I'm having problems getting this page to load, and I use a broadband connection. This makes the page very hard to work with, when making additions, changes, etc. Wouldn't it be a good idea to add section headers, and then create subpages, so that all 1500 portals are not all on one page? Response by Espresso Addict (talk · contribs): The portal directory is the only place I know of to find portal maintainers, if that info isn't listed on the portal itself. As such it's particularly useful for working out who to notify when bringing featured portals to review (a task that sorely needs addressing atm). Who is maintaining - or who last maintained - a portal should be visible from the edit history, either of the top-level portal page or its subpages. It seems a lot of work to maintain this list of portals just to save someone having to go through the edit history. Bencherlite ^Talk 16:18, 29 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
