I didn't actually produce the map showing the 2012 results (that was User:Spiritofsussex), but he used my blank map (File:Scottish council areas 2011.svg) to create it. You should be able to use the same blank (along with the results), to produce maps for 1999-2007 elections - there are instructions at User:Nilfanion/Elections. With regards to "Clifton was solely represented by the Conservatives. The path for this includes: id="Clifton" style="fill:#ffd700;fill-rule:evenodd...":

If you download the blank SVG map (make sure its a .svg not a .png), you can then open that file with a text editor. You should get a lengthy file with HTML-like elements. If you then search in that file for the council name, you will be able to locate and change it.

Kenny Everett

Agree that the Kenny Everett friendhip should be in the Freddie Mercury article, but you can't put it in an article and leave it hanging without being properly referenced. Use your sandbox to do a draft (properly referenced (not digital spy, nor just reference a show...needs to be specific ie. page), also properly linked)...and then add it in the article. Public holidays in the United Kingdom

The anonymous user changed "It was later restored in 1958." to "It was included in the schedule to the Bank Holidays Act 1871." The material you restored is not based on the external source, concerning legislation in Scotland.:

A&E Blaze

Warning, you are edit warring over the split of Blaze TV channel from A&E Networks. A) Blaze doesn't meet Wikipedia:Notability, which is the standard for its own article not amount of content. B) Blaze UK TV Channel is an incorrect article name since the channel's name is not "Blaze UK TV Channel" but "Blaze". It is not just a UK channel. You have run around defying BRD. You were reverted as you are not following WP:Split discussion procedures. You want dialog then revert contrary to BRD. You need to allow others including myself time to respond to a proper split discussion not make snotty statements like at Wikipedia:Neutral point of view/Noticeboard#Can any add some Neutral point of view on this page: Blaze and else where. I was the R(evert) in BRD, thus you are not suppose to revert. Since, I had to correct where and how the split talk is taking place. With limited time and given over to restore the status quo of your improper reverts, while ironically demanding I go to the talk page explains why I had not joined the discussion. Grammar and Additional References

Hello, after reviewing a number of your edits, I can see that they mostly involve television (series, channels, personalities, etc.) from the United Kingdom. Although your intentions seem to be well, there also seems to be a significant amount of grammatical flaws and self-sourced material, which I would suggest citing and reviewing, before publishing.

And, frankly, at this point, I also can't tell if you're unaware of the issues or if it's something deliberate. As you seem to be aware of the Wikipedia manuals of style, I would also recommend reviewing those policies, again.

Not all of Scotland took the Thursday off [informal] with only some areas getting a 3 day weekend. Fife instead had the following Monday off, as inline with there [their] normal 1st [first] Monday in June Holiday.

Although that has been fixed by another user, it's just one example I would like to point out. If certain things, which may be more subjective or lack a clear source, need some discussion, you should use the relevant talk pages, as you have for some pages.

Continuing television programmes

Hang on a sec, these don't originate from a blocked IP. I created most of them about fifteen years ago using a template from existing pages. We didn't have a full list of years in British television at the time, although there were a few that had previously been created (2005 in British television being an example). Continuing television series was one of the sections I picked up from there, but it would be worth having a discussion somewhere about whether the information is relevant before removing it. It's probably worth getting some consensus on such a big change as it will affect several hundred articles. I suppose one of the problems with such a list is keeping it updated. They get copy/pasted at the beginning of each year, and people don't always remember to remove series that ended during the previous year, or to go back and update the list. I'm going to put the sections back for now because every other article has one, but let's start a discussion somewhere about whether to include them going forward.
