Redundant with {{Administrative divisions of the Philippines}}. Please see Template talk:Administrative divisions of the Philippines#Template:Regions of the Philippines for more information. —hueman1 (talk contributions) 14:34, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This template is deprecated and replaced with the unsubst module. I would say either figure out a way to get this template to call the unsubst module like other templates can or delete this template. Aasim (talk) 07:13, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Refund applies in case someone want to include the family tree or parts of the family tree in an article. (non-admin closure) --Trialpears (talk) 22:59, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unused family tree template. Is linked in a couple "see also" sections which seems an inappropriate use of both "see also" sections and template namespace. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 03:31, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. * Pppery * it has begun... 21:10, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep but might need to prune the tree. From looking up the Aliyev family, it looks like they may be a super influential family in Azerbaijan. It's possible that the Karbalayi Abbasgulu side of the tree isn't really worth including, but I think this may be a Wikipedia:Systemic bias issue (in that we - I was also going to say delete initially - personally don't know about these people and therefore assume they aren't notable). Read the lead of Ilham Aliyev - its possible that allegedly the presidential election maybe was fake (that was sarcasm, things seem dictator-y). The Aliyevs have been the "elected" Presidents since 1993. See also Heydar Aliyev's cult of personality which specifically mentions that Heydar "began to carefully design an autocratic system, with heavy reliance on family and clan members, oil revenues and patronage (emphasis added by me)". --Xurizuri (talk) 06:11, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Xurizuri: Is this a proper use of template space before? I have never seen a family tree in template space. If there is sufficient reason to interlink all these people, then wouldn't a navbox be better? Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 08:28, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • @TenPoundHammer: Oh wow all the family trees I've seen aren't templates (I mean, they are, but in the way an infobox is a template). Yeah I guess ignore me. --Xurizuri (talk) 10:25, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Pointless templates, as only used on one article. Therefore, we should subst and delete Joseph2302 (talk) 14:49, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Subst and delete to Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy where they should be. Nigej (talk) 15:25, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Could be used on 2020 English cricket season as well. Arguably should be. Blue Square Thing (talk) 15:34, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • No it shouldn't be. The 2020 English cricket season should contain a summary, the detail should be elsewhere, in the main article. Nigej (talk) 16:30, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
      • That's an opinion, sure. I tend to think they could be used there sensibly though. If they were massively long tables I might agree, but they're not. Blue Square Thing (talk) 10:28, 16 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, Primefac (talk) 02:25, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Subst and delete This is purely static information that has no reason to be in a template regardless of how many pages it is used on. * Pppery * it has begun... 21:10, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • subst and delete, single use, and even if it were not single use, we could use WP:LST to show elsewhere. Frietjes (talk) 18:53, 5 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
