Hello, since I haven't received any reply in July, I will post my question again if you don't mind.

I'm writing about our our ISS Art article which was declined again. Following the advice to refer to reliable secondary sources we've added a reference from Forbes.com - an independent and credible resource. However, the submission was declined again. Therefore, I would like to ask: how many resources do you recommend for the article to be approved? What level of resources should this be? Thanks in advance.

Hello @Arthur goes shopping:, thank you for your reply. Indeed, there is no direct mentioning of ISS Art in this article as long as there was the NDA signed betweeen us (as an outsourcing provider) and our customer. All the exclusive ownership rights were handed over to the customer. However, we've negotiated the point about adding the reference to Forbes to our article draft with the customer, and we've got his approval.

And I am still wondering: how many resources do you recommend for the article to be approved? What level of resources should this be? Thank you.

As a rule of thumb, normally between three and five sources that are all independent of the subject, reliable, and provide significant coverage. Appearing in lists of things would not normally meet the the significant coverage requirement, and the Forbes material does not seem to either. Hi, I have resubmitted the article on Mr Deepak after painstakingly sourcing for more information on him through the internet and fortunately, i manage to find 2 newspaper articles for which the sites have been indicated under "references"

I sincerely hope your office would not reject this article and i believe it is noteworthy of reading and the sources are very reliable.

I resubmitted my article with reference to reliable sources. However it was declined with below comments:

This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability—see the guidelines on the notability of organizations and companies and the golden rule. Please improve the submission's referencing, so that the information is verifiable, and there is clear evidence of why the subject is notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia.

I can't understand where I am wrong. So please inform me which mentioned source is reliable & which one is not.

@Rajcurator: Please feel free to continue improving your draft. I am on Wikipedia very little so I can't promise to review the draft later. To illustrate the issue, take a look at the draft's sources. You have only one journalistic source, this piece from Business Standard. All it establishes is the new brand ambassador. The rest is a quote from the company's managing director. It doesn't establish other facts as independent research. This piece from Apparel Resources is good, too. You need more sources like that. Right now the coverage is so thin the company fails our notability criteria for businesses. You've done a good job of improving what you started with but you may have to wait a few years until this company really establishes a solid place in the market. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and as such it looks backward at notable subjects; it's not a forward-looking directory. Chris Troutman (talk) 05:22, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I received a message from PotatoNinja about my references being incorrect and to use footnotes. I corrected them and resubmitted my article but then got a second identical message immediately from Sulferboy. I don;t understand what I need to do to correct the submission. Am trying to load a logo for Mischief Theatre I think I've done it correctly but it's hard to tell. I've used the Upload Wizard and edited the Use rationale but it still doesn't appear on the page. Is this because it needs to be approved first? Please could you advise?

Your Draft several times describes the subject (a living person) as a recovering alcoholic. Such statements are considered controversial, and must therefore have an inline citation to a reliable source immediately after them.
I am not sure whether the subject of your Draft would pass Wikipedia's notability requirements... simple summary at Wikipedia:VRS... even if the above problem is fixed. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 06:45, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have submitted three drafts of a biography for a living person, Roberta Grossman, which have all been rejected by Wikipedia. The subject is a writer/director of multiple, award winning, documentary films which have been shown everywhere from MSNBC to PBS to dozens of international film festivals.

Now I have been asked again by Ms. Grossman to include awards, more links, and other external reviews of her films in an attempt to "boost" her chances of being included in Wikipedia.

Please tell me if I am on the right track and exactly what is missing from my biography submission.

@Ahurvitz2: Just passing through, having never edited this page before, I have 'fixed' the draft pages template (above) so it displays correctly. One thing I noticed about your draft was you are 'embedding' external links in the text. Please convert these into wp:references. The earlier comment from Sulfurboy "Still lacking inline citations in places. Needs cleanup for typos and grammar. External links at the bottom seem to just be random and unorganized.", still applies.

I'm wondering as to how many more reliable sources you would need in order to approve this article? It was suggested in the comments when my article was rejected that they need more sources.
