None of the pages in the navbox use this template. It was used incorrectly on one page that isn't linked from this template which I removed. Gonnym (talk) 16:03, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose per WP:COMMONSENSE. The benefits of this navbox are obvious: it improves a reader's ability to navigate from the central article—phonetics—to more specialized articles on subtopics. Instead of using multiple {{further}} templates or requiring readers to scan through the article for an in-text link, the navbox presents them with the relevant subarticles at once in an organized but unobtrusive manner. Deleting a useful navigational tool for readers because it doesn't contain a particular link or is not used on particular pages is absurd and contradicted by WP:ATD. — Wug·a·po·des​ 20:49, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • Oh, I didn't realize this was a recent creation and was only used in Phonetics. In that case, I in fact very much prefer uses of {{further}} (or {{main}}). The links are also already in {{Phonetics}}. Nardog (talk) 21:00, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • How exactly does ATD fit here? An actual relevant guideline would be WP:SIDEBAR which among other things gives WP:BIDIRECTIONAL. This template not only does not link to Phonetics but is not even present on any of the pages it does link. The section already links to Place of articulation using {{main}} and regular links to other pages in the actual article, without needlessly placing a sidebar in the middle of an article. --Gonnym (talk) 22:05, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Propose merging Template:Manner of articulation with Template:Articulation navbox.

  • I would prefer deletion. MOA and ArtNav are used in different parts of the article, so redirecting one to the other could actually cause problems. As the one who deprecated it, though, I have no problem with either outcome. — Wug·a·po·des​ 20:28, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete {{Manner of articulation}}. We might also want to delete Template:Place of articulation (I don't understand why this was redirected when the Manner one is tagged for merging).     • @Nardog: I had replaced all the transclusions of {{Place of articulation}} so redirection didn't affect anything. I never got around to doing the transclusions of {{Manner of articulation}} so redirecting that would cause problems. — Wug·a·po·des​ 20:58, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Template:PHL sports results header edit

Propose merging Template:PHL sports results header with Module:Sports results.
Template family has been tagged as deprecated and that Module:Sports results should be used instead. WP:TFD/H is the correct place for this process. Note: I placed the footer and row in a noinclude so it won't break the table. Change if necessary. Gonnym (talk) 15:38, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
