The page is blank. Please read WP:42 about reliable sources that you will need. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 03:41, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am writing to you because my article was rejected and I modified it, would you tell me if it's acceptable or not? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Josef.smith1222 (talkcontribs) 11:39, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There's currently a backlog of almost a thousand submissions awaiting review; it may take two weeks or so until a reviewer takes a look at yours. I've already told you that in my opinion the sources still don't suffice to establish Felscuti's notability, but I'll leave the review to others. Huon (talk) 15:21, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Huon, probably its a mistake from your side because Mr. Felcsuti is one of most important persons in the Eastern European economy as I have written, he is the adviser of the Hungarian Minister for National Economy, Mihály Varga, he is Vice President of The Confederation of Hungarian Employers and Industrialists, the 16th richest men in Hungary and the second biggest industrial enterpreneur in Hungary, lecturer of many prominent european economic forums.... Regarding the information in my article, with reliable sources which can be translated if they are need to be, please accept my article. But if the sources from international and Hungarian newspapers or websites of prominent organizations like Financial Times, Manager Magazin, Who is who in the Hungarian Economy, Economic Forum Alpbach, Confederation of Hungarian Employers and Industrialists ... are not enough, please let me know what kind of information do you need. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Josef.smith1222 (talkcontribs) 11:03, 1 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could assist me with getting this band article created. It has been declined 3 times and many improvements have been made as a result. I have been told that wikipedia has become much stricter recently with band articles, and the main criteria now for creation are publications in well known sources such as magazines or chart success. The band has been reviewed in Metal Hammer Germany (one of the biggest worldwide metal magazines), Fireworks (UK magazine) and Burnn (big Japanese magazine). Should I update the page to include these references, would it stand a much better chance of creation? This is a band who are certainly going to get bigger, but it has proved tricky to find the sources that meet Wikipedia's standards.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Metal Hammer definitely is a reliable source; I don't know about the others you mention here. Your current sources, however, are largely not reliable, and you should probably remove most of them, especially all the primary sources such as the band's MySpace page, the record labels and so on. I'm not sure, however, whether the band satisfies our notability guidelines at all; if they are going to get bigger it may simply be too soon to write an encyclopedia article on them. Dimitri Papadimos edit

I am trying to create an English version of an existing article in Greek Wikipedia. http://el.wikipedia.org/wiki/%CE%94%CE%B7%CE%BC%CE%AE%CF%84%CF%81%CE%B7%CF%82_%CE%A0%CE%B1%CF%80%CE%B1%CE%B4%CE%AE%CE%BC%CE%BF%CF%82 I am his son and have the copyright of his photos.(http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Photographs_by_Dimitris_Papadimos) and I am receiving: User_talk:Yani_papadimos#Your_submission_at_Articles_for_creation "This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources" Please advise on how I may solve the problem Thank you Ioannis D.Papadimos (Yani Papadimos) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yani papadimos (talkcontribs) 20:37, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, you may want to have a look at our guideline on conflicts of interest; writing about close relatives is discouaraged.
Secondly, whether or not versions of this article exist in other languages is irrelevant; each submission must stand on its own merits, and Wikipedia does not consider itslef (or its Greek sister project) a reliable source. Thus calling the Greek version of the article a "reference" will be a mark against your draft.
"Reliable sources" by Wikipedia's standards are third-party sources with editorial oversight, sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy, sources like articles in newspapers or reputable photography magazines (about Papadimos, not written by him!) or maybe peer-reviewed scholarly papers. I don't think either of the websites you cite is subject to that kind of editorial oversight. Furthermore, the Hellenic Literary and Historical Archive is a part of the National Bank of Greece Cultural Foundation, so these sources aren't really independent of each other. You'd need to show that Papadimos is more widely written about than the current article suggests. Huon (talk) 21:00, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
