Regarding the July 2019 articles on online toxicity in Mordhau

Due to the controversies on this game newly developing and a lot of hearsay on whether or not some features are even real or not, it's best to wait for more credible sources before actually implementing a "controversies" section. Right now, it's a Firehose of Falsehood with many blogs claiming a controversy simply based on quantity. • For what it's worth, I have ensured that the sources cited in my edits are sources that have either been established by consensus as reliable, per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Video_games/Sources (e.g. Ars Technica, PC Gamer, Kotaku), or online magazines outside of the VG industry with their own editorial system (e.g. Paste Magazine). Each source also has directly quoted Triternion employees. For example, PC Gamer had published the full transcript of the Triternion employees' remarks, and the sources listed above contain external links to statements made by Triternion employees/staff, e.g. posts on their own forums. Because of the fact that the sources are publicly verifiable, from an objective perspective as an editor, it's probably best to neutrally state what has happened.   • Everything has been refuted by developer: . Assuming a reversion to protect developer is an accusation of bad faith which is both baseless and unwelcome. Additionally, there is no need for a Wikipedia article's "controversies" section to be larger any of the other subsections. It's understandable that time was spent on searching sources, but this is not a "controversy" on the article's topic itself.     • Hey Absolutionis, I reassure you that I haven't been reverting any deletions, as seen in the logs. I only want to talk about what makes these series of events not relevant to the game (and therefore the Wiki article). I reread the initial PC Gamer article - from what I understand, the allegations stem not from a misinterpretation of information, but from Triternion's indifference towards player usage of sexist, homophobic, and racist language, compared to how other companies handle toxicity. For example, the articles cite this thread: [1], which has existed on the Mordhau forums since 2017 and whose post title was defended by a staff member. Just like the thread title, the mention of "toggle options" for ethnicity and gender in the articles only serve to present Triternion's point of view on how they handle their game's community, which is affecting other players' perception of the game as a whole.
      
      Yes, I would like to see the other sections in the Wiki article expanded so that they are longer, for sure! However, just because the developer walked back earlier statements, doesn't mean that the statements shouldn't be mentioned at all on the Wikipedia page, nor does it mean that the sources cited are "blog-like" and therefore not valid (they remain fine with Wikipedia editors -- see earlier comment on this). It's not as simple as a misunderstanding by journalists -- it's objectively a series of events and decisions made by the developers that have affected the game's community. Wikipedia goes by reliable sources. This information is well-supported by sources, and the game developer doesn't have the final say on this article, because Wikipedia isn't a platform for public relations. I have restored the content.
