of "my first year at Boston".[emphasis added to both] While she likely means Boston University, that's a bit of a jump to conclusions; it's reasonably possible she means Boston College or some other school in metropolitan Boston. —C.Fred (talk) 13:39, 23 July 2014 (UTC)

Kapoor is also noted for her contribution in songs. She sang two of her films in which she received nominations, awards as well as critics. I was working on it until some users intervene. The page is not up to date, many works that she has done are not presented. When we contributed to it some users removed it. I'm okay with it's removal if you think it's not notable. What I'm not okay with is the reason he/she removed it; it was pure vendetta for your previous reverts. --Krimuk|90 (talk) 15:02, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
It could have been, but this could have also been an attempt to improve the editing too. I left a note on their talkpage right below yours so hopefully they can see it and chime in. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 15:04, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
I personally don't see anything wrong with the mention of two fashion shows in which she participated. --Krimuk|90 (talk) 15:06, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
Ok, when I see things like that I ask myself how was that notable? Was this somehow a special appearance or part of the reasons she is notable? I'm not saying she is not notable, obviously she is very popular but how much detail do we need? It's not overly spammy so it isn't going to ruin the article by staying place and doesn't harm anything but that is what I think of. You don't become a celebrity without having a lot of fixin's in that salad. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 15:09, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
Haha, agreed. That's why I'm okay if you want to remove it, though I don't think there's anything wrong if it stays put either. :) --Krimuk|90 (talk) 15:11, 5 July 2015 (UTC)

Discussion needed

Krimuk90, Atrociousrainbow, we need to scale back the revert warring, please. Can we get some dialogue going here?

I personally don't agree with this edit from Atrociousrainbow. First of all "rose to fame" is both a cliche and comes across as puffery, but the main thing I don't get is why you changed something quantifiable like "all of which earned over 1 billion (US$13 million) worldwide" to "all of which rank among the highest-grossing Bollywood films".

Now, maybe the 1 billion thing isn't very clear--do we mean that each film made that much? Or that the total of the films made $1 billion? It's also a bit arbitrary--I guess we're just saying that she's a 100 crore club actor without saying "100 crore club"? But the alternative "All of which rank among the highest-grossing Bollywood films" is equally problematic. Do we mean the highest-grossing five Bollywood films? Ten Bollywood films? Top 100 Bollywood films? It's no better. Seems like something that anyone could claim if they moved the goalposts close enough. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 09:39, 11 September 2016 (UTC)

My point was, earning over 1 billion (US$13 million), is not explicit enough to prove that the films are blockbusters as no where it has mentioned the actual budget of each, i mean—a film [...] it is declared a blockbuster and a highest grossing one when the film collection covers and double or triple the total budget of what it has made of, and apparently all the films have done it so far—i found it quite dubious in the first place [...] that is why i had changed it. I was referring that what if the film itself was made in a budget of over 1 billion (US$13 million). All these had already been disputed and corrected and honestly i like the current version, the issue here [...] is her ethnicity???? Do we really need to insert it or not. Atrociousrainbow (talk) 10:32, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
Her ethnicity being Marathi is dubious and does not add to her profile in any way. An actor's ethnicity, religion, caste and other such information are superfluous and they shouldn't be included in the infobox at all. As for the other issue, I've rephrased it already. Krimuk|90 (talk) 11:07, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
Ok, as you wish—if you really think that these things are redundant [...] it's perfectly fine, her ethnicity being Marathi is dubious because she is half Punjabi i guess. Atrociousrainbow (talk) 11:32, 11 September 2016 (UTC)

Birthdate

Since there is an obvious discrepancy about the subject's date of birth (not surprising with Indian film subjects...) I've presented the information in the form of a range in these edits. One source says she was born 3 March 1989[6] and another says she was born 3 March 1987.[7] Unless someone is able to argue definitively that her DOB is X, the content should be presented in the form of a range. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:13, 5 January 2017 (UTC)

She was indeed born on 1987 and there are many sources to prove that but unfortunately none of them are considered reliable as per Wikipedia policy. Her official facebook is more authentic here. I'll try update them on the talk page once i get some spare time. Atrociousrainbow (talk) 11:12, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
@Atrociousrainbow: Though I'm a bit late on your response, my response is this: Maybe there's a reason why those sources are not considered reliable? Anyway, typically the behavior is to make an actor younger, and in this case that's not happening, as the verified Facebook page has her pegged older than what the other editors are attempting to force in with the 1989 DOB. So I'm inclined to think that 1987 is more correct, but there still is a discrepancy, and unless some reliable source is distinctly calling out the data as false, or if Kapoor herself hasn't settled the issue by proving it to some reliable sources, it's not out of the question that the information should be presented in the form of a range. That's what we've done for a number of celebrities, including Mariah Carey, Charo#Date of birth and Doris Day. You should keep this in the back of your mind, since it may come up again. Also I'm not sure how you could know definitively that she was born in 1987 unless you witnessed it. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:15, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

