Untitled edit

Ok this is possibly my first edit/talk on wiki so go easy if I'm not following the rules. First of all is it right that the second synthesis is listed after the first one in the initial paragraph (i.e. LNA was independently synthesized by the group of Jesper Wengel[3] in 1998, soon after the first synthesis by the group of Takeshi Imanishi[4]. You would think you would acknowledge the authors of the first synthesis first. Also I'm not sure that reference 3 is actually the first report of this by the authors. I believe the first is in the RSC journal Chemical Communications (http://pubs.rsc.org/en/content/articlelanding/1998/cc/a708608c) where the report was submitted to this journal one month before it was submitted to the tetrahedron journal. I should declare for openness and transparency that I am an editor for Chemical Communications (searching through old articles is how I came across this) however I don't believe this changes the facts of the submission date and I believe that due recognition should be given to the original source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RossMcL1 (talkcontribs) 16:01, 14 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
