other characters edit

I've added an "other characters" section in case anyone may like to put minor/one-off characters as the series progresses. anyone interested? Visokor (talk) 13:41, 2 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Contravenes MOS:TV. We only care about main characters and significant recurring ones. "Remember to follow the notability guidelines when creating a cast list: Not every fictional character ever created deserves to be listed" Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:39, 2 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
First time commenter. I've read as many guidelines as I could find, so hopefully I'm not disrupting things. There is an Other Characters section in the original Danger Mouse page. MOS:TV and similar seem vague about deservedness. The characters listed have plot-relevant voice parts; I'm not suggesting 'extras' require listing. A brief description seems appropriate for these. Having recently asked a child, inclusion seems worthwhile. I think of it from a Search perspective; if Wikipedia's Search yields nothing, no one knows if there was such a character. Hi Kevin, and welcome to Wikipedia! Minor characters, (i.e., non-recurring ones) are typically not noteworthy. An exception might be if a notable actor voiced a role, but that's not set in stone. We prefer to focus on recurring characters not one-offs. There are other venues for extra details like this, Wikia, for instance, which has a much lower standard for inclusion. Sources needed for air dates edit

Hi, we need references for the air dates or they will likely be cut. Content must be verifiable at all times, which is why linking to daily programming sheets that disappear after a week is not the smart way to go. Archived copies should be used. I have updated the 5 iPlayer refs to those archived at the Wayback Machine Etron81 (talk) 22:20, 14 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

DM's desciption edit

Should there be a small description for DM? Many of his flaws have become more evident in this series, you know Visokor (talk) 10:17, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

A third series? edit

I noticed in the episode "The Good, the Baaaaa and the Ugly" that Greenback mentioned something along the lines of "the next 104 episodes" does that imply anything? Visokor (talk) 09:10, 3 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

MOS:TVCAST edit

In these edits I undid some changes to the character list. Per MOS:TVCAST, we're typically only interested in Main and Recurring characters. We don't need a lot of microdivisions, and especially not ones with subjective labels like "Villains" (or "heroes, protagonists, antagonists", etc.) See WP:ANTAGONIST. My placement of the Recurring characters heading was arbitrary. Someone familiar with the series will have to figure out who the main characters are. The most intuitive arrangement would be the members of the agency who appear in all the episodes. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 01:29, 3 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

this plotline edit

here's a plotline:

Danger Mouse takes on Greenback - but as a geriatric (or elderly) mouse, after the Baron speeds up the rotation of Earth, making everyone and thing 1,000 years older! Can DM pull out all the stops and restore the world?

what can this meanNeverlander223 (talk) 19:46, 11 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Well, firstly, you should probably mention that this is an existing plot summary that appears elsewhere, like here for instance. I say this, because pasting copyrighted content without mentioning where it comes from, is problematic. That said, it sounds like they're taking a page out of the 1978 Superman film, where Superman flies around the earth to reverse time. If the Baron speeds up the rotation of the earth, Danger Mouse would age. It's not a well-written summary. They probably should have started with the Baron's action, then explained the result. "The Baron speeds up the rotation of the earth, making everyone, including Danger Mouse, 1,000 years older".
Regardless, it cannot be used in the article as 1) plot summaries must be written from scratch in our own words, what with plagiarism and copyright issues to consider and 2) we do not use rhetorical questions in encyclopedias. Encyclopedias answer questions, they don't ask them. Hope that helps. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:30, 12 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

I found that plot in the link, but we haven't seen it yet. Neverlander223 (talk) 13:47, 12 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Series 2 edit

I will leave it until there get around to airing these eps but if as you say Benomaster " CBBC are airing them as series 2. because You believe the two missing series 1 episodes are because series 1 had two double length episodes, it should be noted on the main page at some point. --Crazyseiko (talk) 18:29, 24 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

It's quite normal for double-length episodes to have two episode numbers, so that would make sense. — anemoneprojectors 10:21, 11 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
but there don't. --Crazyseiko (talk) 19:44, 12 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Episodes edit

I would like to suggest we split that off to its own page, since its getting to get pretty big with all the Series 2 details added. --Crazyseiko (talk) 20:52, 2 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

I would agree with this Etron81 (talk) 13:57, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

I agree, especially with series 2 airing and series 3 announced. BeanoMaster (talk) 09:17, 9 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Can we consider that the show just ended or axed edit

Sorry to bother everyone,But seeing that there is not a single new episode of Danger mouse (2015) not to mention that there isn't a single news of a 3rd series,Is it okay that the show is considered ended or axed on 5 March 2019? --Belrien12 (talk) 13:05, 13 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