Awards/honors edit-war

Hi all, can we please get a discussion going here re: the various awards and honors Kapoor2013 is adding to the article? This seems to be a contentious issue. Krish! you seem to have strong opinions against some of them. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:27, 28 February 2018 (UTC)

Those "honors" are style awards and are handed like candies in Bollywood awards to people who attend those crappy shows. But I am not against them because those things happen at main awards like Shitfare, ShIFFA and Shitcreen awards too. And, a lot of people agree that these awards are NOT notable and are constantly questioned at FLC. I have faced a lot of questions regarding adding those initially but I think it is best to remove those awards because they are not notable like the "reputed but still shitty" Filmfare and other joke awards.Krish | Talk 19:30, 28 February 2018 (UTC)

According to what reliable source is she the unknown caller? —C.Fred (talk) 17:25, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
@SNJY3012: Just to add context to C.Fred's question, if the subject is not credited in a film, we would need some secondary source that corroborates that fact. Otherwise, how do we know? Because we recognise her voice? That's not sufficient. As for any other film she might be in, only if it has begun filming would we add it to her filmography. A person shouldn't receive credit for work they haven't done yet. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:43, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

Unfortunatly I cant send links here, but on DNAindia there was an article for example, and other sites which says she was picked for Malang but due to date issues she couldnt, but was approaced to do a small part, which will continue in the second part. Shraddha’s Nicknames

Shraddha Kapoor has many nick/pet names that should be included in this article about her. Iknowthingsaboutstuff1 (talk) 20:11, 10 August 2020 (UTC)

@Iknowthingsaboutstuff1: Why would nicknames be relevant? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:53, 10 August 2020 (UTC)

If it’s an article about SHRADDHA KAPOOR then their should be stuff about SHRADDHA KAPOOR. Iknowthingsaboutstuff1 (talk) 16:53, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information and trivia, so unless you can explain why these should be included, I'm not really clear on what value random nicknames would have. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:13, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

Okay, whatever you say. Iknowthingsaboutstuff1 (talk) 19:52, 11 August 2020 (UTC)

In Shraddha Kapoor’s career, it should be mentioned that she will also be next seen in Naagin as Luv Ranjan’s next has also been stated. Iknowthingsaboutstuff1 (talk) 22:52, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

We don't add unsourced content. And if this is a film, we wouldn't add the information until filming had begun. If this is a television show, this wouldn't be added until she appeared on the series. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 13:10, 11 January 2021 (UTC)

Kindly, change her birth year to 1989. It's not a professional act to fake a celebrity's age. There are several sources which prove that she was born in 1989. In fact, in the Anupama Talk Interview, she said that her age is 24 as of April 2013 infront of her. Therefore, her current age is 33. Greatly influenced (talk) 17:41, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

Birth year

I kindly request to change her birth year to 1989. No any reliable sources indicated that her birth year is 1987 until and unless someone edited it on Wikipedia. I've got many reliable sources before the time period of those sources which incredibly stated that her birth year is 1987.

Greatly influenced, please be patient on this and not fret. Opening a second request doesn't speed up the process, only slows it down. Nothing's going to happen if the info which stayed there for years continues to be there for a day or two. Let us evaluate the merit of these sources to make the required change.
@Fylindfotberserk: We have two sources here–Anupama Chopra and Times of India. In both these sources, Kapoor doesn't say her age herself, rather it's told in the third party's voice. So these can be taken as WP:SECONDARY sources. Sure, this information might be fed by Kapoor but after all, secondary sources "rely on primary sources for their material."
The Indian Express article is a rather weak source, imv. Just a slideshow with no byline. It's also published at later date than the above sources which makes it more susceptible to tampering. Also unclear how IE got this information which may not matter that much normally but should be considered when it's a case of conflicting sources. So, I believe there's enough evidence to make the change. -- Ab207 (talk) 05:53, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
@Ab207 Here's another one! Kapoor on the magazine cover post Teen Patti release (March 2010) which clearly signifies that her age in 2010 was 21 which means that her current age is 33.

