@Eddie891: I found two returns for "Perdicaris" in the Trenton Evening Times on Ancestry, 84 on Newspapers.com, and an indeterminate number (I can't see without activating a trial subscrption) from Genealogy Bank. Neither of the former two appear to contain an obituary, nor any returns after 1921. The reason may (or may not) be that 1925 works are not in the public domain (1924 and prior are). —Compassionate727 ^(T·C) 14:27, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

Hello, I am looking for the text of M. Kohn's review of Nicholas Humphrey's A History of the Mind, for use at the article A History of the Mind. Title: "All there is?" Publication details: "New Statesman & Society. 5/15/92, Vol. 5 Issue 202, p39. 1/2p.". ISSN 0954-2361.

I am also looking for the text of Lewis Wolpert's review of A History of the Mind that appeared in NewScientist. Unfortunately I do not have the author's name. Title: "A consciousness of ourselves." Publication details: "New Scientist. 9/26/92, Vol. 135 Issue 1840, p45. 3/4p. 1 Illustration." ISSN 0262-4079.

The third review I am looking for by George A. Miller appeared in New York Times Book Review. Again I do not have the author's name. Title: "Sneaking Up on Consciousness". Publication details: "New York Times Book Review. 10/4/92, p33. 1p. 1 Black and White Photograph." ISSN 0028-7806.

The fourth review is by either or both of Genevieve Stuttaford and Sybil Steinberg. Publication details: "Publishers Weekly. 8/31/1992, Vol. 239 Issue 39, p56. 1/4p." ISSN 0000-0019.

I do not understand, by the way, why you add "via EBSCO's Academic Search Complete" to the citations in the article if EBSCO doesn't have the text. — Pajz (talk) 11:51, 7 July 2019 (UTC)

and also, when you use JSTOR article, mention it in citation (|via=JSTOR) with url or atleast mention '|jstor=stable number'. Same for other paywall databases. This is a rare book, so you may be most able to acquire it if you live: 1) near a major US university campus or library, same with 2) UK, 3) France, and 4) Germany; 5) near Le Caire or AUC, Egypt, 6) near University of Auckland, or, 7) near University of Australia, Canberra.

I think I can guess what "closed" means in this case, but I'm not sure about "open". I'm aware, at this point, of four types of books on Google Books: those which lack any digital preview, those which provide small excerpts like this, those which provide full-page previews, and those where the entire book is freely accessible. One of these book reviews is used as a source in Robert Peel (Christian Science). Apparently the reviewer, Martin E. Marty, is named, but I can't see the original, and the name is not in the version the NYT makes available to everyone. Could someone with access either send me a copy or confirm that Martin E. Bruce1ee, well, neither, in a way. ISBN-10 and ISBN-13 can be converted back and forth (using https://tools.wmflabs.org/isbn/IsbnCheckAndFormat, for instance) and the second Google Books ISBN is simply the ISBN-13 corresponding to the actual ISBN-10 (0-00-217863-X according to the copyright page of the book). Google Books often provides both the ISBN-10 and the converted ISBN-13 (and with good intentions: making sure that you can find the book regardless of which number you enter). However, citations should generally refer to the ISBN provided in the book (see Wikipedia:ISBN#Types). The practical reason is simply that library catalogues record what is in the book and while modern library catalogues should not bother if you feed them with the ISBN-13 or the ISBN-10, there is still plenty of catalogue software around that does not support this (less so in the US/UK, more commonly in Latin America, China, India, and there's also one regional catalogue in Germany which has difficulty with the conversion). So if someone clicks the ISBN in our citation and picks their local catalogue using our ISBN special page (or copy-pastes the ISBN into their local library catalogue), we increase their chances of locating the material by providing the ISBN originally assigned to the book. 2nd Armoured Division (United Kingdom)

Currently refining the 2nd Armoured Division (United Kingdom), with the intent to move through GA to potential FA-Class reviews. I use to own the above source, but unfortunately no longer. I know there is a chapter, unfortunately unable to use any online sources to get actual page numbers, that deals with the Afrika Korps initial offensive and their engagement with the 2nd Armoured Division/3rd Armoured Brigade. The information is an almost blow by blow account of the battle between the two, which would greatly aid the article.
