This article isn't very good, it needs more elaboration, and it also seems to be implying that draw distance is a 'feature' of games, e.g. GTA.

Microsoft Flight Simulator

Doesn't MFS have like the longest draw distance in any game? You are maybe 30,000 feet above ground and entire mountains can be seen (though with poor texture)