And I've one more from a Magazine shoot in January 2011 where it is stated that her age is 21. Therefore, in present her age is 33. Greatly influenced (talk) 06:48, 20 June 2022 (UTC)

@Greatly influenced: What part of "Not opening at my end" don't you understand? It is self-explanatory (URL not opening at my end). And don't accuse us of 'faking a celebrity's age', rude behavior like this contravenes WP:CIVIL, hence blockable. Also the Wikipedia community doesn't work for you or Ms Kapoor. Whatever is written is in the article as of now is based on sources and the changes will be made after reaching a WP:CONSENSUS - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 09:32, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
@Ab207: These calendar like/slideshow sources are problematic. I use them as a last resort, since probability of WP:CIRCULAR increases in these cases. These two sources posted above, reported by Avinash Lohana and Priya Gupta are far better. Could you link Anupama Chopra's report you mentioned above? Are there old reliable sources (not slide show) mentioning 1987 birth of the subject? Have to check it from all angles. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 09:46, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
Pinging @Krimuk2.0 and Ravensfire: for their inputs - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 09:49, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
@Fylindfotberserk I am sorry if I sounded to be rude.
Kapoor's birth year since her debut was mentioned as 1989 only. I have no idea how this 1987 came out of, probably someone took that Indian Express slideshow into consideration and henceforth edited her dob on Wikipedia or it could be intentionally edited by someone relying on some unreliable source.
Anyway, I've got few more sources from her debut and rising times. Please cross check them once. All these sources signify her birth year as 1989.

@Greatly influenced:It's OK. According to this revision, User:Nyuszika7H changed her birth year from 1989 to 1987 based on her verified Facebook page per an edit request here on 3 July 2015. Before that the article maintained 1989 without any source to back it up all the way to early 2015. The page didn't have DOB for sometimes (I didn't check older diffs), but the first (create page) version of the article had a birth year of 1987 [22] (25 May 2009). As for the verified Facebook profile, it seems like it got updated and I'm unable to get any archive version of it. The Indian Express source was probably used later possibly per WP:Independent policy. This is the chronology of things per the diffs. I agree that the sources you provided are older and much more reliable. Considering the above case with the verified Facebook profile, I wonder if there are older sources supporting a 1987 birth. Just checking for probabilities before committing to one. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:45, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
When sources differ on something like this, Wikipedia should report both ages with the reliable sources that support them. Ravensfire (talk) 17:21, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
@Ravensfire I support your opinion.
Pinging @Ab207 @Fylindfotberserk @Krimuk2.0 for their thoughts on this. Greatly influenced (talk) 18:00, 20 June 2022 (UTC)

Firstpost mentions her age as 35 in 2022, as does Zee News, NDTV, Indian Express, Vogue, and Hindustan Times. I don't alwats trust Pinkvilla but check out this article which talks about her age. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 11:58, 20 June 2022 (UTC)

