Proposed Icon Change

edit

There should be a more suitable icon than the Mozilla dinosaur for Project Digimon, don't you think? 99.60.125.39 (talk) 22:14, 2 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Digimon: The Movie Angela Anaconda short

edit

On the Digimon: The Movie article, there's no mention about the Angela Anaconda short that was played before it. Could someone add this in? --Victory93 (talk) 08:51, 9 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Does it have any direct relevance to the Digimon movie? Arsonal (talk) 20:04, 9 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes as its about SEEING the movie. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.10.184.101 (talk) 14:05, 10 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request for comment on Biographies of living people

edit

Hello Wikiproject! Currently there is a discussion which will decide whether wikipedia will delete 49,000 articles about a living person without references, here:

Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Biographies of living people

Since biographies of living people covers so many topics, nearly all wikiproject topics will be effected.

The two opposing positions which have the most support is:

  1. supports the deletion of unreferenced articles about a living person, User:Jehochman
  2. opposes the deletion of unreferenced articles about a living person, except in limited circumstances, User:Collect

Comments are welcome. Keep in mind that by default, editor's comments are hidden. Simply press edit next to the section to add your comment.

Please keep in mind that at this point, it seems that editors support deleting unreferenced article if they are not sourced, so your project may want to pursue the projects below.

An ongoing concern

edit

I'm concerned that the majority of individual Digimon don't merit their own articles. I don't think I've seen a single one with a conception/creation or reception section to justify encyclopedic importance in the real world. Tezero (talk) 15:41, 22 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Template:Infobox Digimon

edit

Why doesn't this template have any sort of support for the romaji names? Why is it only the English names in the Japanese market (we have Puppetmon, Pinocchimon, but not ピノッキモン or Pinokkimon).—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 17:27, 10 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you read the usage, the infobox does actually provide support for both katakana and japname (romaji) parameters. Arsonal (talk) 21:59, 10 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Absorption into WP:ANIME

edit

There is a ongoing discussion about absorbing this project into WP:ANIME as an inactive work group at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Anime and manga#Digimon articles. —Farix (t | c) 14:30, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Non-merged group articles

edit

Royal Knights, Olympus Twelve, and Seven Great Demon Lords have recently been synced to Digimon Wiki, adding a lot of citations to the articles.

For Royal Knights, someone removed the images that had been semi-agreed upon on the talk page and added non-fair use images instead, causing both sets to end up deleted. I have reverted to the fair use images, but they cannot be reuploaded without an admin, and I'd appreciate someone with more experience with the fair use policy to discuss it on the talk page or with J Milburn in order to get the image situation resolved. Thanks!208.249.136.187 (talk) 20:53, 24 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Updates to TV#MOS

edit

I'm not sure how many people monitor WP:MOSTV or even WP:TV (the basic WikiProject for all of us), but we've been trying to get some feedback on additions to the TV Manual of Style. It largely has to do with the inclusion of "Overview" tables at the start of the page, the order in which season lists are presented (currently, there is no concrete order), and what is considered too much info for DVDs (i.e. should we be placing every detail about the box set in the article, from each interview to the aspect ratio, or should be keep it more generalized). Please see discussion at WT:MOSTV#Updates to the MOS. Thank you.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 22:12, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Massive clean-up in the individual profiles

edit

I believe we should do something about the individual profiles. All of them seem to lack some sort of notability, because basically the majority of them are just summarizations of the character themselves.

I have some information we could use for a "reception" section for the characters, particularly of the Adventure characters. We could analyze how much their character singles sold and how well they ranked on the Oricon charts. (This is Takeru's, for example) In addition, Toei released a series of online polls on their website throughout the end of Adventure and until the end of 02, so we can see who voters voted as the "best" in a certain category. lullabying (talk) 19:58, 25 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of Agumon for deletion

edit

Since many Xros Wars articles were being eliminated, both the Digimon Adventure and DATS versions of Agumon are being nominated.72.184.129.252 (talk) 17:53, 20 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Digimon Universe Appli Monster unsourced English Dub edits

edit

Hey everyone,

Thought I might bring this up, but an IP, specifically User: 87.14.234.47, has been inserting unsourced information about an English dub for Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters, and on a similar note has been inserting unsourced information into List of Digimon films about an unsourced Digimon film which won't be coming out anytime soon. I already mentioned this over at Wikipedia:WikiProject Film's talk page as well and would like to see all hands on deck with this! --IanDBeacon (talk) 22:01, 17 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

@IanDBeacon:, I would suggest protecting the article from IP edits. Similar edits of that nature have been happening to Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure tri. lullabying (talk) 18:58, 31 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
