Project Name: OFFLINE FULL
for use in India in English.
Guidelines edit
- The selection of articles will be based on the SOS Children's Village Aim is to release an English Wikipedia CD that contain a selected number of articles.
- Primary focus is on school & college students in India.
- Will contain:
- a balanced core of international & national articles (approx half of the compilation)
- reinforced with a set of national articles (approx half of the compilation)
- The Articles need to have more relevance from the perspective of India.
Planned sequence of actions edit
- Set up the framework for the WikiProject.
Done - Select articles for OWIS-FULL, subject-wise. -Open now for six subjects.
- Create table & inspect each article carefully for tags, issues and work needed, subject-wise.
- Sort out all the article problems, subject-wise.
- Submit to a jury for proposed changes eg maps, deletion of inappropriate material etc.
- Hand over to tech team which takes articles and compiles them into an offline Wikipedia.
- While OWIS-FULL is being prepared, each subject set once completed will be released separately to the environment.

Guidelines on how to remove or include new articles from a list A simple system has been framed so that adding/removing articles does not result in a free-for-all. Kindly follow these rules:
- Original list to be left intact.
- Articles sought to be deleted to be moved to a list below titled "Articles to be deleted". Preferably
strikeout the article in the original list also.- Articles sought to be included to be moved to a list below titled "Articles to be included".
- Please give a short reason for removal/inclusion and sign off after it.
- Please use talk page for discussing issues or comments.