  • Btw check out this interview that her aunt Padmini Kolhapure gave. She said that Shraddha's mother, Shivangi, was pregnant in 1986 and so couldn't attend her wedding. Pinkvilla says she got married on 14 August 1986, so if Shraddha was born in March 1987, Shivangi would have been two months pregnant then. It's thus quite obvious that Shraddha was born in 1987. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 12:16, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
@Krimuk2.0 Pages like NDTV, IE, Zee News, Vogue etc. mentioned her age as 35 since they all rely on Wikipedia now, therefore no any other option left considering Wikipedia article itself a source.
Pinkvilla article seems bogus to me as 1992 was never a birth year neither did it was mentioned somewhere until and unless someone probably went for vandalism.
We cannot rely on Filmfare interview as it is the only source indicating her birth year as 1987.
As such, I've come out for a conclusion that we should change her DOB to 1989 since most of the sources signify that she was born in 1989. Since her debut, it was mentioned 1989 only.
I suggest you to check the Anupama Chopra interview. Time stamp is 06:50.
The interview was taken in April 2013. The interviewer that her age is 24 which means that today her age is 33. Note that the interviewer called out the age infront of Kapoor. When Shraddha herself signals her dob as 1989 then I think we should not rely on sources like Pinkvilla and Filmfare. Atleast not for her aunt's interview and references to pregnancy. Greatly influenced (talk) 14:21, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
It's not uncommon for actors to lie about their age. But why would her aunt make up an anecdote of her sister's pregnancy? Krimuk2.0 (talk) 14:47, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
The 2013 Filmfare article carries weight, since it comes from her aunt. She particularly mentions her marriage year (1986) and the background regarding it. It is not a case of how many sources we can come up with supporting one narrative. As for the video, "Shraddha herself signals her dob as 1989" makes it kind of WP:SPS / WP:PRIMARY source, and in Wikipedia we rely on secondary sources. There are many cases of celebs faking their ages / media making mistakes; and we have been dealing that in Wikipedia. When multiple birth years are reliably sourced, we mention both if necessary and we have a consensus for that. Even in the featured-article Mariah_Carey, we had this arrangement, till editors were able to find a birth announcement in an old newspaper from her hometown. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 14:51, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
So what's the final decision? We shall include both the birth years then. Greatly influenced (talk) 15:00, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
@Fylindfotberserk @Krimuk2.0 As per my suggestion, the dob should be changed to 1989. Regarding her Facebook page, I think it was created by a fan or someone not in contact with Kapoor. We cannot rely on the Filmfare interview since it's not a video or clip. Most of the time, Filmfare has been caught publishing fake news so we should atleast not believe it. Same goes with Pinkvilla. I've checked out the previous revisions of Kapoor's article where the user who made this made himself/herself changed her DOB to 1989.
As such, we should change it to 1989 considering all the debut sources. If we find, something new related to her birth year then we shall change it afterwards. Greatly influenced (talk) 17:13, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
That Facebook handle is not a fan page, it has a blue tick, that is verified, bearing the introdescription "The official Facebook page for Shraddha Kapoor". What are the evidences that the Filmfare interview is fake? If it had some discrepancies with Padmini Kolhapure's marriage year then maybe yes, but she did marry in 1986 which the Filmfare article corroborates. FYI, The Times of India is not considered reliable in some cases, so does many other portals. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:24, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
@Fylindfotberserk Okay I agree that the wedding happened in 1986 but what about Shivangi Kolhapure's pregnancy? Do we have any reliable sources to believe that she was pregnant in 1986? Fine, I agree that the Time of India article is fake but what about Anupama Chopra's interview? Kapoor's age was told 24 infront of her. So we should rather focus on the video clips then instead of relying on sources like Filmfare, Pinkvilla right? If celebrities lie about their age then it's their personal opinion but we cannot deny to edit their age. No wonder if Kapoor was not lying and her dob is actually 1989. So we should respect their choice and input their age as per their thoughts. Greatly influenced (talk) 17:57, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
Reiterating what Krimuk2.0 said above − "But why would her aunt make up an anecdote of her sister's pregnancy?" And video clips like these are within the WP:PRIMARY / WP:SPS territory and comes with similar pros and cons associated with them as pointed out in the policy. While all of these can be potentially self-serving, "birth-days" and "birth-months" are far less likely to be questioned unlike "birth-years" and "places of birth". "So we should respect their choice and input their age as per their thoughts" ← This is exactly what WP:SPS means. That's the reason I asked for WP:Independent initially. You've provided many in support of the 1989 birth. I was kinda leaning towards it till Krimuk2.0 posted sources in support of 1987, especially the Filmfare interview of her aunt. It is hard to deny, unless you can prove the interview was fake. At best we can have "both birth years" like I explained above. Pinging @Kailash29792, Arjayay, Panda619, Sid95Q, and DRAGON BOOSTER: for inputs. Oh, and TOI and other news portals are not "fake", just that the sources should be scrutinized. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 19:22, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
@Fylindfotberserk We should include both the years along with their references till we get another proof that in which year she was born, in my opinion. Greatly influenced (talk) 19:26, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
@Krimuk2.0 @Ravensfire @Fylindfotberserk Check out this recent interview of Kapoor. Time stamp is 18:00. Here she tells that she was around 20 or 21 during Teen Patti times (2009/2010). This clearly indicates that she was born in 1989.
Therefore, according to me, we shouldn't rely on that Filmfare article which is in the form of text and regarding Shivangi's pregnancy, it is still a mystery since we do not have any other source except Filmfare. Greatly influenced (talk) 07:10, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
Pinging @Ab207 for their input. Greatly influenced (talk) 15:01, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
While the Filmfare interview works in favour of 1987, it's borderline WP:SYNTH as it requires combining multiple sources. So mentioning both the years with a note explaining the same would be an ideal way to go. -- Ab207 (talk) 15:17, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
@Ab207 Although I agree with you but I guess going for the one where Kapoor herself states her age would be more appropriate, we cannot rely on her aunt's text statement completely. Greatly influenced (talk) 15:38, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
@Greatly influenced: "The one where Kapoor herself states her age would be more appropriate" is WP:SPS, thus not suitable. Ab207, the Filmfare source will help to bolster the possible 1987 birth year, there are other sources to support that. The Filmfare interview can be used as a note for that purpose. While BollywoodShaadi is not an WP:ICTF compliant reliable source, but two artilcles from it quotes the interview and mentions the part [23] and [24]. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:09, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
@Fylindfotberserk But whatever Kapoor has stated in that interview herself is a signal which support 1989 as her birth year and reiterating the Anupama Chopra's interview once again which supports the same. So, what's the final decision? The BollywoodShaadi article quoted the Filmfare interview only and it is still not determined if Shivangi was pregnant in 1986 only. Even, Kapoor's team on Twitter mentioned her DOB as 3 March 1989. We should reach a consensus as soon as possible and make the changes. Greatly influenced (talk) 16:30, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
@Greatly influenced: I think you are missing the point. "Kapoor has stated in that interview herself" is exactly where the problem lies because it's contradicting other sources. We cannot make an assumption that she's being truthful when she's working in a profession where age has a noticeable impact on her career.
"We should reach a consensus as soon as possible and make the changes": There is no deadline to meet. -- Ab207 (talk) 16:54, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

