"The developers" versus "a developer" edit

In both references provided for "The developers were further criticized in the gaming press for stating that if Metro Exodus did not sell well on the Epic Games Store, its sequels may become console exclusives", the articles make very clear that the threat came from one single developer on a Russian forum, and the publishers and fellow developers do not agree with his stance nor do they feel his statement represents them. I apologize for deleting the entire segment instead of actively implementing this fact into the edit, but I also feel that the information is unnecessary to begin with, since as I have just clarified, this is one developer we're talking about who does not represent the entire development team's sentiments. I can understand if you disagree with me on the segment's significance, but I won't relent on the distinction between the weightless statement of one developer with whom his fellow developers and publishers do not agree and implicating the entire development team. Agreed and mostly fixed. Maybe some minor wordsmithing. It's dishonest not to note this was a single developer, not 4A Games, or to omit their response. -- ferret (talk) 00:15, 9 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

I'm glad this was ironed out, and again, I apologize for deleting the entire segment instead of making the necessary changes.--Zats A Fact (talk) 01:02, 9 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Name spelling edit

Hi @Ferret: That's how these Ukrainian names are spelled in English. You are aware 4A Games is a Ukrainian company, right? See recent interview for example where co-founder Andriy Prokhorov specifically says that "even after moving main office to Malta in 2014 (they still have 2nd, smaller office in Kyiv), they remain a Ukrainian company" Metro Exodus. Українці створили гру про постапокаліпсис у Росії (in Ukrainian).--Piznajko (talk) 02:37, 18 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Ps. The only exception I would say is Andrew Prokhorenko (since in LinkedIn he spells his name in and English manner as "Andrew", rather than the original (birth name) Andriy, see https://www.linkedin.com/in/andrew-prokhorov-89219b17/?originalSubdomain=ua )--Piznajko (talk) 02:40, 18 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

the russian leadership didnt even go to the ark, notes there say that none of the "bigwigs" ever arrived, and the construction workers and some officers occupied it. 156.223.10.155 (talk) 22:45, 18 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

~In the first Plot paragraph, there is a 'y' missing. Currently it reads:

"who have also captured other prisoners who reveal the come from outside of Moscow."

But should read:

"who have also captured other prisoners who reveal they come from outside of Moscow." 2A00:23C5:EAA5:2600:B852:9B23:E3C9:F27A (talk) 23:03, 20 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yamatau foes are not government edit

They seem to be the workers who dug and made the bunker. Diary 1 and 2 explicitly state that the government never actually made it to Yamatau. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.48.192.105 (talk) 05:12, 1 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Plot Summary currently does not include Volga section of game, which happens after leaving Moscow but before arriving at Yamantau. Volga is where Anna contracts her tuberculosis, when she falls down and faints in the radioactive ammo dump. Skipping Volga also leaves out meeting Krest, the engineer, Katya and Nastya, who is the nurse that takes care of Anna and her sickness and saves Artyom at the end with the blood transfusion. Volga is too important too be omitted. Erocknine (talk) 08:01, 3 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

@OceanHok: Hi, I've looked through the article, and I can't find anything to hold this article back. Instant Pass. I wound back some IP edits that added what seemed to be needless detail to the plot, but otherwise... --ProtoDrake (talk) 12:12, 13 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
