What's the source for the June 6 1995 release date in Japan? I checked Famitsu, and they don't seem to have the game listed (unless I missed it). I looked up the supposed release date, and searched for "スワットカッツ". I also searched google for "スワットカッツ" and "1995年6月9日", and the only thing that came up was the JP Wiki. "スワットカッツ" SFC 1995" also brings up only the JP wiki.
"スワットカッツ" is what the JP wiki says the series is called in Japan. Did the game use the same name or something else?
I also can't find it on this list of officially released American SNES titles.
It could be that this game was made, set for a release date, preview copies sent out for review, then cancelled. Harizotoh9 (talk) 19:26, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
Gamefaqs, and other sites list an American release, and those tend to be reliable for release info. They are relying on some database most likely. They only mention a US release, and not a Japanese release. I don't think this game was ever released in Japan. Harizotoh9 (talk) 13:56, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