@Ab207 But we cannot depend on sources like Filmfare. Filmfare itself has been found many a times publishing fake articles. I still doubt Shivangi Kapoor's pregnancy year. Filmfare is only the article supporting 1987 as her birth year whereas most of the sources denote 1989 since her debut. There is no deadline but there are probably no more sources left which support 1987 much. If we have reached a certain consensus then we shall make changes. In future, if any new source is found then the changes shall be made again. Greatly influenced (talk) 17:01, 21 June 2022 (UTC)

(edit conflict) *1987 birth year is being maintained in this article for the past 6 years, why the haste now? WP:CONSENSUS will take some time (few days atleast). WP:RFCS takes 30 days typically, if you go that way. As for her aunt's interview in Filmfare, you didn't provide any evidence that the specific article is fake. And it is not the only one. There are many sources posted above by Krimuk2.0 that support 1987.
  • Kapoor's team on Twitter mentioned her DOB as 3 March 1989 — This is a case of WP:SPS and is potentially "self-serving". Please read it, I've been linking this all along. As I said above, at best we can have both birth years. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:32, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
@Fylindfotberserk But we should be fair with age of a particular celebrity atleast no matter from how many years the thing is being maintained. If I cannot prove the Filmfare article wrong then the magazines where her birth year is mentioned as 1989 are not bogus either.
"As I said above, at best we can have both birth years." Then let's go for that since it's more like an edit conflict at this point because both the sources 1989 and 1987 seem to be confusing at this moment. Greatly influenced (talk) 17:43, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
I'm OK with mentioning both birth years. Lets wait for others. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 19:30, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
I am okay as well. Pinging @Ab207 @Krimuk2.0 @Ravensfire for their inputs. Greatly influenced (talk) 04:06, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
I think the current dob needs remain as is, coz of the reasons I've pointed out above, and since a majority of sources continue to use it. But we can add a footnote noting the discrepancy in earlier sources. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 07:25, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
@Krimuk2.0 But a majority of sources support 1989 as well. I have found out a few more article scans where her age denotes 1989 as the year when she was born.
Only Filmfare report which I doubt regarding the pregnancy quote, supports 1987. I wonder what that Facebook page source tells since it doesn't exist anymore probably someone not belong to Kapoor have edited it or not, that remains a mystery.
I have provided as much sources which signify 1989 as I could, including Kapoor herself telling her age but we'll that's another case according to Wikipedia policy but Anupama Chopra 's interview too support 1989 only. The magazine covers and articles which I provided too support 1989.
If we rely on Filmfare article interview only then according to me it seems to be biased.
Therefore, putting both the birth years so that it won't create any malfunction in the future is the best option. Greatly influenced (talk) 07:42, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
Can you not repeat the same points repeatedly? We've heard what you have to say, so now let's hear what others say. We can have an WP:RFC to bring in more people. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 07:46, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
I am not repeating the same points. In fact, I provided more sources. Not being biased, but the only Filmfare source is being supported here meanwhile the so many sources which I provided are being declined. Greatly influenced (talk) 07:51, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
As Fylindfotberserk has pointed out to you before, that's not true. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 07:59, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
Then why do you want to keep the current year as is? It's okay if you are going against my sources and opinions but a majority of sources support 1989 as well. Repeating the same point since I want a proper clarification from you. Greatly influenced (talk) 08:04, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
Think we should be mention both the years while noting the discrepancies. Filmfare interview involves combing multiple sources including some leeway to generally non-RS sites. It's most likely correct but not 100% foolproof. -- Ab207 (talk) 12:45, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
@Ab207 OK then I think the majority has voted for mentioning both the years so let's do that only while referencing to their respective sources.
"Filmfare interview involves combing multiple sources including some leeway to generally non-RS sites." - But if this is a case then let's mention 1989 only till we get more sources. What's your opinion on this? Greatly influenced (talk) 13:51, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
@Greatly influenced: No, there are other sources indicating 1987, and Filmfare is more of a supporting source, so it can't be ignored. Again, this is not a vote because Wikipedia is not a democracy. -- Ab207 (talk) 13:59, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
@Ab207 Then what is to be done? We can include both the years, imo. Greatly influenced (talk) 14:03, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
Pinging @Geniac and @ManaliJain for their inputs. Greatly influenced (talk) 17:04, 22 June 2022 (UTC)

