Notable Japanese cast

edit

What would be the appropriate section to add the notable Japanese film actors who are participating in this video game. many of these actors have extensive resumes and some awards. Should we extend the Gameplay mention of Takuya Kimura to add supporting roles?

Editor TheDeviantPro rightfully removed an earlier standalone cast section, but I think that the mainstream actors deserve a mention since it's not a normal occurrence. -- GimmeChoco44 (talk) 17:43, 12 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Japanese title Judge Eyes in summary paragraph

edit

Don't know if it makes sense to keep the temporary project name ("Project Judge") in the top summary paragraph, but not include the actual Japanese title "Judge Eyes" until the development section. As the game's US release gets closer, I'm seeing game site articles mention the Japanese title as "Project Judge" and neglect the official title. Any objections to moving this up for the sake of clarity? — Preceding unsigned comment added by GimmeChoco44 (talkcontribs) 04:57, 26 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Total sales

edit

@Osh33m: There seems to be a strange placement of total sales the game had by January 2019 in Japan. However, most sources seem to be unreliable due to them being forums or too big. Pinging Osh33m since he has quite an experience with the entire franchise to the point the media article mentions every amount of sales. If possible, whoever adds it, at least make it a reliable source like Sega's official blog in order to pass the requirements needed to be a reliable source. Cheers.Tintor2 (talk) 22:09, 4 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

FYI, Media Create is a reliable source for Japanese sales figures, and you are right that some of the sources are traced back to ResetEra. However, I think it is fair to point out that the posts sourced on that forum are only for translations, not as a source in and of itself for sales numbers. --Osh33m (talk) 01:02, 5 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

I’ll be reviewing this shortly. Toa Nidhiki05 19:50, 21 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
Prose
  • The word "yakuza" appears to be inconsistently italicized throughout the article. This should be corrected to be consistent, unless standards are different for members of the yakuza vs the yakuza itself
    • Done
  • In the lede, reword "Takayuki Yagami as he and his allies" to "Takayuki Yagami and his allies as they"
    • Done
  • In characters, pipe "Korean films" to Cinema of Korea
    • Done
  • In release, change "has 60 frames per second" to "runs at 60 frames per second" and pipe frames per second to frame rate
  • Done
  • In remastered, change "suffered" to "struggled"
    • Done.
Conclusion

Overall, fantastic article - really well done, Tintor2! Just a handful of prose issues. Once these are addressed, it's good to go. Great work - and now I'm interested in the game! On top of the article there is the "Not to be confused with [Judgment: Apocalypse Survival Simulation.]". I wonder if this is actually necessary - is there a way to see if the second article is at all interest in such magnite that someone might be confused? No idea. If it's that bad I say remove it.Tintor2 (talk) 11:35, 27 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
