Prerequisites for ultimate

edit

According to the article:

"For a Digimon to grow into Ultimate level, Digimon must at least battle fifteen times in Rookie and Champion levels.

Digimon could only reach the Ultimate level by battling 40 times in their lifetime and winning at least 60% of them (unconfirmed)."

Why are two contradicting statements written in the same paragraph? Since no sources are used, (i.e. orginal research, but is [probably] acceptable in a document like this), the more "reliable" one should be included. I'm pretty sure that there's a minimum win percentage, but "40 times" is by far too high in terms of number.

Since nobody has answered me, I've fixed this.

Digimon VI

edit

The section on VI I believe is entirely wrong. First off, you state that it is only rumoured, however it is very much real, and is an official product from Bandai. Secondly, the list of digimon are very much wrong. The digimon available, are from the Digimon II.

Compared to the American/Global versions, the Digimon VI, seems like an entirely new product, gameplay-wise. The Training system involves bar going up and down, while you try to stop it at the very end. Only then will your digimon, lose the weight.

The Ultimate Digimon, from my experience are also obtained diferently. There is only one ultimate if I remember correctly, Tekkamon, and to obtain it, there is no battle limit. The only requirement is to have 60%+. I may be wrong about this, there may be a way to get the other ultimates, such as winning 15, or 40 battles with 60% on record.

This article is a mess.

edit

It's redundant, it's dubious, it's poorly formatted...where are all the Digimon fanboys? Someone please clean this up with sources, or I'll chop all out. 69.182.67.235 (talk) 02:46, 20 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I agree that it's kind of bogged down with useless detail, but considering it's what started the rest of the Digimon media, I don't think it would be prudent to erase the whole article. 205.133.172.113 (talk) 20:13, 24 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I just added the(so far)only citations and refs on this page.--Rockclaw1030 (talk) 19:02, 17 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