As others have pointed out to you, there is no deadline. There is no vote. Consensus is built over time from discussion. My understanding of current practice aligns with Ab207; when reliable sources contradict, we include both while noting the discrepancies. --Geniac (talk) 03:06, 23 June 2022 (UTC)

Even I agree that both should be included. I am not being impatient but we have been discussing this since 5 days now, if we have reached a certain consensus then shall the changes be made now? @Geniac Greatly influenced (talk) 04:19, 23 June 2022 (UTC)
I'm agreeing with Ab207 and Ravensfire. Since the sources differ, it is better to go along with the suggestion of including both the ages with reliable sources supporting them. ManaliJain (talk) 05:41, 23 June 2022 (UTC)

Accolades 2022

She has recently won Lokmat Most Stylish Power Icon Award 2022. I think it should be mentioned in the accolades section. Greatly influenced (talk) 04:55, 25 October 2022 (UTC)

And dome more awards are there, Idk why they aren't changing Shraddha's award list. Is this because they are jealous of her. Chsnge it pls..... 42.104.157.202 (talk) 10:00, 14 March 2023 (UTC)

Date of Birth issues again

If Kapoor's aunt stated in an interview that her mother was pregnant in 1986 and was expecting a baby then how come we be sure that the child was Shraddha Kapoor only? Greatly influenced (talk) 14:26, 21 July 2022 (UTC)

Even IMDb states her birth year as 1989.
Pinging @Ab207 for their input. Greatly influenced (talk) 13:20, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
"how come we be sure that the child was Shraddha Kapoor only?"
@Greatly influenced: Yeah, that's why we mentioned both the dates, else we'd have removed 1989 altogether. WP:IMDB is not a reliable source, it's user summitted data. -- Ab207 (talk) 13:25, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
@Ab207 In my opinion, many sources support 1989 whereas that Filmfare article which itself is a mystery that the child was Shraddha Kapoor only when Shivangi was pregnant in 1986. Greatly influenced (talk) 14:40, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
@Greatly influenced: Let me get this straight. Last month, you made a request to include both the years. Since that is achieved now, you seem to push it further and ask the other year to be removed entirely? I'm sorry, that's not how consensus works. Unless you can find newer and compelling evidence, we are not going to revisit that anytime soon. Thanks -- Ab207 (talk) 14:49, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
But I gave a reason for that. Therefore I pinged you. It's fine if you don't find my evidence new and compelling. Thank you for your cooperation! Greatly influenced (talk) 15:26, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
is her own website a reliable source? https://web.archive.org/web/20140407084542/http://shraddha-kapoor.com/SHRADDHA.html it says 1989 XxakixX (talk) 12:03, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
Well, this is only the Trailer, the picture is yet to start. Google claims she was born in the Year 1992 also. Once a Queen always a Queen. Poor, Deepika Padukone she played Rani Padmini on-screen, and Kapoor plays it in real life. What to do? That's why we say don't ostracise someone so much. Only legends will understand this. You know what I mean. Atrociousrainbow (talk) 11:16, 26 April 2023 (UTC)

@Poojasraj You have left multiple comments on the talk page like this one, all indicating sources which are not considered appropriate for adding information to Wikipedia. (IMDB, Instagram, and other social media sites are not reliable sources per WP:RS).
If you review the link I've included above to understand what ARE reliable sources, and find one of these to support the information you'd like added, feel free to do so. You need to provide the link to a reliable source, not demand that someone else find one for you. No one will make changes based on requests like these. Thanks!
